The resale value is relative to the market and inflation cost over time. Just because it is 2k today does not mean the price is going to still be there in five years. By 2027 these bags will probably cost close to 3k so for anyone interested go ahead and purchase for the current price. Keep the bag long enough and you will be able to resale for at your cost value or above. I had a cosmetic pouch that was $175 original and just got $300 for it because the brand new cosmetic pouches are $575.
Love this explanation Tiffany! I've been thinking of putting out a video specifically to address how these price increases are affecting mindsets, and you've definitely captured some of the points I wanted to cover in a wonderful way.
I use the LYXBAG as a work bag and have had no issues. It's a comfortable bag, has lots of room, and doesn't lose its shape. That being said, I also take care of all my bags and don't carry water bottles, pens, keys, or anything that could damage the interior.
the LYXBAG would be super cute during the fall with a nude or tan or even tonal outfit! i’m thinking a tan wool coat with that bag!!

You can absolutely wash the inside of the bag. Inside out. Warm water + Down dish soap + soft brush. Spilled coffe comes out in 10min. I reccomend you wash the whole inside so one side is not cleaner than the other. And then just hang it inside out hanging on a warm day outside. Make sure it's not on direct sunlight.
Hi Gurkovche! Thank you for the suggestion, I actually tried that already several times and washed the whole bag but it didn't work unfortunately 😭
I spilled a whole cup of coffee inside the bag driving. I came home, put bag inside out, soaked the entire bag immediately in dawn dish soap and hot water for 5 min, then scrubbed with a brush, soak, scrub until everything came out. Then I used a hair blow dryer on the bag (to avoid water residues when it air drys). The bag is as good as new.

If you use a mix of folex and water those coffee stains would be gone. It works on old stains so well!
MM was 870, and GM was 930 in 2010. And then it went up like 60 every year. 😂 My 2011 GM was my first LV. I remember it was around 1400ish and you could customize it around 2016, and boom it is now 2k+.
I still remember back then when I purchased it, it felt so expensive and that the prices couldn't go any higher. But you end up realizing the prices just never stop increasing on these luxury products.

I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 one LYXBAG Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym

They should definitely allow you to try this on in store. Before you buy, really think about what you want to fit in there to maximize the use out of it, especially if this is your first luxury bag and try it in different colors and patterns. The largest item you need to fit is often your laptop so it doesn't hurt to bring it to the store to make sure it fits. Good luck on your decision! @@StylemeWorthit Thank you for this advice. I keep hearing how so many people have this bag so I'm thinking of getting the Speedy B 25 or the Pouchette Accessoire (I had the fake one as a preteen). I just can't believe how much the prices has gone up. Now I feel rushed to buy all the LV bags I really like because I won't be able to afford them (I can barely afford now). ladies and gents, do not buy canvas products from LV. canvas does not last for too long, I cannot say for bags, but i own many pairs of shoes from LV, the canvas ones already started breaking down. for 1000 dollars worth of shoes, i expect more. genuine leather for the win!!!
Its crazy that i bought the GM for 680€ in 2016 and its now over 2000! Crazy!

Hii I'm looking to buy a bag for myself. Actually, I love the look of this bag but it kills me that it doesn't have a zipper! For the exact same reasons you mentioned. Is there an alternative model/brand that you'd recommend?
Hi Amanda! I know exactly what you mean about the zipper. If you love the design of this bag you could potentially get a bag organizer that zips up (I covered that in my bag organizer video). Are you looking for something specifically from LV or a different brand? If you want LV the only one I can see that might work is the city steamer and grand Palais. Outside of that I’m considering the medium Givenchy Antigona soft tote. Still searching for a good one though and I’m sure I’ll post a video when I find another work bag.
Longchamp canvas tote have zipper, I see a few people comparing it with LV neverfull. You should take a look at it.
I bought my first never-full mm in 2021 for £1080 and now I’ve just bought my second never-full mm for £1410 in the uk the gm is only £40 more then the mm 😳
I brought mine in 2016 and it use to be £710 and it still looks brand new (DE PRINT). 🎉
Got mine 7 years ago and it’s not worth it unless buying preowned

I just purchased my first LV azure. Is the canvas supposed to be darker tinted in person. Looking at reviews it always looks brighter white but mine looks darker. What are your thoughts?
That's not too unusual from my experience Tiffany! I do find that in person for my bag, the white has a slight yellow tinge and is not pure white. Since I'm sitting in front of a big source of natural light, it appears lighter. I do find it does have a tendency to discolor over time, so if you're not careful and don't like the tone, I don't suggest you keep it. I wouldn't buy another LV bag in the Azure print because of that and because in my opinion you can see the age of the bag with this material much more than the Damier Ebene print. Just some food for thought, I hope this helps!

Hi, is that laptop a 16”? It fits in MM? Im contemplating between the MM and GM
This should definitely be able to fit a 16” laptop, though it makes the opening slightly narrower and elongated. If you’re looking to compare, best thing to do is to try them in store. Consider what you normally would want to use it for and get the size that fits that. I didn’t buy GM because I didn’t need the space and I don’t like the look of such an oversized bag on me.

Why haven't you tried Shout for the coffee stains? It removed almost all for a smooth cotton shirt I had trouble getting the stains out from for months.

Hi K B! I haven't run into an issue with my handles yet, but my suggestion is to either go in store to see what they can do for a repair or go to your shoe/leather shop. Depending on the severity of the wear and tear you are experiencing will determine the price. Let me know if you tried this or learned any other tricks that would be helpful for others to know!
