Yea I remember seeing it live when IMSA came down to long Beach even though it was only one mustang the sound pretty much drowned out every other Gt3 it was insane
It’s a weird one. The exhaust placement causes it to almost get louder as it moves away. So as it’s coming towards you it’s almost silent but then this massive explosion of sound happens.
Congratulations to this video! I see here a 24h fan with high dedication of documenting how it really is to be there. I had goose bumps all over my body when I heard the starting fanfare sound.... AWESOME!
@@GRamerDim Even the GT3 R can be louder. I've been to last year's Spa 24h and this thing was just screaming at you. Same model same car and so on. It's just the exhaust that makes the difference...
@@GRamerDim The 964 lmdh never existed but I think we got screwed by the YT algorithm that's treating every following answer to a comment on your answer as an answer to an answer made by somebody who was answering to the original comment 😂
I never actually understood the speed difference between the old GTE cars and these current GT3 cars but at Spa last years GTE pole was 4.5 seconds faster than this years GT3 pole, and at Le Mans its a much wider gap, i think its around a 9 second difference at Le Mans, at least for the pole, so the closing rate for the hypercars is probably twice as fast now, which is probably why we are seeing more accidents between hypercar and GT cars this year than in any previous year since 2021
As an American im definitely rooting for the Cadillac Hypercar teams and both the Corvette and Mustang GT3 teams, just so happens to be the three cars with the best sounds too 😊, theres definitely something there about American manufacturers using NA V8s, but with BOP i get confused, i know for cars with turbo engines they can just ajust the boost pressure, but with NA cars how do they ajust the horsepower? Like with an airflow restrictor like what NASCAR uses on the super speedway ovals, i believe its called a tapered spacer or something like that, NASCAR used to use these metal plates called restrictor plates but they haven't used those in years
Dude, that Mustang is so loud
I love it

2:15 I'm sorry but the sound of that Mustang among all these other amazing cars still stands out, it sounds fantastic.
It's insane how loud it is, the sound of it bounced off the walls and drowned everything else out.
15:36 the corvette sounds decently loud surprisingly. Nice!
yeah and it actually sounds much better than I thought

Your videos are really well produced. I love the pure sound and picture not involved with any music or so.
Keep it up!
oh yes
3:33 Mustang VS Cadi sound!!!

Excellente vidéo! On a carrément l'impression d'y être 👍🏽
J'adore le départ.
Manthey why you muffle the Porsche :(
It's not the RSR anymore but you're right, even the GT3 R can be louder than this.
@@lucvincentmetz8144 this IS the gt3r

it appears that the blue mustang was unmuffled.
