I agree with comments. Thank you for the detail to and from the train station, crossroads etc. Great footage for visitors to comfortably want to explore the area on foot.
    Much appreciated.

Nice trip down memory lane,i lived of Bondi Road in the late 1980,s for a couple of years .The only places i could recall were the Waverly sport ground and further down the road the Royal Hotel.I couldent remember hardly anything at all about Bondi Junction. Its still a beautifull place though and i look back fondly at my time there every now and then .Thanks for posting the video

Hi! Thank you for this beautiful Video! As I mentioned in one of my earlier commentaries, I lived in Bondi Junction for some time in the early 70s. But I hardly recognize this place in your video. It has changed so profoundly! All these high-rise-buildings in the center of the suburb are new, and there wasn’t a train station at all. And Oxford Street was open to traffic and the Einfeld Drive didn’t exist then. But just a little outside the center, where the little terrace houses line Bondi Road, things get familiar. And then comes the intersection of Bondi Road and Paul Street! I lived in Paul Street 27, which was a boarding house in those days. When I look at Google Maps Street View, the house still exists, but it doesn’t look like a boardinghouse anymore. Anyway, at one corner of the intersection there’s now a „Bioliving“ shop. In my days there was a convenience shop run by a Chinese, that I frequented quite often. And of course I went down Bondi Road to the Beach a lot of times. There too, many changes have taken place, but in a more subtle way, it seems. And luckily the marvellous beach is still the same.
Well, I’m really thankful for this Video, that brought so many memories back to me of those happy years I spent in Australia and in Sydney.
