Great tips Robert! I don’t think I’ve ever used the paddles except to just reference one that’s close to an end or something. That’s pretty neat

Dude! Love this video. I tried it on some uneven scrap. Was ok. Then I did it for real on even wood. It was better. The 3rd attempt was like 98% there. but overall. I am very happy with the way the cab doors turned out. Thank you so much for teaching me/us how to use those paddles. Take care.

As a brand new domino owner, I would like a video on which size domino's are the most used as I am not buying the kit with all of them.

      I use 6x40 the most 80%, Then 8x40 18%, 10x50 2%

I don’t like these paddles on the df500, they sometimes get ‘stuck’ in a neighbouring hole and create a false reference if you miss this. Just made a table using 10mm sipo domino’s on 26mm wood (didn’t have 8mm sipo) were the underside of the paddles jammed everytime at the underside of a neighbouring hole. Had to start over because some post were protruding somewhat on one side. The pins on the df700 are much better. Just click them out of the way if you dont use them. I think the old version of the 500 had the same pins? Why use plastic anyway?

I hope that was just a sample kennel door, if not you didn't put the spindles in. Good tips though.

😂 I put the spindles in after assembly like balusters on a staircase
