I’m still using mine. Works great. I just added the rice paper screen cover. My only complaint is battery life. Battery self drains over a few days to zero even when powered down.
@@dogbert1629yep. So true. I was replacing my broken apple magic keyboard for a 80$ aliexpress copy (with battery inside) and whao ! This device is really strong and cheap compared to the original version... ! It's make a huge difference...
still have mine, paired up with apple pencil gen2 and using it as a secondary workstation on the go.. works really great. didnt regret buying it 3yrs ago.
I got mine May of 21 and have used it almost daily. May upgrade to the new bigger size Air because I mainly use for just TH-cam and sports. 3 years of usage no issues at all great value
Still a great Ipad. As a power user who downgraded from the 12.9 M1 to this. It still runs perfect, and I'm a bit more limited to the 'power' work I used to do, but still a great ipad and apple pencil 2 still!
I've had my 64 GB Air 3 since 2020 and never had any storage problems. That said, I do a lot of my iPad work (Word, OneNote, Lightroom) in the cloud. Still though, the only way I could see storage being a problem is if you did a whole lot of media-related work locally.
I currently have the iPad Air 4th gen but my stupid @ss bought the 64gb back in 2021 and now I’m struggling with the storage! If only I had gotten more storage back then😭😭 my iPad Air works wonderfully besides the storage…..
its so good my only issue is the storage i got the 64 gb almost 3 years now and at this day and age its not really enough for someone like me who creates and consumes content
I got one from work this month. It was my old managers one with pencil and magic keyboard. I was surprised with how it does with simple task. Bought the same one for my wife (256gb) with the magic keyboard around $400. Thought it was a good deal as most ipad air 4th gens in my area (Arkansas) are still $350.
Still have the air 3 since it came out. Still works for what i need to do. But i cant wait for our company to finally make our app available on android. I hate the file management on ipados and i dont see them changing that anytime soon.
As someone who used both versons of the Apple Pencil we have to date, May 7th being just around the corner.... the 2nd gen is way better. The first is so much harder to have charged and ready to go, so it may be similar on paper device, but the 2nd gen fits typical usage better, because being snapped to the device it is always charged and ready. My experience of the first gen was that when I wanted to use the Pencil, I would find it was already flat, the window of drawing I might have might evaporate by the time I charged the pencil - I'd go as far as to say that the 2nd gen pencil is hugely usable and in practice, the first gen not so much.
I got mine for £270 in March last year second and it works perfectly fine, I did have a play around with the new iPad Pro m4 and I must say I’m a bit jealous as I want one but it’s not a must have as of yet, I’m hoping my air 4 lasts another 2/3 years.
Hope you enjoyed this one: Air 3 and 5 long-term reviews coming soon!

Do you keep it attached to the Magic Keyboard all the time? I find this makes a big difference to battery life.
@@dogbert1629mine does the same thing and I don’t own the magnetic keyboard.

So when your battery no longer functions on an electronic device, that's not "works great."

Just got mine for a good price. Works very well for school and photo editing does what I need to and specifically what I need it for

I also have pro m1 12.9 but why you downgraded and what made you to do so
Glad you agree but I'm also interested to hear why you downgraded lol. You sell/return the Pro to save money?
I regret having 128 gb on my IPad. Don't even dare too look at 64 gb I warn you

What if we use an external storage (ssd) for that

Got the 256GB last year. I just use mine for media consumption and reading mostly. I had a ipad mini 5 prior.
I purchased a 2nd hand iPad Air 4th gen WiFi 256gb with apple pencil 2 for $250? Was this a good purchase? Still has warranty until 01/2015

Please tell me was this a local market deal. I would love this deal

Is the air 5 worth it?
I got a video on that in the works but I'm waiting for the Air 6 to come out first! That's gonna affect how good the Air 5 is these days.
I wish i had one of those ipads😢

After updated iPad OS 17.6, I find it not as fluentcy as before, especially in some softwares. Now I have updated to 17.6.1, hope it can be better😭

what's a good budget alternative for the apple pencil?
Logitech Crayon

What does “consuming media’ mean? I understand, “consuming pancakes”. And what is “design language”?
