I guess it's still a new concept to hear people mention a same sex partner in a game

I don't know why but I get some sort of satisfaction watching these bus sims and of course euro truck. I never knew I would enjoy these videos, let alone buy myself euro truck 2 and a steering wheel initially just for that. I usually would look at the title of a sim video and laugh at it, but now it's like I can't wait for the next one!

The number by the bar is the number of passengers that are willing to wait for the bus. Not how many routes you can add. It starts at 4 by default, but as you progress and successfully stop at the right bus stop. It gets tallied at the end of the run. If it’s very good, more people will wait for the bus at that stop.

I fully agree with your comments on the physics. They need to work on this, especially the "digital" braking and the quick steering.

This is what ETS2 Needs cities at larger scale not just Drop off points or the Industrial side of an city
33:00 You can switch between D and N while driving, just not switch to R obviously. But when switching from D to N, you just roll instead of stop

This looks like a game I like to play.......It has a bit of an economy happening, in combination with getting your own transport business... Maybe they can extend the game with city to city trips.. like hauling tourists.... or an international ride...
like squirrel said, they need analytics and like the guys below mentioned older buses. Even the old Merces can be added in for a realistic feeling. Maybe they could address the A.I behaviour with the Right-Hand rule. Also they should add A.I that doesn't give way to buses. Because let's be honest, people don't give way to buses.
I love watching this series, I have to say it might be your best one yet. Maybe except ETS2.

I like the idea of all these bus routes in that small circular area....walking isn't that scary. I know video games treat smaller areas as if they were much bigger...but sometimes its comical to me. The old saw mill ey? Last I heard there was a horrible accident that went down there.

This game is showing a lot of promise! But I think the priority road signs are often in the wrong place. They're supposed to be placed before junctions, not immediately after.
They should've put older MAN and Mercedes buses in so that you don't start with an expensive new one, but rather a cheap, older and noisy one
TBH, I do feel like, in the case of "our city is just starting public transit!", smaller buses would be used for a trial maybe? And why are there existing bus stops if there hasn't been public transit for so long?
I want American Bus Simulator 2018 - basically decade or more old clapped out minivans with wheelchair ramps grafted on, and cutaway body-on-frame van-based minibuses with wheelchair lifts would be what this city would be using, with maybe later adding "real" low-floor buses bought from some other transit authority.

About the D, N and R, actually while driving, the N could be activated when driving downhill for the bus to increase its speed especially it is equipped with a limitor. For the R, nope.
I think that's the gear selector. N is neutral, D is drive, R is reverse.
"Why would you press the stop request when we're so far from the stop?"
Trust me, people do that to me ALL THE TIME, usually with two busy junctions and a roundabout before the next stop 😂
Rather have this than idiots who literally press 1 meter before the stop.

The busdriver you've hired, can you see him / her driving through town? I've heard that players in the multiplayer mode can see each other. Would be nice if you could see the ai driving your buses.
Also, it would be nice if they also include some older buses, because they are relatively cheaper and less eco-friendly. A great starters bus. But they could be included with modding support. Scania, Volvo, DAF and such could be added then too.

This was the main problems i had with the last game, you hire more buses and you dont even see yout fleet when driving around the city.
Yes you do see them if you past them on a route you've assigned for them. As well as on mp also you see them, including any skins you've placed on their bus.
It's a real shame there's not like Alexandra Dennis Enviro 200/400s give it the English London bus feeling

Commuting to work every day in a Citaro K. It definitely can transport more than 28 people. But I guess the game doesn‘t account for people standing.

About the DNR keys Squirrel was talking about: On old buses you can press N while in driving mode, the bus just keeps rolling the streets. This usually brings to the bus's economy, for example it would exhort much less fuel if it runs down the hill in neutral. That's why most Omsi buses can actually do that, yet the newer buses like the Citaro or Lions City you just can't press N.Otherwise I love this game's graphics and maybe the bus as well. What Id like to be REMOVED from this are all this levels xp and money sort of things.. Thats why i luv Omsi I can drive all buses and maps whenever i please but here i only wait some hack

Surely modern buses (like cars) run more efficiently downhill while in gear.... The engine has to keep running, and in neutral, it'll have to do it by burning fuel. In gear, it can be turned by the buses momentum. Modern engines inject zero fuel while being pushed by the vehicle's momentum.
Well, I think the Maintenance does include the refueling.

For me there's no Bus Simulator that can bet what omsi gives you.
Do you know if that thing of having the dashboard and steering wheel view of the cockpit, but have the rearview mirrors float on the top corners of the screen without having to roll sideways the camara, can be done on the PS4 version of the game, and how? and If the Thurstmaster T80 is or not supported by the game o just the Logitech G29? Since those are the ones I'm considering on getting for I/m still using the PS4 controller.

I want an honest answer, so I'm asking you Squirrel. In a game like this or ETS2 do you have to reset your Track-IR head position often or rarely. How stable is it. Love your series.
Well I’m not Squirrel, but as far as head tracking stability in ETS2 and ATS, I usually only have need to reset the position at the beginning of a play session. Sometimes my neck will get stiff if I play for long periods of time so I will then change how I hold my head and reset the position again.

U like this game eh.....after your series with this good game, check "civilization vi" it's a strategy game n basically a simulation of being an ruler of a country I strongly suggest looking it up before buying, just that I would enjoy seeing your gameplay videos n the game.
