The girl in the Noxus cinematic becomes a card in Legends of Runeterra, called Trifarian Gloryseeker.
Noxus has many warbands (they are an expansionist empire) and the Trifarians are like elite fighters.

@@HannaHsOverInvested I find there's a certain element of tragedy to the card, given the context of the short, though. The Trifarian Gloryseeker has a very high attack stat, effectively no health, and the ability to force an opponent into combat with her. Essentially, the purpose of the Trifarian Gloryseeker is to have her die for you...

Since no one’s really talking about the Ionia video, I’ll shed some insight.
As of this point in the video, Shen and Akali are both members of a group known as the Kinkou Order who are the keepers of balance between the material and spirit worlds. Shen is the de-facto leader and is known as the Eye of Twilight while Akali succeeded her mother in becoming the Fist of Shadow. There is a third member who isn’t shown, a yordle named Kennen, the Heart of the Storm. Together they’re supposed to work together in order to uphold the balance between realms.
However, Shen, like his father the former Eye of Twilight, exercises restraint above all, only stepping in to intervene when there is too much of an imbalance. It’s partly why he was willing to let the guardian tree kill the kid as that act would return balance to the land (he also very likely knew Akali would be able to find an alternate way at any rate which is why he called it a test.)
The issue is that Shen values too much restraint and when the second Noxian invasion occurs (much after the events of this video), Akali abandons the order in favor of proactively defending the land rather than reactively.
In Noxus cinematic that big guy who stepped on the head is Captain Farron who originally from Zaun. In Nuxus everyone can be respected if they are stronger or smarter

Noxus is sort of meritocracy ruled by a triumvirate each member representing one of the most prized virtues which are Might, Guile and Vision. Darius the guy with axe is representation of Might and commander of the most elite Legion of the Empire.
Well to be fair there is some corruption in Noxus that grey the line with meritocracy (Leblanc and her order for example and Swain is pretty much the de facto dictator). But Noxus is really the most fascinating "Evil Coded" nation in almost all fantasy. They also got that little Communist feel to it but are still in the end Warmongery and cause most problem in runettera(mainly constant invasion).

He keeps the Black Rose in check, since he's also LeBlanc's lover, according to a Rioter Q&A.

Noxus respects strength in all forms, the three leaders represent the three old tribes and the three core strengths.
The vision of the Noxidi (Swain), the might of the Noxkri (Darius), the guile of the Noxtali (Unknown)...[heh, it's 100% LeBlanc]
If you are a merchant, strength to you would be your ability to sell and your connections, a soldiers strength is their physical prowess, a politician's strength is their ability to reason and convince, a writer's strength is their creativity and the way they weave words to tell a story. No matter what your profession as long as you have the strength to excell you are pretty much welcome in noxus.

@@chrishaven1489 after rechecking the lore, you have a point, it seems they replaced tha unnamed pale woman to the faceless with an unknown features and gender so let's say 50/50 with leblanc and du coteau. the black rose is still 100% leblanc and the kicker would be if du coteau is also leblanc...which really wouldnt be a stretch

Yordles are an exaggeration of the area they live in. Poppy is a white knight to beat all other white knights. Heimerdinger is a mad scientist to shame all mad scientists. Vex is an emo teen from spooky ghost Shadow Isles.
...and Kled is a drunken hallucinating constantly fighting glory seeking hillbilly who considers everything his property. Yeah, checks out.
I was really curious to see what you'd think being exposed to content and characters you've seen from Arcane in other media. Jinx is definitely portrayed more fun-loving and wacky. I'd recommend the "Welcome Aboard" Odyssey Animated Trailer if you want to see more of her in that light. A bit of a pallet cleanser in a way. :P

Nice reactions. I like your takes on the second two. Many people disparage Heimerdinger for 'stealing' Ekko's idea when that isn't the point. It's about how innovation is built on the backs of previous works. Just like you said, it took all three inventors to get to the end result.
But for the next video, there is a fourth tales of Runeterra that isn't on the list for some reason. It's for Shurima, so if you please, add it to the next video and do four to finish off the region introduction series.

