That Woods spawn got me twice in my SPT runs, both times pretty much the exact same way. Take two steps, immediately get shredded by the Goons. You'd think there'd be some check to not spawn players there, or have the Goons spawn a bit further back where they wouldn't immediately hop on you, if that spawn is listed as a PMC spawn that raid. Is what it is I suppose.
Just finished playing some SPT and I have some advice for people like me who might be bad at the game so they might need to farm up some equipment, If you go to factory to where the boilers are which is the area where gate 3 is, across from the boilers there's a chain link fence and a wall with an empty door frame, Right past that door there's two dumpsters in a tie. Those dumpsters and no one can come up behind you and people are always running past that door or through it and if you stay back there long enough they'll start coming after you behind the dumpsters. But it's a pretty good spot to sit around and loot some okay gear to get yourself back on your feet even if it is kind of cheap, that is cheap. Success is not guaranteed my last run. I almost died and one-legged limped while bleeding to death from my hiding spot to gate 3 while being shot at
After watching the difficulty of a bunch of the AI pmcs, and especially the difficulty of Shturman and Sanitar, I 110% agree with whoever commented that your SAIN difficulty settings seem way too easy. I know especially on live Tarkov, the way you played both of those fights you would have easily died pretty early into both boss engagements, aint no way you can just sit there peeking Shturman and his guards for literal minutes and not have them snipe you(since they specialize in longer range engagements). But even compared to others SAIN settings in SPT that ive seen, their AI looked much more advanced in terms of tactics, target acquisition, aim etc. Im still new to SPT, so maybe im a bit biased since im far more used to live difficulty but even live PvE mode seems more difficult(for reference I have around 400-500hrs, lvl 61 w/ Kappa completed, 50 K/D on live PvE), at least the Boss AI on live PvE is for sure more difficult. PMC AI is arguable since there is more layers of logic+more pathing options in SAIN although live AI PMCs definitely seem more aimbotty than the ones in your SPT run. Also just seems like you dont really run into very many scavs or PMCs during a raid tbh, but I could again just be too used to Live. Im still trying to figure out SPT myself, and what settings to use for SAIN myself though, so its still quite useful to use your settings as a gauge to help tune the AI to the difficulty I would prefer.
I have SAIN on its default difficulty. Which used to be called "hard" but now they just call it their default. I haven't messed with anything else other than turning on no bush esp, headshot protection and lowered bots sighting range slightly so I don't get shot from like a mile away like I was in the first couple episodes. My donuts settings are Hard PMC's, Normal scavs and Live like everything else. Maybe I just got lucky? i was pretty surprised I took them down so easy as well.
@@gamervisuals Idk because when I watch Klean play he said he has it set to default+slightly lower vision/hearing for the AI, which is basically what you say you are using too but there is a VERY clear difference (to me at least) in the difficulty and behavior of the AI in his game compared to the AI in yours. He has a bunch of videos of his current SPT playthrough on YT for comparisons sake, and its pretty bizarre that somehow you guys are playing on almost the same exact difficulty yet his AI look like theyre far more advanced, so im guessing some variable has to be different?
I wish there were a mod to ensure that you could scav into the same raid that you just died as a pmc! Its possible to do that in live and for a to play through for zero to hero play through it would be interesting!

I’ve been enjoying the Artemis and scorpion traders along with their quests! Highly recommend adding them to a play through sometime!

this might be a good idea, it just takes a ton of time to update a modlist as extensive as mine. Just wanna keep the content rolling for you guys

Have you looked into changing configs for DONUTS to reduce Goons spawns? Seemed to work for me.
How do you get the floating exfil icons, i can not find that setting ?
I say rather turn goons off, at least for now.
Yeah. I edified their spawn chance to 1% to see if they still spawn 😂
