Have a built 350Z with 37k on the od making 550 on 1bar with pump. If you have any questions about it shoot me a message back. Although I have a ls swap in the works. Just blew the bearing in my crank with anti lag 2nd gear launches lol
I feel your pain! I spun a journal bearing and tried limping home and sent a rod through the upper oil pan once I pulled in the driveway smh. I went with Manley platinum turbo tuff pistons and turbo tuff rods,Tomei head gasket, rev up oil pump upgrade, all acl bearings n thrust washers, new rear main seal, valve stem seals, stuff like that.still have to get main and head studs.bit am having a hard time finding a block for sale
I'm building my motor as well. i got recommended to close my deck at the machine shop since I'm going to push the same power. at this point i rather be safe than sorry.
There's a guy on YT with a 740whp Maxima (VQ35DE) with almost stock internals (except pistons and rods) on a Maxima without any issue for almost two years. I think is open deck
I'm about to buy a '99 or '00 maxima for turborcharge, and I've see people in the early 2000s getting pretty crazy with theirs VQ30DE. Its interesting to see that by that time the 30 was much more tuned than the 35, and people were very skeptical about tuning that new engine, when both are indeed very similar. There were people with 500whp vq30de maximas, so you should expect something similar or greater in your 35
Oh, one more thing. The "openess" of the block exists for a very important reason: Cooling. To close a aluminium block, I think, it is not a good thing, 'cause will increase the combustion chamber's tempeture
@@cjbeagle214 his rods would probably give out. 350z stock rods are only good for like 400 hp and they start fucking up. If not that theres so much more that could go out. Better just to spend the money and have it last 120k+ miles

I'm currently having stand alone issues haha

You've got a sub and I love this series, it's exactly what. I want to do, good luck
Opinion on adding boost to a cammed high comp 11.1 ratio VQ35DE? Good or bad idea with the 11.1?
Can the open deck design hold 600whp without the bores failing?

@@Fvlvidios yes interesting people pushing 800whp on open deck with rods and pistons from further research.

So did you reach your goal of 600hp? Are you going to keep on posting more episodes?
you def coulda gone cheaper for only 600wheel just eagle rods wiseco pistons
Can I do all this in a stock 350z engine
Like everything you did to make it into a 600 horsepower would it work on my stock 350z engine
Do you intend to keep it stock
asss12005 yea
I have seen some last about 20k with that power on a good tune.

whats the total cost? try to include those on the next videos man, thanks!
+GarageBunny my bad I'll add it up and show it but I'm also going to make a video showing how to save big on internal build
looking forward to that bro!
yo i see you finally uploaded a vid in forever haha sick good to see your still in the game
yea lol i mostly just post on ig. i dont have many video ideas lol :P
GOOD quality though what camera do you use
Why’d you stop
