For me the JBL far surpassed the Vizio Elevate in theater sound. Yes, the vizio has more customization, but the overall sound quality for me was no where near the JBL.
Great review, your only one of the reviewers I see that actually does a sound test with movies, music and games in the video instead of just talking and stating your opinion and not letting us hear how it sounds. So great video and you got a new sub, keep up the good work bud.

Luckily, there are slots for USB micro connections on the remote speakers, which can be fed through chargers or battery packs. So it is kinda future use prove. I bought one 2days ago, and now it has caps to fit in the bar and the remote speakers.
If i buy this jbl 9.1 soundbar, i want to have the satellite speakers permanently mounted at the back. Its a bit of a hassle for me to plug it in the soundbar to charge. Is it okay to just permanently have those 2 speakers plugged in with lets say a smartphone fast charging adapter so i dont have to charge it daily? Or would that cause a problem with the speakers?
How is the surround speakers does ? is it good ? Can you able to clearly distinguish the surround sound from the detachable speakers , i am planning to buy this in upcoming weeks not sure about the surround clarity
I currently have the Z9f with the rear surrounds. It's ok. It this system had upward firing speakers or the ability to add some, it would be great. I have it in a small room i use for gaming and movies. It gets pretty loud and you can adjust the volume of the bar, rears, and sub woofer on the on screen menu

Good detailed info on soundbars, I'm still trying to see which one will work out best for me. Have you tried the nakamichi soundbar 7.2.4?
Can these two surrounds charge via cable as well? In one of the videos I have seen a hole for usb c but not sure.

The JBL was mediocre so if I had to pic I would say the Bose.
