Turandot de Verona 2018 dividiram os atos. O 3o- ato já entra com tudo sem uma introduçaõ. O 1o- e 2o- atos gravaram juntos com trechos. Esta apresentação do 2o- ato é o único ato que está completo. Está uma esculhambação. Por que não gravam completo sem cortes? Esta gravação é uma das melhores.

Looks like they borrowed the scenery from the MET...

It is directed and designed by Zeffirelli. Slightly different from his production at the Met. (Different costumes, lighting, etc.) They'd have to be careful about 'reproductions'. Zeffirelli when alive had been known to sue over things like that.

la signora anna pirozzi è una cantante meravigliosa che canta sul fiato e non emette suoni intubati e spinti . La sua è una voce musicale e molto elegante

I was on this performance. It was my first experience with this opera. And I got Turandot under my skin. Since then I have heard it thousands times in different theaters and tv productions. And yet this very performance gives me goos bumps. Anna Pirozzi and this young Turkish tenor I don’t remember his name, they were fantastic.
