Btw, the lock in the fender vibrato is mainly ment to lock the vibrato when changing strings, si you can start of with new strings having the vibrato already set up.p, making it easier switching strings ..

I've been considering a tele cv for almost 2 years while waiting for the best time to purchase financially wise,
but now I feel like buying this one...
Quick question:
Do you think the Classic Vibe 70s ties the sound too much to a specific type of sound?
I've been playing songs mostly from The Strokes, Muse and Arctic Monkeys, and I try to get a similar sound signature without much of a success with my pathfinder 10 and a few cheap pedals.
I wonder if purchasing the Mustang GTX50 is a good move and if It's "safe" to use this guitar given my personal taste.

Oh dear, you won’t like my answer. I use plugins exclusively. All the noises you hear are the guitar played into Positive Grid’s BIAS FX software, which I think give the most realistic sounds for my needs. I’ve never been an amp guy as I don’t want to upset the neighbours! 👍

@@DarrenLockMusic I don't mind that answer one bit at all! For recording, I exclusively use amp sim/capture plugins and pedals myself, after having had less than optimal experiences with neighbors. :p
BIAS was actually the first plugin I tried on my ampless journey, and I never managed to get it sounding to my liking. But I was quite inexperienced with amp sims back then, and the sounds you're getting from it in this video are very nice.

Nope. The addition of the mustang bridge makes it perfect. For the money, no complaints other than the pickups lack a tiny little bit of presence, if you know what I mean!

something about jaguar or jazzmaster body shape ,im not playing a lot of jaguar ,but when you strum a chord ,usually you can feel the whole guitar body vibrant ,very clear and loud too compared other body shape ,maybe like hit right frequency make the whole guitar body ring or something, almost like sustain , yes some guitar do that too, but in jaguar or jazzmaster usually did that, not every single one ,i dont know other people , but to me but most of them did that in my limit experience ,so i wonder is because the body shape? bigger body more surface ,better for sonic transmit or something something ,thats one of reason i like jaguar and jazz master.

I think it’s the sympathetic vibrations from the tremolo system that adds that “zing” to the overall sound!

I think what you hear is the zing of the tremolo and othet metal parts (which makes them very noisy and difficult to record cleanly especially for heavy handed players). Regarding vibration transfer and resonnance they are supposed to be less vibrant than other types of guitars like strats, teles (because everything is top mounted on the body, no string through etc), and gibson types because of the bridge + tremolo design.

@@paressehylton i totally knew whats you mean because the tremolo make the zing sound , but i talking about is different thing, even hard tail jazzmaster or jaguar did that, whne strum a chord, just make whole body vibrant,like acoustically loud, even same model,some did some dont, like 10 tele, maybe 2 sounds like that, but 10 jaguar, maybe got 5,6 like that, but just in my limited experience of jaguar and jazzmaster style guitar, thats why i think jaguar style guitar it happened a lot , maybe totally by chance, did nothing about the body shape, i think firebird maybe did similar thing?never play a firebird, sorry for my poor english, hope you understand whats i mean, not every guitar when you strum a simple chord, make the whole guitar body vibrant and ring out like a acoustic guitar.
