Integra assemble, Part 6- Sound/Tuning

- So we get the Integra on the dyno.
It runs and sounds good. Everything works well with only one small issue. The BOV doesn't work quite, we think the new large line should fix it.
We did some runs and it's making 350whp on a pretty conservative tune. I think a little more tweaking it has a little more in it. We're not looking at a ton of power, so I think the numbers are fine.
Next we'll finish cleaning and dying the seats and start on the suspension etc.
This is exactly how I'd build my Integra. Street function, show clean, and track fast.
When I bought my 1992 Acura Integra GSR back in 2007, the previous owner threw in a set of one piece headlights. I enjoyed the yellow fog lights. Man my Integra was mint. It came with the arm rest that connected to the center console. You could open the arm rest for a little square storage area.

The sound of that exhaust is to die for. Aggressive tone, yet without any bad "side noises." You guys really nailed it with this one.

I wanted to give a special comment to George. Hey bro I see how hard you work and how humble you are. I'm sure John isn't the easiest boss to please "cause of his ocd" lol but you sure do a hell of a job trying too. You deserve a huge round of applause for your efforts and hard work you put into everything. This shop wouldn't be complete without you. I truly mean that. You are irreplaceable for sure. That's why John will not hire anyone else. HE CANT FIND ANOTHER YOU. I remember about a year or so back John saying that he is not really looking that hard to find a new worker but it's hard for him to hire people cause they just can't make the bill. John wants things done a certain way and he is very particular about who he hires. YOU ARE THE MAN GEORGE. Wouldn't be the same without ya. Love your dry humor too. Cracks me up. Great job all around you guys and keep the amazing videos coming. You both truly inspire/motivate me to do better and to make sure the little things are done correctly. DunDun Symanski Thanks for the comment! John isn’t hard to please at all! I just build things the way I would want them as we see eye too eye on most things. And as far as another hire I feel I would have to “interview” them as much as anyone here to make sure they fit with me too. It’s very family oriented here he even takes me to Vegas every year for the sema show! I couldn’t think of any other place I’d rather “work”.

I’m not even exaggerating but this is the best turbo B series Honda I’ve heard. It’s just loud and grunts enough to not be obnoxious, yet it sounds strong and refined too.

JDM front lights are the best looking Honda light design. So clean, simple and handsome design. That’s a museum, shelf art piece on my for me!

I’ll go me 3 on that but it’s never too late to turn things around. I was broke and homeless a couple years ago. Getting married in 3 weeks with a baby on the way and a proud homeowner working full time and trying to get my 99 hx done ;). Anything is possible !

I’ve converted a few Integra front ends and both of them had been bumped in shipping, if you tweak and tune on the bumper support it should even out the gap under the headlights. Absolutely amazing R81 DC2.

I had a 94 gsr with dc sports 4-2-1 headers and exhaust. It sounded very similar minus the turbo. Not racer, not overly loud. I absolutely loved the sound that thing made.

The headlights are so awesome. They are the icing on the cake but I would be a little afraid to expose them to the world because if their rarerity. I purchased a set of OEM CTR fog lights for my 98 EX years ago and it killed me when a rock shattered one of the lenses. The struggles of once being young and having the daily driver also being the project car. ☹️

OEM original GLASS jdm type r headlights?! Yea pretty penny for it, i see why your excited about it, im excited for you!! If the clips are still fine on the old ones you should try to save and salvage them as spares..sand them down with a fine light grit...maybe 1000grit or even a 1500 grit and clear them right after, they will be good as new assuming the clips are still intact...awesome content guys

not Type R headlights. The JDM ITR had HID headlights with circles around the projectors where the horizontal lines stopped.

I bought used jdm chrome housing for 280 now there more. Mine daily jdm lights are all faded now so I really appreciate those brand new jdm lights. There 9006 h3 fogs 194 and h1 highs

Lovely build, a perfect daily, a car that easly can make 400hp+ and I think the reliability would never be compromised. Would be nice if you do like a low boost config and high boost config. Like always amazing job!!!

Same here, but check out Ti cons website for the 3” mufflers alone. Deeeefinitely not cheap. LHT did an excellent execution on fabricating that titanium exhaust.

Damn, that does sound very good. Only thing i'm not fond of on 4cyl is how low and loud the tone is at idle/low rpm when they've got an aftermarket/custom exhaust.
