@@Neo6364 The power supply itself is fine, screw terminal models like that are pretty common if you're looking for a fixed voltage supply for something DIY or custom. The thing that they never include and should be required to include is some kind of non-conductive housing. Linus did I think say 'thanks meanwell' so if it is genuine meanwell (ie a highly highly highly reputable psu manufacturer in industrial and B2B world - ie make psus other companies put into their products). The issue here is that when you buy a chassis style psu like this it is OEM 'like' you are 100% expected to be putting it into an enclosure fixed and properly covered. These sorts of chassis frame psus are designed to be put inside a product not just left externally hooked up. Also, bunnies have a penchant for 'spicy hay' and are actually hardly little buggers (I haven't let mine roam in an area with cabling, but lots of house rabbit owners will attest to how they never seem to get hurt with the spicy hay - not saying you shouldn't go out of your way to keep them safe from such hazard, because you still should). Basically, the product is OK, but not in the way it's being used (ie not what the manufacturer intended). My main thing is more to check its genuine meanwell as that would be a bigger risk (meanwell love to put solastic over everything - which is good - so that can be one way to tell, plus named brand caps and components)
That light mural company is genuinely comitting public endangerment from what we've seen so far. Would not put their products in the same room with animals that are known for chewing cables :/ That noctua crimp connector is a godsend. So useful for stuff like replacing fans with propriatery connectors, rpi fans etc. And with greenhouses you want controlled stable airflow, not chaotic one, hence the weatherstripping. You basically want to move around the humidity, without venting it trough every crevace. Otherwise you'd have mold problems. The fans from noctua will barely move the air around anyway, but they will spread the humidity through the closet.
Everybody is so hyped up about the sign, but it's really not that big a deal. Those power supplies are pretty normal, though they should include plastic clamshell housings to cover the terminals after assembly, but that's on the side of the actual PSU manufacturer who expects you to put it in your own housing anyway. I'm sure if the LMG team wanted they could 3D print a bolt together plastic cover for the exposed terminals. That wouldn't solve the problem of animals chewing on cables, but you could make that same concern about literally any electronic device that plugs into a wall outlet, so it's not exactly fair criticism either, they need those wall mount cable covers.
I appreciate that he obviously and visually feels shame for his awful jokes but he owns them and does not give up on them. Very powerful funny dad energy.
In the cabinet, you want airflow to prevent rot en fungi to grow, but you don’t want air to flow in/out the cabinet. Only internal airflow. Also you want the airflow to internally equalise temperature and humidity. Nice plants btw!
GRIS is such an amazing BEAUTIFUL work of art! I hope you get the chance to enjoy it on a big screen because every single frame of that game belongs in the Louvre.
Yeah I was thinking the same this could be solved with a 3D printed layer on top of the whole PSU or at least the bottom, there are probably STLs available for it already since it's a common unit

I, myself have a bonded pair of bunnies. And I must say, those bun buns are VERY cute and I love to see semi-free roaming bunnies, with a nice large room. They look so healthy and happy
I'm pretty sure the 3 wires on the bunny light are for power injection. It's to add another path for current to flow from the power supply to the lights further downstream from the first power input. This will keep all the lights at a more consistent brightness, as the distance from a power source to each individual LED is reduced. This is pretty common with super long runs of RGB pixel LEDs.
And I give them props. They must have a good working relationship. I don't think I don't want this many of my co-workers let alone my boss in my apartment so intimately.

