Still looking for my perfect, affordable-ish pair. I had a pair in animal print years ago but sold them on because I genuinely felt like a totally different, posher person than I am. But that was when everyone wore skinny jeans and loafers + skinny jeans is not my fave combination
When I lived in the NE, I was devoted to loafers, especially suede. Since I've moved to FL, they've become less practical, yet still beloved. Because I have a wider foot, the majority of my loafers are Ferragamo. I'm a bold accessory person, so most of my loafers are jeweled-toned. I love the JW Anderson pair. They are outrageously bold. If I had daintier feet, they would be mine. PS: those pants you wore when modeling your loafers are divine. As always thank you for sharing your collection.
Ferragamo makes stunning loafers!! I adore suede in terms of feel and texture but it can be quite impractical so I don’t buy too much of it. However the brand Saphir make a great protectant spray. I use it on all leathers but it’s especially handy for stain prevention on suede 👍🏼👍🏼
I only have one loafer, a bone Ferragamo with gold hardware. I lust after a mocha deerskin loafer from the British heritage brand Cheaney. Classy and classic paired with jeans, pants or skirts for fall and winter.
Currently my only pair of loafers is a chunky pair of Doc Martens in a wine gloss leather. They don’t have the yellow stitching so they read as more classic than Docs typically do so they are quite versatile for fall/winter but very heavy. I’m definitely going to add a black pair to my collection soon and maybe a taupe. I’m liking the brand Flattered which does lots of loafer styles and I see them on some of the Scandinavian influencers. Their shoes are fairly classic, made in Spain, good quality but not crazy expensive.

I’m debating on purchasing the Chanel Calfskin moccasins in black. They are very expensive and I worry they are so trendy, they’d only last a few years. But I love them :-)
I am always so excited for your fashion content. Our loafer collections look scarily similar 🙈. I have the Gucci Jordan and Princetown loafers, both in black, the Prada chunky loafers in black and brown, and the Bottega croc ones in black. I just got a slimmer pair of pale pink patent Prada loafers (small heel, crinkly patent, Mytheresa). I also have a white pair from Church, do not recommend, rock hard and need breaking in anew every year. So eyeing your YSL ones…..
wow love love the sound of your collection!! how do you like the bottega croc in terms of comfort? I did hear that Church’s footwear in general is super hard to break in but once you do persevere they supposedly get more comfortable 😅
@@ttsandra Thank you!! I really should get some more colour 😜. I find the Bottega crocs very comfortable indeed. I don't know how, but the leather manages to be pretty thick and durable while also being very soft and pliable. The sole is slightly padded. No blisters at all. Mine were from the first batch and they ran half a size large...I have 36.5 in the Prada and Gucci and 36 in Bottega. And I'll try to give the Church's a few more goes 😅.

What do you think about the Hermes Paris loafer? Also, not a loafer exactly, but what do you think about the Diorunit oxfords in blavk and white (yes, they're discontinued but they're soooo special)
Hermes loafers are hit or miss for me. I think that the subtle Kelly toggle on the Oz mule/Destin loafer is really chic. they also do some really fun colors in suede in their Paris loafer that feels fun and fresh. Haven’t ever seen a pair that made me go WOW though! the Dior oxfords are so fun, they remind me of something an ultimate British cool girl like Alexa Chung would wear 🔥 I find black and white shoes hard to style so I tend to stick to solid colors on my feet

Get the Saphir Super Invulner spray for them it will help them against staining! and then a suede brush to brush out any marks 👌🏼 will give you some added longevity
Love these types of videos because you have such a wearable editorial style! I have always loved the Gucci Princetown mules in the white or cream colour but just wish they had silver hardware as I rarely ever wear gold/brass hardware.
I am definitely a loafer person but I do not have designer ones like you do. I also do not like them too chunky because I have very thin legs and I don't feel they flatter me. I sure do wish those khaki green Chanel's fall out the sky for you though, they are gorgeous and my favorite green.
Hi Sandra, I love your videos because you remind me of myself BC (before children) :) Anyway, once upon a time when I worked as a corporate lawyer in an actual office, I also bought lust-worthy designer shoes. I would wear them a few times until the leather sole was slightly scuffed but then I would hightail it to my cobbler. I would get a TOPY sole applied (a thin rubber layer) to the front of the outsole. Do you ever do this? Besides making the shoes less slippery, I found that it’s life was astronomically increased (in fact I still own some of my designer boots that still fit… R&B Newbury, IM Dicker, Chloe Susanna). I also wouldn’t have heart palpitations if it started to rain a bit, as I knew the leather was protected. If anyone reading this does decide to do this, I recommend taking in a cheaper shoe first to vet workmanship :)
I use a waterproofing/stain protector spray but haven’t done the sole thing! I’ve only ever gotten shoes resoled at the cobbler but am definitely looking into the service you mentioned 😊😊😊
