I love these! Been playing for 2 years and never understood scaling. I used Decal Specialist when I hit the 33-40 floors. When I got there I had accumulated a lot of good decals I saved up. It my opinion that was the best time for that specialist since you don’t get the uncap options til endgame.

Only 8 decal slots? Looks like there's 9. Can the 9th one not be unlocked(yet)? I was hoping there'd be a bit more in depth details about how vitality works. Like, does it apply a modifier to defense, and how does it scale per point? And does it boost all your defenses, or only physical? Also, armor. If you're wearing an armor that's -13 to blunt dmg, Does just the armor take more dmg from blunt weapons, or you and the armor, or just you? And how does the mitigation (defense) stat on the armor, work in conjunction with the slashing, blunt, and piercing stats? Or is it like, if the armor has 1300 defense, and S=0/B=-13/P=0, then the 1300 defense would mitigate X amount of dmg per defense point, with a -013% to the 1300 defense when taking a hit from blunt weapons?
Yeah, they really didn't make it clear in the barbs bible but I think someone has probably experimented on how the numbers work. In my head the -13% means that whatever your armor value is, if you get damaged by that damage type, it's only going to be 13% less effective. So if you have 1000 armor value in total and you get hit by a blunt weapon, you will feel the damage as if you have only 870 armor. Not sure if I'm right but that's how I see it.
@@grimg7514 Makes sense. Yea, they weren't really clear about much in the default details.. Guess they figured the longer it takes people to figure stuff out, the more they'll dish on skulls..
Thank you for the explanation, you made a good video, but maybe you should increase the speed of the way you talk? I was watching on 1.5 speed and it was perfect, maybe that is the problem why people drop your videos in the middle? I am trying to find information about how exactly stats affect gameplay in late game, specifically if uncapping fighters (5 star) has point or not (does increasing a stat for 3-5 points make any difference?)
I was going slow because I wanted to be clear as possible. Also English is my 2nd language, good thing TH-cam has a speed option XD. As for your question, adding stats really have an impact when uncapping. You can check the average stat numbers per level after uncapping in the wiki.
