I’m sorry to hear the sad news but I’m happy to hear you are staying a good course and keeping busy, as you stated 🙏 thank you for the kind comments and it’s good to hear from you! Merry Christmas to you as well and I hope you have a a blessed year in 2025. I’m here to talk along with many others as well if you need to. It definitely helps talking to the right people. More than anything, casting our cares upon the Lord, he cares for us. God bless you and I hope to stay in touch my friend!
After you saw the dump truck at the wood pile got you all fired up .i say yes to the stay warm with the wood program. You may have to wait 30 days to be paid once you get going it shouldn't be too bad .i hope you get your dump truck it will open up more ways to make money .god bless my friend.
@@joeyrector1015 Merry Christmas, Joey! Sounds like you have been getting it done if you’ve sold it all 👍 I’m glad to hear that! Do you have a good location for wood?
@@bluegrassoutdoors yes. I have a permit cut on national Forest. Plus there's a few people lets me cut on their land. I just haven't been able to cut anything in a few days because I've been sick. I'm better now so I can start back cutting again
I can see having a dump truck would definitely come in handy. The amount of wood you could get from one load and they load it for you. Dump a few loads every couple days on your property and then split it all up ...WOW.....that be sweet....Gald you all had a nice Christmas 🎄...wishing you and the family an awesome New Year's Dillon......👍🤙
Great video. You’re definitely not a slacker. I wish you had a vertical or horizontal splitter from one of the major brands on you tube. You are the type of person that could use one & appreciate it. I hope you always have the opportunity to get wood from this mill. Happy New Year to you & your family. Dave from Maine.👍
Ever since I been watching your videos I've been wanting a fiskars splitting axe. I got one with the 36" handle and I can't believe how good it is. Where my old axe would just stick, the fiskars splits in one hit and that's on shag bark hickory green. awesome axe no doubt the best.
I’m very happy to hear you enjoy it! I stand behind them stern because I’ve used them for around 6 years to split wood full time many of the winters and they are the best I’ve used yet. I’m reviewing the Adler now and I’m impressed with it, but can’t say that I believe it’s better than the fiskars. They are wonderful splitters for sure! I’ve seen people struggle with axes that aren’t meant for splitting and I’ve done it myself and once you use a good splitting axe like the fiskars it makes you realize how much easier and enjoyable splitting wood by hand can be! I hope it lasts you many years to come! 🪓👍🪵
Just keep in mind even with foam plates DOT will still mess with you because if you’re transporting the wooden you’re making money with the truck you’re actually in Converse if you just watch easier I paid 200 and something dollars a year get your DOT on there and go with it be legal be safe this guy just has not been caught yet but sooner later they will catch on and he will pay very steep fines cause you’re not supposed to be selling firewood with the farm tags it’s easier just apply for DOT number and pin UCR and you’re in your legal you already have a CDL you have nothing to worry about
That's great you and your family had a good Christmas. Heck yea if they will let you do delivery video, I am ok with that. Also, what is the name of the company and i can see if there is something like this here in Washington state. May God bless you and your family in 2025😉👍
I think I would stay with a smaller dump truck Dillon…….only because I think it would serve you better with delivery and would cost less to maintain and the fuel cost. That’s just me…….IMHO. Hard to dump in someone’s yard or backyard with a large dump truck……plus the weight might not be good for folk’s with asphalt or concrete driveways……they might not want a large dump on it. Just a few thoughts…….enjoyed the video 👍👏🙏🇺🇸 Rick
I've never been to a stave mill around here ( south eastern Ohio) but the log yards charge $ 40 a dump trailer load for white oak cut offs. I'd never leave that yard if it was near my house.
Merry Christmas. I Sold. all the wood That was seasoned. I do Have more wood Split and stack. But it's not ready I sell my firewood on Facebook. And quite a few of them Are repeat customers. I also have people from Facebook that bought for me.That added me on Facebook that way I Can message them when I have wood ready before I post it on Facebook.

Do you still drive semi trucks. And do you still drive for Roehl?
@@TheGemGaming19 I’m not with Roehl. I haven’t drove for awhile now.

I see you making those low carb meal choices in the beginning of the video.
Down 10 pounds in around 2 weeks so far. It works so well but it can be tough to stick to for me lol
How much do they charge for a pickup load?
We cut and split all our FIREWOOD and do it year round.