There is a similar video to this one for Targon too. The launch trailer for the Targon region in the card game. But Targon also got a Tales of Runeterra while Shurima did not. You could save those two videos for a separate third video since you have already filmed. If so I'd recommend Targon Call of the Mountain trailer followed by Shurima: Descent into the tomb, Shurima: Rise of the Ascended, and ending on the Empires of the Ascended I linked above. That would make for a thematically linked set of reactions.

Jinx is a fan favorite character so I feel like most treated her as the main focus in Arcane, it's interesting to know you got enough hate about that opinion to be notable, though no matter what opinion anyone has I guess there always going to be people to complain about it.
Facts
So generally speaking these Tales of Runeterra were released to advertise their card game "Legends of Runeterra".
The girl from the Noxus cinematic is a card there, as is the hoverboard dude from the Piltover and Zaun cinematic!

Noxus, is a Conquer Empire, they are Ruled by three Heads, The one that has the Axe, is Darios, The Pillar of Strength in Noxus, one of the Heads that Rule Noxus. Noxus it's Also Invading, Freljord, Ionia, Shurima and Demacia, to conquerer those lands. The first Video, of Ionia, that land has a lot of Magical content, the land itself hurts you when you hurt the land, people there respect the nature, and the nature respect them back.
It invaded Ionia actually when it had a different king, it was then that Darius his brother Draven Swain Kayn and Riven fought under a fascist state that they hated and it was the that they used that chemical weapon Singed made to wipe out Master yi's village. When Swain murdered Darkwill (former king of Noxus) Darius accepted his new leader and it was this moment that he became the Hand of Noxus. Also Swain withdrew all the soldiers from Ionia because he didn't like what was happening there instead he focused on waging war in Demacia a fascist state that prisons and executes mages and Freijlord a kingdom full of political corruption. So Noxus isn't the bad guy here
@@asdf9277 yes! I tried to synthesize the whole story, yes it was after the dead of noxus ruler, that Swain, Darios and the other not mentioned women, became the trinity, the 3 pillars of Noxus, to prevent the Black Rose from Manipulation.

Ionia is probably the only Runeterra regional culture that can be considered "good" in the traditional sense. Every other region has a description of "it has some really nice things going for it, but too bad about the complete chaos / oppression / down right atrocities".

Noxus was originally created as the evil counterpart to Demacia because of it's a conquering empire,but over time it has become a coin toss between which is more evil, Demacia or Noxus. Demacia has it's racism against mages and complete hypocrisy when it comes to actually applying that rule,since there exist high ranking mages in Demacia protected by their ties to the kingdom but in Noxus no matter you gender,race,sexuality etc, if you're powerful enough to earn something or to earn a position,you will earn it. The evil part about Noxus is that it's a conquering empire that never stops trying to expand

-Told her to stay behind so she is safe and doesn't possibly die with them while trying to rescue Vander from a monster who painted the Lanes red with blood of one of her father figures and enforcers, where even not aiding enforcers can get you beaten up or killed.
-Distanced herself because after trauma of HAVING HER WHOLE FAMILY SLAUGHTERED AS THEY WERE GETTING AWAY SAFELY AND NOT EVEN SCRATCHED BUT POWDER SLAUGHTERED ALL OF THEM BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T LISTEN TO VI she lashed out emotionally, you know, a 14 yo girl, and she tried to take breather so she can talk to Powder like she should talk to her, and be a mature sister WHEN SHE IS FCKING 14 AND JUST SEEN HER WHOLE FAMILY BE SLAUGHTERED IN FRONT OF HER EYES and she got kidnapped by a cop, to be trapped in prison where she was brutally beaten up to the point it became a part of her daily routine, and how she just wanted to be over with it.
- After escaping the prison, she immediately starts looking for Jinx and finds her, and gets kidnapped again

