    I have a TH-cam channel called, N.Ga. Mine freaks where we go into some of these mines. You should not post locations of abandoned mines on the internet for everyone to see. I NEVER POST LOCATIONS ANYWHERE ONLINE. There are a lot of inexperienced people and kids who have no idea what they are getting into when they go into these mines. You may be held responsible for the information that you are posting. Some of these mines are more dangerous than caves. I get kids constantly wanting information on my channel and want give it to them, but now you've posted it for everyone to see.

      You're absolutely right, im in Covington and I'll tell you the saying "you'll find gold where you look " is 100% accurate. The recognized gold belt is far broader and longer than any authority would care for common people to know. And fortunately for such authority common people are stupid and couldn't identify natural gold ore if it fell in their lap.. alluvial gold is the form most likely to be discovered and is much more difficult to collect and monetize effectively

    My biggest question is this, since you actually have to own the land in Georgia in order to stake a claim oh, and most of us really don't have the money laying around or the financing that would go into this, what rivers can we Prospect gold from. I would travel to Georgia from Tennessee once I move there, I guess I would have to map the rivers myself

    • @believeroftheword4627
      @believeroftheword4627 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@meettheworld6241 there is a place called Red Bluff in Marion county near the Louisiana border. It's also known as the "Mississippi Grand Canyon". My husband and I have successfully panned in the stream at the bottom of the trench. We found more gems like garnets and crystals than gold, but we did have flakes in the pan. Supposedly, the gold in Mississippi is carried downstream from gold bearing areas and is not naturally found in abundance in that state. But there's always a chance to find Lafitte's lost stashes of gold, so keep your eyes open, especially along the coast.

    • @Pyrorazon
      @Pyrorazon ปีที่แล้ว

      No it’s in the quartz rock. You have to get the bedrock of quartz rock and crush then pan. Also get soil in a creek from the bedrock or under big rocks or on the banks or dried up parts with rocks. I found gold in the quartz rocks. Also a lot of platinum there as well it is a grey silver color. There is also a Rhodium mine in Tate Ga so Rhodium is in that area. Rhodium is like $8k an ounce. Rhodium is found in Platinum rocks and is rare but since there is a mine close by then it’s not that rare there.
