my landscape bss bought one last season a 32 inch. it works amazing i went to a scag section at a NHRA race and told them how my boss had one. he told me the best things about them is they are GREAT for cutting wet grass. when i got back from the track and used it that next week, I used it on a yard that had some tall wet grass and it went through it like it was NOTHING!!!
That yard ain’t worth any mower in the water 👍. You should have enough yards that the one dangerous one ain’t worth it. Trust me. I own a landscaping company 👌. 10k. In the drink. Think about it.
@@jacobdaus3835 No, standers are NOT safe (worth) taking on all the hills. If you do it every day and hit new hills with it you'll see. Anyone with a basic understanding of physics has one the trailer
@@Erock242 Not to mention an employee who thinks he can slow it down once he loses it. So much can go wrong quick. Better to back up on hills anyways, they are quite light in the front.
Just subscribed. I demoed this mower in 2018, definitely good machines. I actually decided to go with Ferris Z3X standers, but it was a tough decision between SCAG and Ferris.
@@jayjack2768 Really good so far. I have 2 Z3X mowers with over 1000 hours and I have only had minor parts to replace that I would expect with any machine.
I'm 6 foot and the dealer told me which I didn't know you can adjust the stand on platform take the spacer out the move the springs outward your stand a little lower
I'm running a Scag V-Ride 2 - 36", and I love the machine. Tons of power and speed. Maneuvers real nice. The 36" is not really supported by Scag very well in the sense that there's no bagging option, lights or OCDC, so you have to rely on the aftermarket for those items.
If ya even research how OSHA requires for mowers to traverse on hills and slopes , ya would see most guys don’t know how to fully operate a commercial lawnmower properly and safely . We had a property that is 244 acres and it lots of big long hills and very steep ones . We mowed em with walk behind and sit down hydros . On my first day, my mower lost its traction and I slid all the way down but I knew how to correct it at the bottom and I was able to continue mowing . Ya really want a bigger buffer zone mowing near a water way . We also did large retention ponds and some guys would end up getting stuck , so I’d have to get em out with my mower.
I want a stand on mower that’s cut quality is that of a 22” Toro as they cut the grass and leaves so fine that it’s beneficial to the turf . The cut quality for this Scag isn’t a superior cut .
The King's Courtyard Lawn Care Service you get what you pay for 🙌🏽 scag won't let you down no matter how wet or thick the lawn is . I live here down south Florida and man let me tell you it's a monster .

I absolutely love my scag V-Ride 2!
Glad you enjoyed the demo!
ScagPowerEquipment thanks! The crew couldn’t get me off of it!
@TowME trailers Awesome to hear!
We just got one at work and about to use it for the first time. Thank you for a video that shows an actual hill. Nice work and video!
Awesome video man! Really well-made! You earned yourself a new subscriber here :)👊
That steep back yard is why a walk behind will always be on my truck. Nice work
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The scag walk behind is probably the best way to go, in all honesty

How's the Ferris treating you

I have 3 of them great mower. I am a scag and Ferris fan can’t go wrong with either of them.
Which do you like better
That’s cool looking, how can I get one thanks for showing see ya next time see ya bye.
Awesome stripes man,Keep up the good work man.
I guess I’m buying one. I’m in Tennessee abs I have some crazy hills

No bagging option? Can’t you just buy a adapter so you can use a accelerator aluminum bag?

Thanks for video! In market for a second mower.
I'm looking at a 36 and 52 in the morning.
What type of grass is this?
Still have the v-ride?
I run that same machine and really wouldn’t want any part of that hill. The 1 huge hill I mow, i walk with my swzt. Sucks but it’s how i do it
So the only thing left is for you to buy one👍🏼💪🏼
Troy Schultz hopefully next season!
I knew this video was old when I saw “demo” on the side of the mower. What a foreign concept these days lmao

Very nice, I've always liked the Scag mowers. The V-Ride is in my view maybe for the future, they are costly tho...

Alex Sanchez I haven’t had any issues with my Bradley so far. I paid for a good mower and that is what I have.
Do I get to 52 or the 48

Really, a 0-turn is highly maneuverable? WOW!! That 2,000lb multi-thousand dollar mower is rutting the crap out of the turf. Where's the bagger?
That’s the incorrect way to traverse on a hill
