Hey Cruisers, In this video we take a look at the food on MSC Seaside. On our recent MSC Seaside cruise we had some great dining experiences, and we'll give you a look at some of the terrific food in this brief slideshow. You'll see food from the MSC Yacht Club, Butcher's Cut, Teppanyaki, the main dining room (MDR), and Ocean Cay.

The butcher's cut brunch didn't look worth the extra charge being honest 😯
There are some restaurants that are ok and not really worth the extra money. I honestly prefer the main dining hall.

I have to say, all these dishes look a tad... Pedestrian and unimpressive. :/
Also, are you sure that's filet mignon? (4:30) It certainly doesn't LOOK like filet mignon...
I love your vlog. Your presentations are well thought out and impeccable, and the camera work is excellent. I'm certainly glad the food was better than it looks. Smallish "tail on" shrimp, messy overdressed salads, watery-looking rissoto, and overly, darkly fried breading was not appealing. Portions looked smallish, and a brown smear on a plate is not always appetizing. Once again, love your work and glad you enjoyed it more than I did looking at it. Such a beautiful ship. But after NCL, Princess, Royal Caribbean, and even Carnival (love Guy's) MSC will need to step this up.
Champagne with chocolate bubbles? I would so try that, it looks interesting!

Pretty basic to us! If we do MSC, it will only be in the Yacht Club. Much of the Entrees shown, are standard vendor sourced fare from the likes of Sysco/US Foods etc. I suggest you Try Oceania, to experience true fine dining at sea. Even the buffet has most items prepared to order. I suggest you view a couple of videos from PAX on this line! I'm a part owner of a large food service co(catering)& we do it all. From standard fare(like here) to Caviar & Prime Filet Mignon!
Your video was very nice. I am a foodie and this looked very comparable to NCL. I know a lot about italian food. The plates in many of your photos were dirty and not presented very nicely, the quality looked ehh. I've never traveled with RCL but I have several times with Princess & Carnival and both of them are REALLY good! My food experience with NCL was terrible.

The deserts look delicious. How did your son like the change in menu? My nephew says that he's tired of kid's menus, too bland, so maybe different is good.
He did, but he's a pretty adventurous eater.

Yes, generally they can.
The food presentation is rather bad, considering it is supposed to be top class. MSC won't get me on board if their fine dining looks like that

Great explanation by you but the presentation looks cheap and nothing special at all.
You eat a ton of salmon.....the rest of the food didn't look good at all....the desserts looked good though.
Desert looked better than they tasted.not much variety.gelato was great though.i got 2 a day.
Their best food is their most Italian food. They're an Italian cruise line and I honestly think they do much better with their Italian options.
