Bro its not hard living in a hotel room, but the circumstances made it hard to focus on basketball. Plus team dynamics were all over the place. Players literally changed overnight in that environment so playing organised ball was more tricky than anticipated.

I don’t remember everything being open in the real world while the bubble was going. Some stuff was open but very limited and modified only out door seating and practicing social distancing.

As someone who lived through Melbourne lockdowns I can tell you guys with 100% certainty that it could have been a lot worse. We were confined to our homes for months on end only being allowed to go out to buy groceries and even then it had to be within 5 kms of the home. We weren’t allowed to visit friends, family, hell we couldn’t even be out past 9pm at night and was only allowed outside for 1 hr per day
