For an example engineering කරන අපිට prerequisites විදියට තියෙන්න ඕනේ engineering mechanics වගේ subjects තියෙන්නේ 6ත් සෙම් එකේ, material science, strength of materials, mechanics of machinery, machine design කෙරුවටත් පස්සේ...
තාම results පිළිවෙලකට release කරන්න system එකක් නෑ හැබැයි...
Cupiri Study Area එකක් තියනවා, ලගදී අලුත්වැඩියා කරලා AC එහෙම හයි කළා. හැබැයි ළමයි ඒව දාගෙන පාඩම් කරද්දී securityලා ඇවිත් වහල යනවා...
ලමයිගේ ආරක්ෂාව අංක 1. Bar code සිස්ටම් එකක් තියනවා... එක මාරු... Engineering students ලා විදියට theoritical knowledge එකක් curriculum එකෙන් යම්කිසි මට්ටමකට තියනවා, හැබැයි practical knowledge එක සෑහෙන්න අඩුයි... තියන ටිකත් අපි self study කරපුව... මං දන්නේ නෑ 2nd year mechatronics කරන undergraduate කෙනෙක්ට design project එකකට අනිත් campus වල දෙන්නෙත් arduino එකක් use කරලා line follower robot කෙනෙක් හදන්නද කියලා, 6 වසරේ පොඩි උනුත් දැන් ඒව දන්නවා...
දැනට ඇති වගේ, තව ඔන්නම් මේ comment එකට reply එකක් දාන්න...
ඔය තමන්ගේ experience එක ගැන හොඳ කියන අයියල දෙන්නට කියක් දුන්නද කියලා දන්නේ නෑ හැබැයි...

මේක 100% ක් ඇත්ත. Lectures වලිං 65%ක් විතර online තියන්නෙ. Campus එකේ ඉන්න කොට online lecture යන්න තැනක් නෑ. Lecture room එකකට ගියොත් marshalල ඇවිත් යන්න කියනව. curriculum එකට එයාලට කැමති කැමති ඒවා දාල උගන්නන්නෙ. අපිට කලින් batch එකට වෙනම එකක්. අපිට වෙනම එකක්. අපිට පල්ලෙහා එවුංට වෙනම එකක්. අලුතෙන් ආපු එවුංට වෙනමම එකක්.
මේක ඇත්ත. හැබැයි අනිත් එව්වට සාපේක්ෂව මට SLTC හොදයි. මොකද මගේ යාලූවෝ ඉන්නවා SLIIT එකේ CINEC එකේ ඉගෙනගන්න , උන් මට වඩා දුකක් විදිනවා. Fee එකක් පරක්කූ වුනත් penalty , අලුතෙන් ආපු VC මොකක් හරි කරන බවක් පේනවා. ඔය කියන වෙනස්කම් ටික වුනොත් ඇත්තටම SLTC හොදයි.

For those who planning to be an Engineer in Sri Lanka
Sri Lankan Engineering education is governed by the Washington Accord, not by UGC. UGC approval means nothing. BTW, This is recognised and not approved🙂 . To practice as an engineer and to be a chartered engineer, you must have an associate membership from the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka(aka IESL). So for that, you should have a Washington-accredited BSc degree in Sri Lanka. Btec in the sense, is not an engineer but a technologist. Nangila Mallila, don't believe these thieves.
Do not know about other universities but SLTC BTech(Hons) Electronics graduates working as Engineers/Associate Engineers to reputed companies.Also they can move to overseas and do higher studies in Engineering field.

That's truly illegal. A technologist can't use the designation 'Eng.' Actually not even a technologist. A technologist should have IIESL registration(NDT and HNDE people can get this). For every professional career, there is a governing body in Sri Lanka, such as SLMC, IESL, etc. If someone says that he/she is a Doctor, ask him for his SLMC membership number, likewise, if someone says he is an engineer, ask him for his IESL membership number(ask at least the Engineering Council registration number). I think you have a lack of knowledge about the field. How do u put a seal and sign on a document without an engineer licence? No way little man.
In addition, Let's say I own a private medical hospital and hire a BSc. Nursing degree holder for a doctor post. Is it legal??
Of course Higher Studies opportunities are available, even if you don't have a good GPA and your dad is f**king rich.
I know many friends of mine who got degrees from this cheap quality campus(most of them had very low GPAs BTW - we do not know the quality of their education as well) and they tell everywhere what this campus looks like. All of them are doing non-engineering-related jobs for low salaries now. Actually they regret it!!!

I don't recommend this university at all. This is a desperate effort to cover up their lack of enrollments on degree programs recently. They spend tons of money to promote the shithole while the real inside problems are there for a quite some time. Their administration is a total failure and they cant even release exam results (they too are not accurate) on time and also it takes ages get a transcript of the module you have done and most of the time it also consist of lot of careless mistakes.
If you randomly inquire about university life of the SLTC from a final year student, you can get an idea how agonising is this experience. The 2nd year, 3rd year students are desperately trying to show that it is a fine space, but trust me coming new people doesnt change anything at all.Most of the people are from the government scholarship scheme because nobody want to pay and get educated on such a loose institute.
If you are pursuing a career in Engineering field, FOR GOD'S SAKE PLEASE JOIN WITH SLIIT...dont come to this shithole and suffer.
PS:Even this freaking video is a fake one....most of the people on this video are the teaching assistants, and graduated people acting as students😂😂SALLI DUNNA KYLA HEMA REDDAMA PROMOTE KRNNA EPA!!