I don't remember were I heard it, but I think it's more accurate to think that power reveals who people really could be, and just aren't because they lack the power to be.
That is, people could be tyrants, fools, indifferent, do gooders etc. But we only can grasp the true extent of these characteristics when people have the power to not need to keep them in check.
Darius (the guy with the axe) is from Noxus, they believe that the strongest deserve to live and everyone contributes to the Empire. It was initially created by the one and only Mordekaiser started that belief as he was too angry to stay dead, so he came back and every soul he takes from defeated enemies become apart of his army, even the weak souls are used as the foundation of his empire, but Noxus are trying to become strong enough to prevent Morde's return. Noxus's core belief is created by the very being that they're trying to prevent from returning. The Iron Revenant.
If Arcane does continue, the Noxus story line most likely won't mention Morde, but damn they better have hints to him.
I was super stoked to see your opinion on the Noxian one. It's absolutely my favorite as well; being able to portray the 'bad guys' in a way that make them at least understandable is difficult. Moustache twirling villains are fun and all, but a villain with some depth and motivations that make you realize what you said ("that would be a hard proposition to turn down...").
It's a goofy game but good writing is still good writing.
If you haven't watched yet, I recommend "as we fall" music video tells the origin story of a champion named Varus. song and concept is just awesome as usual :)

The slave girl in the end is seen at the end of the music video of "Breathe" from Legends of Runeterra.
The genius of Riots writers. If you watch the other Legends of Runeterra video. With Temo, Tristana, and Lulu. Corky flies to Piltover to look for unidentified boggies. And you can see them flying around in the air. But he misses them. The boggies in the video is the rocket launcher that Jinx made in this video.

what i like about the world of Runeterra is that there is no real enemy. the player/ watcher himself can decide you they like and sympathize or identify with.

every single one of these events are in the same timeline (one exception being arcane) 1000+ years after the rune wars (the one himerdinger talked about) in runeterra years are separated into BN AND AN (before and after noxus was founded) here are the current threats to this world
the void: (the purple hexcore stuff) before the world came to be aka the big bang in the darkness lied the watchers who want to kill everyone so they can return to their slumber
mordekiser: the iron revenant. an ancient warlord before noxus who enslaved killed and conquered almost the entire planet. when he died he was so disappointed and mad that there was no after life THAT HE CREATED ONE and became the lord of the dead. so now he wants to come back to runeterra.
darkin: immortal god warriors who fought the void but got corrupted by it (kinda what's happening to viktor- i think) and after their leader died (AZIR NOW REINCARNATED) they became warlords and their power was so huge actual gods had to trap them inside their own weapons. now 3 of them have managed to find a host body
thresh: you've seen his trailer just watched 'the ruined king game opening' and thats how shadow iels came to be
sylas and the mage rebellion: (warriors cinematic) so demacia was so scared after the rune wars that they literally hunt/torture and kill mages in their kingdom now thanks to sylas they are fighting back... its a genocide no other way to put it lol

The girl in the noxus cinematic becomes a little more important as her story progresses in the card game.
They completely changed the characterization and personalities of Heimerdinger, Jinx and Ekko between that Legends of Runeterra trailer and Arcane.
Heimerdinger is exited over dangerously fun technology that's powered by Hextech and literally fell into his lap. Jinx is a known problem that does destructive hijinks mostly because it is funny to her. Ekko is in the same world where Jinx blows up stuff in Piltover, yet still lives on his own as a poor but creative and hearty teen in a scrapyard. And he hasn't got a hoverboard yet.

