Thanks Jonny. Love that tune on the fiddle. Just beautiful. Same goes for these shells. They appear so tactile. I want to own them ..... But I'm not into heirlooms. I'm taking it all with me. Cheers Buddy.
Oh I love the idea of taking it all with us that would be nice. I do love the fiddle tune. I wish I was a better singer because it is such a heart tugging song. Take care.
Great review. I love the look of these. I have some copper shells, you get use to weight quick. For learning I would suggest Bob Sheets Bootcamp. These are going to be added to my collection. Thanks again Johnny.
Hello David. Thanks for the recommendation on Bob Sheets Bootcamp. I was not familiar with that so I will need to check it out. Thanks so much for being here.
I love my set of these wonderful shells! The use of walnut shells has been overdone in my opinion. These have the unusual shape of a tortoise shell, which is very unique. Like anything from TCC, the are wonderful to look at and feel great in the hand. Highly recommended from my point of view. Kudos to Jonny for the review and kudos to TCC for another superb product.
Thanks so much. I love that you mentioned the tortoise shell as I think it really sets them apart and TCC can be relied on for a high quality prop. Thanks so much Frank for adding the comment as I think it is really helpful for others. Thanks for being here and hope all is well in your neck of the woods.
Thanks for the review. I own the set, as well as a few others. The shells are a bit heavy, but for ne that isn't an issue. The balls supplied with this set are on the small side. Visually that takes away a bit from the routine. Regular size peas, on the other hand, do work perfectly with this set as well. Even for the grip that is specific to this set regular size peas will do the trick.
Hello Gert I couldn't agree more as it is related to the Pea size on these. I wish they were larger for the exact reason you mention that they could be easier to see for an audience. I like that they are a bright yellow and I think that helps but the red ones for the color change are not good for me as I use a red mat often times when I perform. I will likely look for a larger object resembling the pea. Thanks for being here and thanks for adding in the comments.
Thanks for the great review Jonny and hope you are well my friend!! I don't have a shell set and this looks really good. Thinking I might have to pull out the credit card for this !!
Hey David, Great to hear from you. Been thinking about you and hope our paths cross. Yes this may be worth pulling out that credit card. You may also look at an earlier release by TCC Magic a couple of years ago with Walnuts that looks similar. Either one is probably going to be worth it. Take care.
These are gorgeous enough to convince myself that I need ‘em. I’ll have to do some thinking about more effects. Maybe a starting point to go in another direction….” Turtles all the way down…” perhaps? Hope to see you soon. -bk
I have the TCC walnut ones from a few years ago. I like Lennart Green's presentation, so I think I have everything I need. It's a cool set though for sure, thanks for the review!
I do not have the earlier walnut version that TCC put out but they too look really nice. I will go check out Lennart Green's presentation. Thanks for being here. I hope you know I appreciate it.
Probably a good choice. I mean how many different types of the same prop do we need? Hope all is well in your neck of the woods and that family is doing ok. Take Care.
Lovely tune👌 Just watched David’s (Magicorthodoxy) review and noticed your review of this shell set. With you two recommending they are definitely on the order list.
Hello Jed. This release is one of my favorites of the year. I found the steals really easy to do with this set and I love the way they look and feel. Thanks for being here and wishing you a happy new year.

@@fiddlinjonny I do know it, thank you! I always look forward to your videos!
@@mathmusicstructure Thank You.
These look great, but I have a sterling silver set, so won't be picking these up.
