Yes, your awning is really handy and it's also affordable, and it's probably not too heavy. We have a Thule awning that cost over 2000 pounds and weighs 30kg 😅. It's probably only been used less than 5 times in a year because we move it so often. Good and informative video.
Yeah we are really happy with it! This one only weights 5kg and that is the exact reason we didn’t want to spend a fortune, we usually wild camp and you don’t exactly get an awning out then! Thankyou!!!
Great vid, looking for an awning for my van so will definitely look these up. Being nosey, were you on a camp site when demonstrating the awning? Love a site near water!
Looks good. Might have to get one. Got the fiamma f45s on my vw, but for the amount of times I’ve used it I don’t fancy paying that much out again. This one looks good value 👍
It’s good mate! We are in the same boat as you! Generally we wild camp so not really awning situations. But for the few times we meet friends or whatever it’s nice to have to shade from the sun or rain! 😂
Hi just come across your channel and have been searching for an awning that can fit onto Unistrut. Brill video so it seems I have found the ideal awning !! Thanks guys really informative. Did those brackets come with the awning or did you buy separately? Oh and have subscribed. Cheers
The legs have a maximum height of 2.2m. Ours is installed on our roof rack which sits at about 3.5m from the ground and we have no issues with it at all!
@@Jess_and_Alex_Adventure That's a tall van! Mines 2.80m top of roof rack. No brainer £200 for a bit of faff or £1000 for something slightly simpler. All the best with the Mini build 😃
Hi looked on the website but it says not suitable for hi vans could u send me a link of the one u got as I did click onto the link u have in description
The link is in the description, it’s absolutely fine on our van and we are fairly tall with the lift kit and the wheels. I can see how it would struggle on anything much taller than ours. All that would happen if the roof is too tall is that it would lean the bottom of the front legs towards the van. So it would technically still work.
Norman looking very handsome. A must-have addition in my opinion. Nice one guys.
Thanks mate! Definitely agree there!

@@Jess_and_Alex_Adventure exactly that mate! I try not to look like I’m moving in forever if I’m wild camping 😂
@@SpyderLEE Exactly that! So for us something cheaper is better! But we were shocked how strong and sturdy it was in the wind we had!

Thankyou! Really appreciate it, we’ve found it to be absolutely perfect for us! The brackets come with it!
Thankyou!!!
Hey, great video as ever. Does you awning have the 2.5m front legs as I'm looking for comfort it would work with my Crafter?