Noxus is very individualistic, expansive, militaristic etc. They used to be portrayed as the bad guys but they're complex because everyone is useful in their society in someway and accepted and respected for it. So they don't discriminate etc. Power must be earned through competence, but if you're competent (no matter in what) you'll be rewarded for it. In some ways it's the ideal libertarian society. Outsiders of course only see the militaristic part. (I kind of have an idealistic crush on Noxus)
If you're interested, there is a channel called Skin Spotlights that showcases the things characters say to each other in the actual game. For example, there's a video for Ekko that includes the things he has to say to the characters that appeared in Arcane, but there's also videos for most of the other characters as well. There are also videos showing off characters' "skins", which are cosmetic items that alter their appearance and sometimes give them brand new dialogue. These are usually pretty fun to hear in my opinion since they put a new spin on characters we already know
I love Captain Farron (the big guy) he is an amazing character with great potential. He also makes an appearance in the Guardians of the Ancient cinematic, you should check it out. I really hope that one day Benn Farron will become a champion..
The guy with the axe was darius, a general and 1 of the 3 leaders of noxus, he's in charge at the whole military of noxus, after the tyrant emperor of noxus killed, they established the TRIFARIX council that have 3 leaders because they believe that noxus shouldn't be ruled by 1 selfish tyrant emperor, they knew noxus was gonna fall due to wrong decisions of the tyrant emperor, the TRIFARIX also no longer have slaves because they now treats every noxians equal, there were reasons why noxus conquer lands like noxus have a dead land that never had a growing plants. They conquer lands not because they want to but they need to just to keep their region alive.
Eh I don't think they are expanding because they are trying to save anyone. It's just a way of justifying their actions. They were given another layer so they are not shallow. Noxus is a warmonger nation but they have equality. Being with them or against them is justified either way.

the guy with the axe is Darius, an orphan who grew in noxus to become the pillar of might, anyone in noxus can rise to power, it all depends on how much do you fight to get it, so yeah, the idea is great, but noxus thanks to that is a dangerous place where the brute and the savages abuse of those who cant get things for themselves, Darius has a brother, who created a side of the culture called "the reckoning" he was just an executioner, but he wanted fame, so he started letting the prisioners run before throwing axes at them, it became so famous in fact, that coliseums were build to make a show out the executions, where noxus policy of "win your might" lives strongest, as prisioners fight for their lives against the executioners

As a player of League ever since the beta release in 2009, I remember when Jinx was released. Such a hype for me, as Attack Damage Carry (Jinx' primary role) was my main role at the time.
Seeing Arcane now in 2021 had me in tears.
As for the girl in the Noxian vid, she is known as the Trifarian Gloryseeker and has, as of yet, nothing more to her name than 1 card in Legends of Runeterra.
Seems to be some buzz around the forums to give her more of a story though, which I would reckon isn't totally unlikely given the feature in the animated short.
Noxus and Ionia are probably my favorite factions, Noxus is generally viewed as evil for their actions, they are a warlike country constantly expanding. Although its not out of need for resources, its because they are so successful and they massively dislike people who are weak, but not just weak physically but people who are corrupt, cowardly, or despotic as well. They view their invasions as freedom from their weak leaders. And Ionia (the asian styled country) is kind of the opposite, they are usually viewed as good, but they stood by and did nothing as people died in other countries surrounding them, and when Noxus arrived on their borders they finally had to reap what they sowed by doing nothing. the whole conflict in the Yasuo story you watched was started because Yasuo wanted to go and fight to help people, but they elders he swore to defend said he had to stay and complete his duty. its an interesting contrast.
5 Month late , but Noxus absolutely expands out of need , as their lands are absolutely terrible for any kind of agriculture or trying to breed cows , sheep and so on.
Noxus also doesn't mind nor goes after the weak , as Darius reprimands some of his own units in LoR by saying 'We don't target the weak , you cur' , which makes sense , as Noxus only beheads Royalty and leaves anyone else alive and fine.
Ionia is viewed as good because people don't read its lore , they are exterminating the Vastaya to harvest them for their magic , hence the Xayah and Rakan cinematic. Not good guys by any measure.
The promise of Noxus' ideals is very seductive. They believe they are a Meritocracy, and there are basically three ways of demonstrating that Merit: Might, Guile, and Vision. Might being strength of arms, Guile broadly encompasses magic and to some extent economics, and Vision is basically their politics.
Their current dictator, Jericho Swain, is kinda the best. He's one of these great anti-villains, willing to do the terrible things necessary to prevent the even pre terrible thing only he an foresee kind of deal
The actual phrase of "power corrupts" is that the LOVE of Power corrupts.
There have been a number of powerful people that did not lose themselves to it, but those that Love power will often sacrifice others for it, whether their welfare, relationships, or their lives.
I don't think it's because there is a player/non gamer divide in terms of opinion of Jinx, but rather that your emotional connection to her changes your opinion on the other characters choices and opinions. Such as saying the kidnapping of Vi is her abandoning Powder again, while you know what happened in that alley, it is still an abandonment because, as you say, it is from Powder's perspective to a degree and as such your reactions are painted through her eyes in a way.
What I think may have happened is that there are people who were either more impartial to the characters direction of growth, people who enjoyed watching Powders fall to the dark side or people who were more sympathetic to other characters who took issue with some of your points in the reactions

