Toland the Shattered the enemy buff for Kiyohime’s stalking skill makes perfect since because she’s a yandere. Even if it’s just against someone who may harm you she’s stalking them, she’s being more aggressive (hence the defense debuff) and making her target more panicky and defensive in an aggressive way (hence the attack buff) yeah it sucks that it buffs the enemy but I like how it pretty much stays true to her character as a yandere

I don’t own Jalter myself, but I still got a lot from this guide. I like how straightforward it is while still going into detail about the more practical aspects. The closest I’ve come to seeing a format like this is TouhouSniper’s guides (and maybe Voice of Saint Quartz to a lesser extent), but your rapidfire deadpan humor and your own experiences with the JP version make yours stand on its own.
Great video as a whole, and I’m looking forward to seeing more from you.
This style is probably my favorite out of FGO TH-camrs. It’s not just a straight read of stats and about a minute of actual comp talk in the end. It allows people to see just how valuable a Servant can be in practice instead of just on paper.
Also for Ecchan’s third skill, how it works is...strange. Think of it more like dropping a Servant down a star absorption tier among their classes (Knights and Horseman mostly). Since you used it on an Assassin it would NORMALLY put it on par with Casters...but the number crunching is finicky and it doesn’t always work the way you expect sometimes. But hey FREE ATTACK BUFF FOR EVERYONE!

She’s been pretty fun use so far. I have her but she’s not leveled enough yet so I’ve been using supports. Also managed to get a 2030 so that was pretty convenient. Hans will definitely be seeing alot more use with her now. Maybe even Liz Caster. At least for Assassins. They should be making a shit ton of stars for her to use.
Also getting to actually listen to her voice it’s alot more cute than I thought it would be lol.

Great video, Fino. I like this style of servant guide the most. Well thought out, straight to the point without the unnecessary info any 5 y.o could google in a few seconds, and the visuals makes it easy to understand. You talked about what works and real application of the servant not just some hypothetical scenarios. For me, team building is half the fun so I'm really happy that you talked about it, especially because a big chunk of this video is team building, you can easily change the title with "Team Building with Jalter" lol. I also really enjoy the humor in this. You nailed it. Great job! Keep it up.

I’m zaruko and Matt on NA and JP btw. And I got Jalter in JP. She’s good but I primarily use her for nuking Berserkers.
I also recommend making a servant guide for ozymandias. He’s my husbando and easily one of the strongest servants in the entire game. Outside of the busted kings of Merlin, Lancelot Saber, Chloe and Raikou.
I also call for a Raikou guide too. She deserves it.

@Fino Plays, as someone who watches all of your event guides, I just have to say PLEASE do more servant guides as well. What you choose to focus on is basically perfect and a lot better than the usual reading off of every single one of the Servants' stats that you can easily look up with a wiki search. This is great and I wish I had had it with Cu Alter as well!
really like this format, the off the beaten path team comps you cover are neat, and the script light explanation just feels more natural and more enjoyable to watch
I am saving for mama as well. I’m relieved I didn’t have to whale for the first time for Jalter. I got her on my last 30 SQ out of my saved 180 and 30 Tickets.

Awesome video as usual! Format is great; really enjoyed the stats info while getting team comps. Saving for Mama Raikou are we? Truly a man of culture. I got lucky and pulled Jalter in ~120SQ and already have an NP3 Waver and 2 2030s so I will definitely be rolling for everyone's favorite Dick Wizard when he comes. In the mean time? I am gonna whale hard for Mama during Onigashima(and Lancer Mama eventually). Hoping for at least NP2/3. I'll NP5 her later down the road. Yes I'm a whale.

I've been running Jalter/Jack/Support Waver and it's been great in the Da Vinci event so far.

