Damn writers! We hate the way they needed to make Sam's character be insecure to make Jason come to save the day so she could feel better. These days from a strong female perspective Jason would have explained to Brenda who Sam was while their on the plane, so when she saw her in the apartment it would have been a lot less awkward for both of them. At least that woul have made Sam feel that Jason had her back. Also, the whole thing of jumping on a plane on a moment notice to protect Brenda, again from a strong female perspective, is beyond unbelievable and ridiculous. It is just unacceptable to keep renegotiating the terms of any relationship when only one side is always the one that gets to benefit from the sacrifices of the other. The writers are always allowing Sam to make all these concessions but we don't see Jason making sacrifices for Sam or their relationship. Why Brenda had to stay in Jason's PH? Why Jason didn't put Brenda in Sonny's old PH? or Why she couldn't stay in a safe house with bodyguards 24/7? That could been a nice compromise that Jason could have come up with for the well being of his relationship with Sam. However, that could have only be able to happen if the writers would have any idea of how the female brain works. It's now in 2019, that we have seen some self sacrifices on Jason's part and we are delighted about it. Finally, Jason have gotten to experience some of the heartache and sacrifices that Sam have had experienced herself throughout their entire history as a couple. Especially, in 2012 when she needed him the most during her pregnancy and Jason forgot all the promises he made to her, the love they shared and he allowed her to walk away after everything Franco did to her. His hate and vengeance were more important for Jason than the promises he made to Sam. For, we are glad that the writers took their time in getting them back together because Jason needed to learn but really learn from his past mistakes. His character needed to show real growth in terms of true appreciation for Sam. Jason needed to learn to stop taking Sam for granted, the kind of woman she is and the of kind love they shared. For, the task the writers have in front of them it is not an easy one both, Jason and Sam are beloved characters and deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. And, we the fans deserve the kind of writing that reflects the reality of our world but also that would help us improve it by echoing the right message and treatment towards all genders and all races. It's a soap opera.. there needs to always be a physical or emotional conflict, whether it's a character's insecurities or a damsel in distress, it does not matter. The writers write the way they do because they are trying to cater to fans and to keep interest for the show. This whole story arc with Brenda was a move to bring back fans. When writing the story with a nod to your idea of reality aligns with the interests of keeping the show on tv, then they will do so. Try not to break your neck when shaking your head at the tv.
Hope Brenda never comes back I cant stand her no offence. Loved Molly from she was young too bad she doesn't really have any scenes but hopefully she'll become a lawyer soon and pick up where her mom left off

Jason didn't mind her after the accident, but once sonny told Jason that she wore a wire Jason decided that was unforgivable and chose to not like her anymore as loyal to sonny! Over time he softened to her however and vice versa when sonny made Jason break off the wedding in his place she decided to hate him as much as she hated sonny! Then they were in the plane crash together and finally connected with each other for who they were and not what they thought about each other. Afterthe crash brenda even to Robin she would never like what Jason does but she butter understood why he did what he did and that they had a bee understanding of mutual respect for each other? Like she said in 2003 Jason is the only person who has never failed her which is actually Completely true!
