i’ve heard that some people can’t use their phone in their dreams but i have before. sometimes i get up, turn on my xbox and see the loading screen or i turn on my phone and text people. obviously it doesn’t transfer to real life. when i heard people saying electronics don’t work in real life i assumed they were referring to it not transferring into the real world but some people seem to not be able to use their phone in their dreams.
I am from Türkiye. We have a bad economy and at the same time we have almost the highest prices of apple products in the world (because of high taxes). As a result, when apple announces a new iphone we generally see it in our dreams.
My phone always seems to display some kind of mashup of old and current UI. Like a mix between touch screen phones currently and the old ones with buttons. Its bizarre. And im usually too irriated to figure it out and just give up trying to find something on it.
I have came here to say that I have never had a dream about my phone until just last night. I used my phone normally, and there was nothing different. I was even on messages and google. I looked something up on google and scrolled through the results. It wasn’t a lucid dream, I’ve never had a lucid dream before. I don’t understand how I finally had a dream with my phone in it. Maybe I bought the exclusive phone in dream pack or something.
It’s kind of unsatisfying of an answer. I assume it’s because we aren’t using our phones as much as looking through them and communicating through them. Like when I played video games, I dreamed I was in the video game. I never dreamed I was holding a controller playing video games.

I saw mine a few weeks ago. I was using google maps to navigate around.

I think it's because you can't read in dreams. You try and it makes you wake up.
