but why is alistar not being considered in the kraken slayer vs stormrazor equation? i saw a alistar so like u said it was kraken, but then u go stormrazor, any particular reason? thanks for the videos they are really helpful!!
I believe the reasoning could be that during his ult, Alistar barely takes any damage anyway, so you might as well want to build for damage on targets that are higher priority, or use the energized auto for kiting his combo. Don't take my word for it though, because I'm not a great player by any means.
@@ShinYamiZakura yeah i was thinking in the same way but also considering that alistar or thresh in teams are really not who a adc want to focus because of their lack of damage, my function as a adc is to damage who affects the team the most, so alistar or thresh will just be huge tanks that are the lowest priority of damage when it comes to teamfights, so he went kraken because they had a udry in the next game and he is tank that deals damage and turns the game upside down
Well, if the opponent comps are dive comp and prone to get busted, Storm razor with Rfc is your option to make you mobilized and keep your spacing away from them.
Both items work because they are strong and gold efficient, but Stormrazor gives that movement speed utility. And Kraken so gold efficient and good dps in long fights.
There was also the fact the enemy team was Aatrox + Alistar + Azir. She would never have uptime to freely hit the frontline of Alistar since the three could just dive into her and kill Jinx. It's better at that point to fight via evasion (SR, RFC) and poke out the enemy team.
hi Prof DDang, when do you base? There are situations where you don't have enough gold to purchase your item, but you are out of mana. Do you still base and purchase a (example) 500g item?
The problem with that is how you used your mana, if you burn all your mana it's bc u didn't manage it correctly, try looking at your vods to see where you waste and where you should keep your mana pool (my English it's very poor but I wish it helps)
i heard one guy recommend son euw chall otp jinx raken into runnans as must first 2 then ie >whatever you need. Thoughts on this? He said rfc not worth,jinx is aa champ so its pointless to go something like that on her when there is better option
Ddang often says that we tend to forget the separation between challengers and us mortals. Meaning often times a challenger player on stream/VODs will do something that isn't effective in lower elo since it's a different game. In this instance a challenger OTP is a player that deeply understands a character, down to every sentence in their QWER + passive. If you don't have that knowledge you might not be able to utilize the same build as effectively, so a different build could be optimal. That's why Ddang's advice is sometimes different than other top players, since he creates these videos with a lower elo player in mind. That said, you should try the EUW guy's build and see if it feels better to you! At the end of the day most of us aren't trying to go pro, we should just have fun with the game.
if the lane isnt interactive Ddang recommends potentially going cull, especially if it's a matchup where you should lose lane but outscale later and your opponent isn't correctly pressing their advantage
Cull slows down your first major item but speeds up your second since it effectively pays for itself once complete, but you also get +180g for selling it back + AD/sustain for laning.
3 casters can't be legitmately freezed, the best someone can do is slow push it for one, maybe two waves if uncontested on pushing, but it won't kill nearly as many opposing minions as a 4+ minion freeze would, which is a major goal of freezing in the first place.
