Personally I don't like the first bluish slide where you write the title and you start your introduction. You have the stats of your channel and if you find a lot of people are leaving just few seconds after launching the video, maybe this slide is the reason. Your videos are amazing.

I think that it makes it easier for him to keep track of presentations (from thumbnail preview both in explorer as well as maybe youtube) and also he need not prepare a separate thumnail for it this way. Maybe he has setup a script which does all this thing automatically for him.
Personally i dont think that people leave due to it. Just my views though.
