I just wanted to say yes and amen to not worrying about selling and markets. I have a testimony to that end. Our family moved to the country from our small town in April. Houses are not selling well in that small town right now. We had ONE couple look at our home, that felt pretty discouraging to me...But wouldn't you know, that one couple bought our home in town. Just the other day, I was talking to a friend who's brother-in-law owns a house on our old street. His house is STILL on the market even though it was listed almost a year BEFORE we even thought of moving. God provides!
Now costs have come down but availability an issue. Have you looked into modular kit homes that can be moved ? That next plan sounds very wise and you can have a place that feels like home and not just making do
I am pleased that the girls are going to get their own room. A 15-year-old young woman shouldn't have to share a room with all those boys. Privacy is important for kids as well
Homesteading is a different way of life and it is beautiful, in pioneer times the homes were even smaller some of them and they made do until they were able to move forward with any plans to upgrade. I enjoy Jason and Julie's channel.

Though it’s legal to marry at 18, just from a physically development reason, I think marriage shouldn’t be allowed until age 20. If a pregnancy occurs before age 20, girls have to take extra supplements because they are not finished with their physical development into an adult woman. I was merely commenting that homesteading pre 1900, boys and girls sharing a room in a loft would not include young women as marriage happened earlier and it was not always to an older man. And, if it did the loft would be divided.
This seems like an excellent solution for your immediate needs especially with the growing family; I can imagine at times you must feel like you are tripping over each other. I hope the right property/course of action becomes apparent soon, it always takes its own good time then happens all at once x

Your kids will not be happier with a bigger house, and at some time things will change. You'll either find be led to another property or the number of kids in your tiny house will be stable or declining. And if you decide to grow old together in the tiny house, you'll be happy with all the memories and not a big house to clean and maintain 😊

That sounds like a great idea! My husband wants to build a big house here, but again, gonna be pricey with the cost of everything. My thought would be to just add a bedroom on to our house and then it would be fine for years.

If there is time and extra material should add a little more room onto the well house for your food and animal food since you have limited room already and the family growing and guests. Just and idea.
Instead of central heat and air have you thought about mini split units? I live in a tiny house and I have 2 mini splits that are 110. That work fantastic! My old house I put 2 big ones in an add- on and it was 220 electric.

Sounds like you have thought of almost everything, But I have noticed that there isnt a second way out of the up stairs. If there were a fire..... what If, Our home burnt in 95 I was so thankful for the second way out of the up stairs.
My husband works an hour from home. And he says almost every day… “Living here and raising our kids here, is worth it.” Also, we bought in this crazy market.
Hey since u had a boy, you can put him in with the next youngest and then when u have a couple more girls, just stack them in with you on toddler bunks. Yes I think ur having 2 more girl babies 😁- not right this second, no lol but easily have at least a couple more. Older kids grow more too and leave 😞 Enjoy ur days as a full house mama, they end too soon!
I think this is a great idea for now. I pray that God will continue to guide you in the right direction. It might be a good idea to get an electric fence for the cows like a lot of farms have.
Believe it or not we do have them in electric fencing with a really hot charger. 😳 It’s been quite a learning experience! They’re not as foolproof as we’d hoped
You for sure need lots more room. The idea of moving to property with a big house would be desirable move. You will need more room than a bedroom.Your big kids need there own privacy. I hope you will find a bigger place with more than one bathrooms. Your entire family would benefit. Good luck

There’s an upstairs window (currently with an AC unit in it) that also can be a fire escape. So sorry to hear of your house fire! 💗