I can see how some people have mix opinions of jinx depending on how they know her, league of legends characters know jinx as what you see now, and anything that happens in arcane is just always going to result in this so we base it on that outcome. It is like knowing the ending but still enjoying the entire journey.
The focus of the ionia short is to show their philosophy of life, balance with nature, shen and akali represent the three aspects of the kinkou (a lot of threes in runeterra) akali prunes the tree, she seeks what cause unbalance and stop it, shen sees the bigger picture first (tracing the stars) the last one is coursing the sun, which is kennen
Noxus and demacia as foils of each other, neither is as good as it looks or as bad, each has its issues, noxus cares too much about power and can be so ruthless, but it gives a chance to everyone, demacia have a lot of care for its citizens but also a lot of hate against mages
Noxus is like a Spartan empire. They value strength over heirlooms. They are conquerors and wants to dispose kings to give back the power to the people under the Noxus banner and their military discipline.
The man with an axe is Darius, a high commander on their armies (there are many, like Mel's mother... a warlord). He grew on slums and was very poor, but his strenght made him worth to rise to his current position. The ex-slave girl is not in League of Legends game. She is on the cardgame thou.
Unlike Spartans however, they don't attack nor punish the weak , they leave survivors , accept surrenders.
Also , Darius is a member of the Trifarix , along with leading the Trifarian Legion.
Shen is one of my favorite character and one of the strongest accorging to League of Legends lore as well. Would love a tv series based on him, Akali and Ionia.
There are other Legends of Runeterra Trailers btw, I especially suggest to check the animated ones for set releases since they present a story.

Idk if anyone said this but the girl in the last trailer is card in game called trifairen glory seeker ( so long story short the trifairen legion is the elite army in noxus run by Darius, the guy with the axe so she had a pretty good life to say the least)
The thing i like about Runeterra It's every region has good and bad points and problems out and inside. Demacia, for exemple, is a Arthurian place, Full of proud and honorable Knights, who is all about unity and courage. BUT, they hate Magic and have inquisitor to Hunt people born with magic.
NOXUS, in other Hand, is a imperialist, expansionist, belic nation. Ruthless, cunning and strong. BUT 100% inclusive. If you swear loyalty to Noxus and is good in what you do, you are welcome. The big Guy with the Axe, Darius, he was a street urchin. And after his city being dominate, he ended in the army and ranking up to 1 of the 3 nation's leaders.
I remember when I first read up on Noxus and swain I fell in love, it's not a perfect kingdom but they want you to grow and succeed cause ur success is Noxus's success and I just love that a poor kid can become someone with a voice if they work for it

I’ve been waiting to se the Noxus here. It really shows the morally grey area so many of these people occupy.
Ok so Ionia is a land that's literally alive in a way (as you saw with the guardian) but also there another champ in game that when he cut down an even more important tree he got turned into one, ivern. They also have a huge balance theme as shen(male ninja) is called the eye of twilight in represent the balance between the two realms (spirit and physical though there is more than two realms when you count the realm of the aspects where the Romeo and Juliet couple went, death realm where lol's second biggest bad is aka mordkizer which personality is noxus that didn't give up when they died and the void the realm before the beginning of time which holds the real big bad called the watchers {basically lovecraftian beings}). While the female ninja is Akali and use to represent the physical world until noxus invaded causing her to move away from the order due to their in action in her eyes. There's also kennen a yordal ninja who represent the spiritual side (yordals are more spiritual the physical even though they have a body it made up of a more magical nature (at least in lore I don't know if they kept it in arcane but it would make sense why heimer doesn't worry about his age/time as yordals are immortal due to this).
Noxus is an expansionist empire, it can be very brutal... but it's also meritocracy... as long as you have something of worth, you can rise. It doesn't need to be in terms of literal strength of fighting skill, artistry and craftsmanship are valuable as well as intelligence etc.
That's both the beauty and horror of Noxus: it takes whatever may be of use to the empire... so in some ways, it's a huge melting pot... but it only keeps what is valuable/has worth to the empire. In a story, we see a village being conquered and absorbed into Noxus... the fields that used to be used for dyes became used instead to grow medicinal herbs to support their ongoing expansion in that area.
The people used to be renown for their incredible masonry skills, but it was mainly purely for artistic purposes. When absorbed into Noxus, their masonry became more utilitarian focused (still beautiful though).
Anyone can rise... but at the same time, everyone is just another cog being turned and ground under the weight of the empire to keep it functioning.

