I love how Giselle is trying to not look at Robert at the beginning of the scene ether being shy or respectful or unsure of her emotions! Also I can't tell what she's feeling at 1:27 when she blinks a lot is she nervous or having strong emotions?

Gazelle acted sophisticated in this part as Nancy wanted to cut in the dance but you could tell Geazelle wanted to be with Robert and she looked unhappy as she was about to leave with Edward just saying
question. why was everyone else dressed the theme EXCEPT giselle? lmao i remember she went shopping for with the little girl but wouldnt she of all people dress the theme
great notice!! I think this movie wanted to make being a princess more realistic for young girls, and this was the cherry on top: you don’t need a big gown or long hair to find prince charming or be a princess! Trying to cut disney princess tropes was a theme throughout 😊
It was for symbolism purposes. Giselle at first is dressed in the traditional fairytale outfits whilst everyone else is in their realistic outfits (showing their mindsets Giselle thinks she's in a fairy tale still while everyone else was vice versa) However, at this point in the story Giselle is fully immersed in the realism of the world. The fact that everyone's outfits are the opposite of how they first started shows how much influence Giselle and the real world had on each other. Giselle also had an impact on Robert: supported by his singing to Giselle and outfit choice. But if u meant realistically well idk 😭😭😭