I also like Running MHX with a support Jalter because MHX being an Artoria, counts as Dragon, and granted, she doesn't have as much Crit star Generation as Jack, she still provides more Synergy due to also being Dragon type. Though with that said Shuten Doji will probably be better for that in the long run when she comes out
I have Jalter on FGO NA, my first main servant to boss battles, with Waver or Tamamo.
I got her earlier in game as I started this year, now it's all miserable and salty.
Just like you said I use her for farming with Artoria Pendragon or Elizabeth variants.
I'm Sorry, love the video, but you missed a very important team comp, the Dragon Slayer team comp. Jalter makes a great support for Sigfried, the strongest servant. When combined with St. George they unlock the full power of the legendary dragon slayer. This team comp compensates for Jalter's low hp and lets S̶u̶m̶a̶n̶a̶i̶ ̶c̶l̶e̶a̶r̶ ̶a̶ ̶w̶a̶v̶e̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶a̶d̶d̶s̶ ̶s̶o̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶J̶a̶l̶t̶e̶r̶ ̶c̶a̶n̶ ̶k̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶b̶o̶s̶s them take down most battles with ease. For this reason, I can't find myself clicking the like button and instead will have to go with an ambivalent thumb in the middle.

I was really lucky this month and March. Got her and nightingale so I'm gonna use those two and a supp waver with both supports with a 2030 and victor of the moon on Jeanne.
after around 230 SQ and 8 tickets I got Jalter, It also helped I got a bunch of event CEs (though self portraits are going to be a bitch though).

Saber og can actually good with jalter. With instinct and charisma, and with dragon attribute, she can be support as well and attacker for jalter team. Saber mystic code is good as well. With instinct, buster up, this can help to scale up the damage.
It is taking everything in me to not burn through all the quartz I have right now to try and get Jalter, because I am saving all that up for King Hassan and I'm pretty sure my luck won't be good enough to roll her with less than 100 quartz.

Fino I loved your guide it plays stuff straight without over emphasizing anything too much. A lot of other guides make her out to be the only choice but you do a good job making sure to focus on facts and how they relate to the gameplay. I was willing to whale hard for jalter until I got her off my first ticket roll. Now im saving for mama. Neither will ever be as fun as Okita though. Also, what do yo think about jalter, okita, mhx for a crit meme team? i tend to run two 2030 it seems to work out great and jalters charisma works on mhx making her np pretty damn strong even at lvl1.
That team is an interesting idea, but I feel like running Okita doesn't take full advantage of Jalter's dragon synergy. On that front, you may wanna look into someone like Summer Salter. Her kit works especially well with MHX.
Im using okita since i gailed her and alter MHX and Maid alter arent out yet . I'm a huge fan of joke characters (okita, nobu, and mhx) and im looking forward to alter MHX and Maid Alter.
Also I love you sense of humor in the FGO videos but that doesn't seem to show as much in you anime ones. Our tastes are completely different in anime though so it might be that. Either way your FGO stuff is pretty much the best stuff out there. Simple, quick, and to the point with accurate information and viable strats. If anything the team comp screen is heavy minimalist but could use maybe some textual context for whale vs non-whale options just having the non-whales in the back makes sense but could be confusing to new players who might not know who these guys are.
My anime stuff's pretty dry, especially the more heavily scripted videos. Been cracking more jokes recently, but the back catalog's mostly analytical.
I definitely agree that the team setup graphics could use some more info. I'll probably add CE recommendations and a budget setup.

Just want to ask if tamamo can take the place of waver so she helps np spam along with merlin while providing burst healing for the team. Great video as always, Fino! I hope you do more of these servant videos in the future like for Raikou and Shuten when they come out. :)
With a 2030 you could make the Tamamo/Jalter combo work, but it won't be a clean fit. The way I see it, using Tamamo effectively involves spamming arts chains, but that in turn gives you fewer chances to cash in on Jalter's buster-oriented damage. In other words, you'll take more damage from brawling and need the extra healing vs just killing enemies faster with Waver or Hans' buffs.
I see. As of now, I only have tamamo as my main support caster and I thought she can work with Jalter. Thanks for clearing the misconception for me! :D I'm looking forward to more future videos!

There is no "recommend" when it comes to Alt. Jeanne. She is a powerhouse, period.
I got her with a single ticket when I had no interest in her and ever since I never ever took her out of my party. She is a monster by herself but if you help her gather critical star then she will truly make everything disappear. And if that wasnt enough go take a look at her three skills that will put the fear of God in you.
