So they were more like the schools in Croydon, Hackney, and Shoreditch? Funny thing is with as big of a state as California is and with as much cultural variety as there is from a Modoc County in the NE corner down through the more conservative valley side or the more progressive coastal side communities I'm guessing you'll find teachers lounges where any or all of the above are being imbibed.

The point is not that we should let him live a little, the point is that the rest of the country (well most of us) didn't, and were following the rules, that they implemented. Is hypocrisy a sign of good government nowadays? Because people should live a little? Aside from hypocrisy, it's a clear sign that they are really, really, really out of touch with regular people...
