Yes. One glob of silicone adhesive is the correct method for lifting the specific piece to give it a three dimensional appearance. The cut edges must be shaded before adding the adhesive. It makes a world of difference . Thank you for replying to my comment. Dolores
That is really beautiful. Do you happen to have the instructions in English? Where did you get the picture of the flower you cut out? It looks like it is printed on thick paper. Was it a poster? :D
+Kelly Leake - Sorry but we don't have English translation for this tutorial. The video is very suggestive. Our next tutorials will have English subtitles :) if you enjoyed the video and want more content like this, subscribe to our channel. Thanks :) P.S.: This pattern is not produced any more . You left out one very important step. The edges of each cut piece must be shaded with a brown or black marker in order to give it true dimension. I have taught 3 Dimensional Decoupage for many years and that is how I do mine.
Since you say you have taught 3 dimensional Decoupage for years , can you please tell me if the reason why the glue in this video is added in one glob is because it drys hard and helps the leaves from flattening ? I've seen where some people use a piece of a tiny thick round cardboard to help hold up the leaves.
The NZ govt has said they have supported the deaf foundation by making available captioning in English....this makes a mockery of those that have disabilities no matter where they are!
So very beautiful! Cannot believe someone attempted to correct your rendition. Your piece speaks for itself.
IKR? You MUST apply shading--with a marker, no less. *eye roll*
Beautiful! ⚘️👌

Very beautiful work!!
Stunning! I wish that the pop up notes were in English.
OK :) Will try in future to have also in English :)
Were the pop out petals made of paper or were they some other material?
Beautiful work!! What is the round tool you have used?
It's called an embossing tool. I'm sure it'll be available on amazon.

It does NOT have to be shaded! Just because you choose to apply shading to your work doesn't mean everyone should.
BEAUTIFUL
