Thank you for this. It worked perfectly for me, though I had to trim a second time, being too conservative on the first cut. I was prepared to take pictures and go around in circles with SVI China, but this worked in a pinch. And I have to say I am frustrated with influencers who got the item for free and don't mention the very obvious arm issue right there on the screen. Also, the screw holes in the back are off, so you have to drill your own for some of them. They could have just had a snap attachment for the back so I don't have take out 10 screws every time I need to make an adjustment.
I did ask them and it seems the one they got wasn't as bad as the production units. So something between the testers and production is the problem. The screw holes in the back in the end I will come up with a magnetic solution to hold it in place. I already came out with a USB modification where it is powered via power bank.
I wonder how well light shines through the arms after making that cut? I also worry about the structural integrity when you remove that plastic end from the arm. I have o e and the spotlight inside is awesome, but mine also has that arm issue.
Its really solid before and after the cut.. As far as light you have to use LED tape into the arms. I already tried a light inside hi and he glows great but not the arms.
