The OnePlus 5 was announced in June of 2017 after skipping the One Plus 4. In this video I talk about why OnePlus decided to skip the One Plus four, and jump right to the OnePlus five. Also apple did a smart business move by removing the headphone jack as to get more money from third party sources and the headphone jack will more than likely disappear off phones and everything eventually because Bluetooth is getting so good and Bluetooth headphones are getting so cheap

I've discovered your channel randomly and decided to check out what were the results on the O+5 since I bought it when it came out. And the least I have to say is : it doesnt surprise me.
My phone fell while biking, and even on the motorcycle and doesn't have the slightest scratch. This thing even outlasted the cover I bought it, I mean the cover broke down last time I dropped it but the phone didn't get any scratch.
I wanna buy something new like the Fold4 but I fear it will break because, as you could see up there, I ain't kind of respectful when it comes to my phone.
Anyway, best 500€ I spent in my life, means by now this phone cost me less than 100€ per year and is still working perfectly fine, with no slows down whatsoever.

With cameras megapixels don't really mean as much as the average person would believe, it's just as much about the actual lens and with smartphones, the software.
Before I get called a "butt hurt apple fan boy" just know, I genuinely like this phone and I spend a lot of my time doing photography so I do know a small amount about cameras.

FFS all fucking smartphones (flagships) are copies of each other... Some shitty companies just dare to sell them $250€ more expensive while not even using better hardware. Not going to call out names, Samsung, Apple. 1+, Sams and Apple sell the same flagship phone with different software; only 2/3 dare to sell it at a price way too fucking high for what you get.
1+5 is only slightly better version of iphone. and reason for that is 3.5 hole in bottom of phone

Excellent testing on the OP5T. However, no drop or fall test. My OP5T slipped out of my hand, fell to the ground, on the ground, with the protective cape. Immediately it gained a black spot in the upper left corner (impact site). This stain, small at first, was enlarged throughout the day, and at dusk, the screen was all black, rendering any type of visualization impossible. Like it was a black ink spill. The touch still works, I can pick up calls, but the cell phone has become impractical. In Brazil, there is no technical assistance and inform us that the company does not sell spare parts. I am in a dead end, and I would like to understand what the solution is.
Are the rear cameras covered by sapphire like on the 3t? What level pick does that rear lens scratch at?

Astro Teller then say nothing and do your research first, all Sony flagships feature the best Qualcomm socs, all have front facing stereo speakers and the best audio streams and they are just as fast as other flagships etc. They only may be more fragile because they often use glass, that's why a bend test would be nice. But I've used my fair share of Sony phones too and only my z5's screen broke after dropping it on the same corner on concrete 5 times...
