So sweet and likeable. You always shone and made one feel happy just to watch you. Thanks and best wishes wherever you are now. I can't say "Rest" to you because you never did for long...
“Never ever talk badly about your spouse in front of your kids cause it does reflect on them. They are a part of him as much as they are a part of you” THIS 🙌 How I wish Ivana could have given my now divorced parents this very same advice. Bad mouthing a former spouse can really mess up children. My little brother and I (along with other countless children out there who are products of messy divorce) absolutely HATED hearing our parents talk shit about one another. It was one of the worst mentally hurtful things we children could hear about our once-upon-a-time tight nit loving family.
Being honest with your children to help them process and understand the situation is totally different from trash talking. I am sorry you, and your friends, had to go through that.
Both my sister and I have developed serious depression and anxiety problems that we are still grappling with in our 40s, because of that. Once you develop chronic depression and or anxiety you have to learn to manage it for the rest of your life. They literally destroy their own children, these types of people. My brother is also not okay, he's prone to episodes with his temper and we know why. We're constantly scared that-that will cost him his current relationship because he's new girlfriend is a really nice person. He is on therapy, but again it's constant self-monitoring and management. Our parents never grew up and to this very day keep saying the worst things about each other to us, whenever they catch us off-guard, no matter how many times we have all asked them to stop it, they don't care _eventually they always do it again. I've had to resort to stop seeing my mother altogether to be able to preserve whatever is left of my metal sanity, or she would kill me. My heart literally starts hurting and I start struggling to breath when she starts her thing. She would even attack our father in front of us, as in she would try to physically assault him and we have had to restrain her multiple times. Dad also bad mouths her still, but not like she does. It is so incredibly selfish and saddening how so very ignorant most divorced couples still are with this, and they will come up with all sorts of excuses for their childish, toxic nonsense. That's what happens when children have children. Couples that do this don't give a shit about the children, I'm sorry I don't care about how much they claim to care or even believe that they actually do, but they don't _they only care about the hate they have for one another other. Nothing else matters to those types of people. How about you just don't talk about your spouse to your children, period! Whatever shit that you have with him/ her is your own, not theirs. People are so dangerously stupid. Ivana was wise, she kept it zipped and waited for them to grow up and understand the situation, and who was the problem, for themselves. Women who feel like they have to tell that dad was the one at fault to their kids, are also implying that their children are stupid and won't be able o figure that out by themselves when they are old enough.
I did the same, never talked shit about my children’s father. Instead, having full physical custody, I alone cared for them. I let them them form their own opinions about him through his actions, rather inactions (no child support nor visitations) as he chose not to be present for them only to show up on Christmas each year. My son says he misses having a father but my daughter says she doesn’t care because she never had one to miss.
Rest In Peace Ivana. You loved your first husband and children and always supported them. you were hard working and handled your divorce with dignity and class. You loved on with your life but it was evident that you and your first husband still loved and respected each other. Thanks for showing us women can remain great mothers and run and empire.

My prayers and condolences go out to her children Ivanka, Eric and Donald Jr. for the loss of their beautiful mother. That’s great how she said that no matter how bad she feels about her ex-husband, she never bad mouthed about Donald. She seams like a great lady. RIP Ivana 😪🙏
Superalto: I believe she came to terms with DJT'S betrayal. However, at one point she did accuse him of rape withdrawing the accusation as the divorce was settled. Putting her children first, she stayed on friendly terms after. I remained on friendly terms with my ex for my daughter. She made up her own mind but remained civil with her father
Yes, it's great advice that I've followed too. Though I think even in a very angry moment of sarcasm, my child understood and laughed light heartedly at my gentle snipe. But children see for themselves and work it out if the dad is not good. You just have to remind them that Yes, they are a part of us, both parents..but they are their own unique individual selves as well. R.I.P IVANA💝

It would make me nervous for my parents to climb those stairs daily,
She exuded class and respect, and was a Very wise woman. Interesting to listen to her and see all she has accomplished. Amazing. Equally wonderful is she had many good friends who valued her ways of genuinely caring for them.
Ivana would have been a better 1st Lady than Melania.
So tragic. She seemed like a very nice lady. So sorry to the family for their loss.

Yea but she remarried after Donald so technically she's didnt die as Mrs. Ivana Trump. If she kept the Trump name.. she'd be a Ms. Not Mrs. Just saying. "Mrs. Trump" was 1st lady.

Amazing person. Thank you for showing the staircase and tasteful vids of the funeral. many thanks. Peace to her family and God's peace on her.
I had to bury my mother in April of this year. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life. She was just a few days shy of her 50th birthday. I feel so bad for Ivana's children. Losing your mother is a different kind of pain.
So sorry for ur loss! May God be with u and give u his love and comfort!
Did you hear her older son eulogise her?
Lol, no love lost in that family.
All they know is hatred.
So sweet and likeable. You always shone and made one feel happy just to watch you. Thanks and best wishes wherever you are now. I can't say "Rest" to you because you never did for long...
She reminds me of Zsa Zsa Gabor too.
“Never ever talk badly about your spouse in front of your kids cause it does reflect on them. They are a part of him as much as they are a part of you”
THIS 🙌
How I wish Ivana could have given my now divorced parents this very same advice.
Beautiful soul. Rest in perfect peace.

I watched first wives club over 20 yrs ago and that was the only line I remember from that movie but I didn’t know who she was.

My thoughts too. How many times she went up and down those stairs and then to have this happen. I do hope she didn't lay there for by herself for long but no-one will ever know except the authorities who should be able to judge the timeframe-not that it matters.