Mel and her Mother are also from Noxus. Red is a very noticeable color in all their legions.
Arcane hasn't yet reached the present time in League, so we still have to witness Jinx full on snapping and two of the characters being the way League players know them
Jinx became Jinx we knows. But now the other characters have to get there as we know them form League. I think that in S2 we will gona see how Vi became Piltover Enforcer and how Caitlyn became sheriff such as Victor and others you know. Also I think we will gonna see Noxus because of Mel's mother. Anyway I would like to see Akali or Xayah in that show but it will probably never happen 😢😃
People think of Jinx as a villian!? She is a loony toon for sure but she is a victim. One hell of a hard life spliced together with tragedy and turned into a shimmer enhanced Frankenstein further destroying her mind. Jinx was my favorite character with Silco a close second, two beautifully tragic and forever complex people who where created by their unfortunate circumstances.

noxus gets put in a bad spot light SO OFTEN so the runeterra trailer was great because it's one of few positive portrayals. They want everyone working toward the same goal, where your effort is rewarded and it's just nice to see it happen
Hi, I love all the reactions you've done! You've covered a lot of the league/Arcane Content already, so I think it's finally time that we can recommend reacting to Necrits League Lore video. It's a great summarization of the setting of Runeterra, without spoiling any of the current stories playing out in-Universe. And before Arcane starts again, it would be nice to see this!
thats why arcane was so good. jinx is a real person (and all other characters) in the tv-show. I love how they took the lore and some chaRACTERS and built a real STORY, not just an adaption. the game is not arcane : ) luckily (and vica versa)

We dont get much on Girll from last cinematc about Noxus. We only have one card from LOR(card game) that resembles her extremly so propably they are the same person for 95%. Card gives us info that she(if it is her) joined Trifarian Legion(they are this biggest and most strongerst fighters in noxus military, they are a legion let by Darius The Hand of Noxus, one of 3 current leaders in Noxus Empire, The guy with Axe that killed king and was speking whole time)
Right now Noxus Empire is ruled by Trifarx, 3 'people'(it is unsure what one of them is but propably just human, but also there isint any rule that says Yordle or Minotaur or anything cant be one of them) who represents one of 3 major strengs:
- might(reprrsented by Darius, guy with big as axe in video)
- vision/Farsightedness (represented by Jerycho Swain, Grand general that comands Raum, Demon of Secrets who is everywere as Ravens that feest on knowlage of the dying making demon and Swain one of most intelegent humane beings on planet)
- guile( represented by Faceless, we dont know any thing about her/him/it/them, just that they are into sneaky assasins shit)
Noxus it self is Empire that lives by counquest and war. They praise strong and despise weak but not in phisical way, more of a strengh of your spirit or how strong is your will to fight and help Noxus become even stronger, you can weak in terms of your body but if you have talent that Empire can use and exploit to gain power, you should find a way...or at least thats daddys Swain dream of Noxus that he pushes forward (we all know what humans do and how they are).
In realty Noxus is gigantic, dark Empire were you have to be realy good at something to mean shit, otherwise Noxus will feast on your weaknes and exploit you to the end (and I dont mean death because recent expantion in card game Revealed that in noxus there is legion made out of zombies). But there are also good sides because Noxus is one of most tolerant places in Runntera, they dont care about your species, race, gender, belives or wealth. If you can be usefull to Empire, you will find your place. (you still might be bullied by higher ups, but you can just grow in strengh to be higher then the and put an end to it)
Okay, you talking about how Game fans are introduced to these characters differently to how you were introduced to them in Arcane
And it's funny because the current lore attached to the champs is rather mismatched
Vi's current bigraphy makes no mention of a sister, she was a ruffian who saved some miners with some gauntlets the leader of a rival gang used. Then she beat up that rival gang, and "disappeared" during a time of "great upheaval". Later reappearing already an adult working with Caitlyn.
Jayce and Viktor didn't meet at his demolished workspace and didn't become friends when Jayce was about to jump. They apparently met at a party and became friends there. And Jayce was not sponsored by the Kirammans, he was sponsored by the Gioparas
Admittedly, they're very very old champions anyway. So of course they don't match well.
Jinx was released about 2 years before they started work for Arcane so her story fits better than the others.
Arcane is kind of like, tentatively soft canon I think at the moment.
It's understandable. But Riot is still notoriously bad at uh, keeping everything up to date basically.
Especially now that they've decided to make even more games that uses the same universe
So they have like 3 different games, with mismatched versions of different characters.
With more games to come, and Arcane of top of that.

