im the exact same way when im forced to speak in my classes, & had a conference assessment. best advice is to just remind yourself before entering the class you know what you’re talking about, when you freeze up or start feeling nervous take a deep breath in and take an extra breath before breathing out - it reduces feeling stressed/anxious SO much. over preparing with cue cards also helped me because i could at least have a good memory of the content. i know its easier said than done but try and put it in your mind as its just a conversation & you arent being marked, putting additional pressure on yourself about grades etc will make you freeze for sure 🩷 u will be fine !!

Outward Bound - really great back and white film, it fits perfectly into the mythical archetype
What Dreams May Come - honestly not sure if it’s the best choice for a university film class, however it stars Robin Williams. Very nuanced, a lot to draw upon.
Always - just love this one. It stars Audrey Hepburn. The visuals and performances are lovely.
The way you're helping your prof (in the beginning) is actually really similar to how my research assistant position started out! Initially we were looking for contemporary examples of ancient myth, but we have moved on to modern receptions based on student and amateur videos!
