So many people are sleeping on this amazing show! 86 is hands down one of the best war animes. And the OSTs are amazing! Sawano Hiroyuki and Kohta Yamamoto hit it out of the park with the soundtracks.

eighty six was that one war show i never knew I needed. its sad that just how so many people just ignored it amid the hype of shounen shows.
As a drummer I think you'll also enjoy "Hands Up to the Sky". It's also from the 86 sound track but has a much more complex percussion line.
I'll give it a listen in my free time but i can't really do much for videos on 86 without getting blocked in multiple countries 🙄

@@crossvoid557 if you read the subtitles of LilaS, you will also notice that every single lyrics represent everything happening at the meeting between them. about how Lena could not hold her tears and all. everytime listening to this song, i cry so hard

Masterpiece song on a masterpiece anime adapted from a masterpiece LN. Honestly, 86 is a solid 10/10 in my book
Omg this anime is just incredible and so moving, the production of the anime is insane, the staging, the dialogues, the symbolism, the characters and the music are just incredible.
This anime touched my heart.

@@DSiren Had to look up what that was because it didn't ring a bell. Apparently it's an actual munition? I think you have me mistaken with someone even remotely interested in guns/war etc. I don't watch series for that at all, even if it's a major focus in the dialogue I don't retain junk info like that haha
LilaS became my single most listened to Song in all of 2022 on Spotify. I've listened to it more than 350 times, most of which were on the day right after the last Episode of the Season dropped which ended on this new Ending Song.

Thank you for recognizing and honoring Sawano's capability on peaceful, melodious composing. It feels like most people do get impressed by his "loud/chaotic"(If I remember it correctly, it's his own comment on his music.) songs, yet there're lots of beautiful melodies Sawano has composed during his expressive career.
I've already seen some recommendations in previous comments, so I'll skip my part on that.😅

If your looking for another pretty Sawano song recommend "Aesthetic" from way before he became mainstream. Something to listen to while working out in a gym? Try "Uncontrollable" from xenoblade chronicles. Both bangers in their own right.

Usually I don't recommend watching/listening to lilas MV IF YOU DIDN'T WATCH 86 yet... coz its a SPOILER.. the first time i heard that song is the time the last episode of 86 release.. the song and the ending it will gonna hit you hard. well it does for me.. I cried.. like a child but not from sadness ... it's a emotional roller coaster..

@@CatharsisYT ohh so you already knew the ending before listening and watching the MV for Lilas. well I dont know for some other viewer though... 😅😅 coz spoilers kinda takes the magic of the story. I remember when they were still airing the episode and then bumps into some problems that the next episode will be in the next 3 months or so. and i've been wondering if lena was still alive in between those months coz they showed a lot of foreshadowing that she's gone. 😅😅😅 and i bought the novels though Im glad i bought the wrong volume 🤣 ends up the last volume I bought was as the same current episode before they announce they gonne release the next episode next year 🤣🤣 and decided just to wait it out. 🤣😅

If it's from 86 i probably can't. This video got heavily region restricted for that. Kodansha can be super weird about what they do and don't allow
the last 2 episodes of 86 was delayed for couple of months because of the production issues then this song Was released after the final episode was aired.