Yeah the thing to understand about Noxus is that they very much are an expansionist empire which fully believes in "Might makes right" and you don't deserve any help unless you fight for it, one way or another. With that said, the citizens of Noxus are, by virtue of the expansionist empire, very diverse and people enjoy a modicum of equality under it's rule.
Darius is the leader of the Trifarians, an elite army representing the strongest and finest warriors from Noxus. The massive guy with the armor goes by Captain Farron (A card in the Legends of Runeterra game). An interesting bunch!

I actually 100% agree with your opinion on jinx, Even being introduced to her way back in 2013. Hopefully there are happier times for her in season 2.
I guess a thing to point out would be is that arcane tries to stay very true to the lore. But the original LoL lore for Jinx,Vi,Cait,Heimer,Echo Was normally not more then a page long. So Arcane definitely added some more (story) to there story. And I think it turned out fantastic. Arcane definitely drew inspiration even from this one short animation.
If I am correct though even in the game. the tales of "arcane" are now the new cannon.
The these one was also a tales of runeterra one, just not a legends of runeterra one, but its the same like the yordles one
I honestly think that Jinx in these cinematics is not the bad one. The bad one is in the Arcane. It is sad what happened to her in Arcane. If things would have turned other direction she might have been good, but things sadly didn't. In these cinematics Jinx in my opinion is prankster not a evil person.
I don’t know if you’ve heard or not but there’s a book called Realms of Runeterra that’s a companion to league of legends, that details the various factions of the game world, complete with short-stories, history/current events, and philosophy/culture. I think that given the amount of videos you’ve watched for league, you would like it.
That chick is a card in LoR. I definitely like that while Demacia is usually presented as paragons of good and Noxus as evil, it's more about clash of ideologies than pure good/bad. Demacians are Kayle-worshipping, dogmatic religious nutjobs who enslave and torture mages (and SORT OF for a good reason due to the knowledge of Rune Wars) which eventually leads to best boy Sylas' uprising (lightly touched on by Warriors cinematic). On the other hand, Noxian promise of achievement and power means nothing because you will always be servants under Swain and LeBlanc. I think that Ionia is probably the most "good" region of Runeterra.
Except people can ascend from nothing into the Trifarix. Darius was a poor-as-dirt kid from Basilich , who had ascended to General by the time Darkwill was deposed. Swain was a disgraced cripple , and the Faceless belongs to the Assassin Guilds , who were almost all either deleted from existance by Swain , or severely cut down to reduce their power.
So no , you wouldn't be servant to anyone or anything in Noxus. Especially since Slavery was abolished by Imperial Decree.

Unfortunately there is not more about the Noxian Slave girl (as far as I know), although, would love to see her added to the game at some point to counter Fiora (Demacian Fencer)
