How do you even turn corners like that? Slightly keep tapping on the throttle? That's what I'm hearing. I like to try out someday on a track.
I bet the engines have so much torque if they just stuck on the throttle they'd just spin out......the only time you see them lay it on constantly is on the straights.....plus they're running centrifugal clutches as well......

How do they decide the position where each car start? Because it seems like the ones further in front have an advantage.
They do a qualifying sesion so before the race they do an open lap eatch and who can drive the fastest lap starts in front

Yes. High platform. Probably about 2 metres high that they stand on. If you've got good vision you can see the cars easily across the track.

Brings back memories off when I used too race,
It's all in the setup
I start off in FG ECO Trucks plastic running gear, which were a handful to race
Progressed to sportgt class and gradually upgraded from plastic to alloy running gear as cashed allowed
Shame I had to pack it in due to work commitments
Bloody good fun, even on a budget. enjoyed racing up and down the country.

How can you possibly see from that far away? How do you know when to turn?
The drivers stand on a raised 2 metre platform that is beside the track so can see all corners.

That's a good question, but one thing is for sure at this price point I would just go race shifter karts lol

There was an Alfa Romeo body and a Mondeo in that lot and one other I couldn't see.

No. These guys drive while standing on a platform about 4 to 5 metres up
Why do some people blip the throttle lots when exiting corners, wouldn't it be faster if you did a more smooth throttle control? I've never driven a nitro car before so idk, only driven electric cars.

What kind of top speed can these do about 50mph?
I think more like 70-80mph but I was told length of the straight on this track prevents them getting to that
@@EssentialRC the speed is about cc like a 32cc zenoah would go to 100mph but would take a while to get there vs a 26cc will do 80mph and rev to it alot quicker

They are standing on a raised platform so they can see across the whole track
I never actually raced "officially" just with some buddies in a parking lot but the one big thing I found? you don't look at the car either, you look ahead of the car you're driving, if you get stuck watching your car you won't get anywhere.....and yes, the drivers are on a raised platform.