My main thing is more to check its genuine meanwell as that would be a bigger risk (meanwell love to put solastic over everything - which is good - so that can be one way to tell, plus named brand caps and components)
same somebody fix that live wire@@Neo6364
I LOVE THE NEW INTRO!!! Also I love how Elijah walked in, saw Linus in the cowboy outfit, and was like "I don't get paid enough to deal with this"
Why so much hatered for the cowboys nowadays ?
@@justinandout Not me personally bro, I loved the costume. I was just talking about Elijah.
@@justinandout They are a terrible team almost as bad as the bills
It is almost the same as old intel ultimate upgrade. The intro for this series only
That Red Green Show reference. Absolute legend. I loved watching that show growing up.
That light mural company is genuinely comitting public endangerment from what we've seen so far. Would not put their products in the same room with animals that are known for chewing cables :/
That noctua crimp connector is a godsend.
A lot of money wasted here, is kinda hard to watch.
@@idkbruhimhigh TBF half of it was basically only on the pelleton... They've "wasted" more on others in the series.
@@idkbruhimhighyou are watching the wrong series my friend
Everybody is so hyped up about the sign, but it's really not that big a deal. Those power supplies are pretty normal, though they should include plastic clamshell housings to cover the terminals after assembly, but that's on the side of the actual PSU manufacturer who expects you to put it in your own housing anyway. I'm sure if the LMG team wanted they could 3D print a bolt together plastic cover for the exposed terminals. That wouldn't solve the problem of animals chewing on cables, but you could make that same concern about literally any electronic device that plugs into a wall outlet, so it's not exactly fair criticism either, they need those wall mount cable covers.
and also ripping their customers off. that aint worth a thousand dollars.
This is basically the kind of person I would expect to be in charge of HR.
Bunnies, plants, peloton, the whole shebang
I was mostly thinking the same, but usually I'd picture less personality, glasses and at least 15 years older.
@@SpidermanandJenytimes are changing
@@iMapleCreator well I suppose everything is and the closest my work has to one is pretty close to what I described. Not that we actually have one
@@choahjinhuayHonestly, I don't think HR is doing much service to anyone
I’m so thankful amd took this up. This is my favorite series
This was the cherry on top of a fun video. "If she doesn't find you handsome, she should at least find you handy." Red Green
Smart way to buy out the hr department without seeming suspicious 😂
HR is for the company, union is for the employees.
Lol HR works for the company, not the employees.
They musta fired that "3rd party hr investigation team" as soon as they were uploading
The thousand dollar neon bunny sign is worth at least a couple racist jokes at the company Christmas party I think.
IT and HR usually have a working relationship, they're the first to know when someone is hired or fired.
Linus wearing oddball costumes needs to be in every tech upgrade video going forward! His comedic ability is such a riot!! 🎉😂
I appreciate that he obviously and visually feels shame for his awful jokes but he owns them and does not give up on them. Very powerful funny dad energy.
The costume changes really show off the production budget! Love it!
I'll just say Linus seems like an incredibly patient dude and leave it at that.
Linus' handling of that guitar is like grabbing a cpu in a fist grip.
Or like Dennis in Linus' house.
I'm surprised Dennis and Colton survived that...
congrats on the $5000 upgrade, from AMD, sorry to hear about the $500 of damages from Linus
In the cabinet, you want airflow to prevent rot en fungi to grow, but you don’t want air to flow in/out the cabinet. Only internal airflow.
Also you want the airflow to internally equalise temperature and humidity.
Nice plants btw!
This was one of the most professionally novice video I have seen from LTT and I loved it
as a prior bunny owner myself
i'm surprised she has cables and her bunnies in the same room
BBQ bunnies
A long long time ago my Rabbits were chewing on some VCR Cables just The AV ones though.
because HR does not care. If something gets damaged, they will force Linus to replace it
@@jinxchrome7526 She's Head of HR if Linus really Hurt one of her Bunnies he'd be in Trouble.
back when i had a bun, little guy chewed up my landline phone cable
Pets and 120v exposed contacts... What could possibly go wrong? I dunno but those Neon Lights are cool.
They aren't even real neon lights though for a grand it should at least look like a real neon sign
That's a cheap LED strip going through some 3D-printed thing glued to an acrylic panel. Totally worth a thousand US dollars.
25:04 I don't think I have ever been more confused by a transition in LTT history. Amazing video guys no idea how you got it past HR.
GRIS is such an amazing BEAUTIFUL work of art! I hope you get the chance to enjoy it on a big screen because every single frame of that game belongs in the Louvre.
15:44 speaking from experience 230 volt does also hurt.
Still my favorite series on the channel. Thanks AMD!
@@TheJunnutin any reason why did intel stop?
Maybe they could 3d print a case to go around the powersupply to keep the bunnies or people from touching it.
Yeah I was thinking the same this could be solved with a 3D printed layer on top of the whole PSU or at least the bottom, there are probably STLs available for it already since it's a common unit
Those wabbits are dead now from electrocution
How is that not included in to 1000$ purchase.
Linus, on Wan show said, they did fix this off camera, after the video was filmed.
The editing is usually top tier, but woah the editing for this vid was so fun!
You should go back and silicon over those exposed wires, if she moves her setup and the bunnies get curious they're gonna get a nice zap.
Then why go back and cover them?
And they definitely will, my mom has bunnies and they're menaces who can and will find a way to bite into everything.
My concern exactly, my friend had his bunny die by chewing a cable, they can be stupid as shit.
should just take the power supply away completely and replace it with a power brick. its only a dc supply running some leds.
@@BlessedDog My cat once bit through a 2000w radiator wire when it was on, the cat flew across the room, half her face was paralysed for a month and her whiskers melted on that side too. She's fully recovered but damn that was scary, she never chewed wires since.
Elijah is an agent of chaos and I absolutely love it
Why was Elijah just a absolute GEM this episode.
i love that no one actually treats Linus like a boss in anyway shape or form and just yells at him all the time
Imagine having Linus himself in your home, moving your furniture!
Gotta be so stressful, holy crap.

I am 4min in and immediately this feels wilder than Dennis' upgrade. That bunny light!
Ariana is very confident having the sign in the Rabitat, bunnies are very much known for enjoying a bit of electric liquorice.
21:39 my man is a walking hazard, be careful lol.
That's the Linus' crew for you. Once you shake hands, you're cursed with Linus' "fall everything" power.
Loved this episode, it's classic LTT humor and chaos all the way through! The mix of tech, bunnies, and unexpected twists (not to mention the wardrobe changes!) was just perfect. Seriously, these are the kinds of videos that make me keep coming back. Keep up the amazing work, guys!
That red green quote brought a rush of memories back to me. I used to watch it every saturday night with my dad growing up, such good memories!
Linus was prepared to get the best out of this one. Earned his pay to make this episode entertaining.
Watching Linus interact with animals that aren't his cats feels weird. Not in a bad way, it's just kinda like when you see your teacher outside of school.
Anyways, I hope no one let Linus hold the bunnies.
Extreme Tech Upgrade is one of my favourite series on LLT besides Secret Shopper. It's so cool to see the different people at LMG and their unique interests and tastes. I'd never see that bamboo speaker or rabbit play cabinet otherwise
These videos are getting more fun than before.
Linus changing his outfit from bunny farmer to athlete and ending it off with a chef is just beautiful 😆
This is my favorite Tech Upgrade so far by a lot
somehow for someone on HR, this is the most dangerous upgrade yet 😂
1000 on a led lights is absurd but fits the video perfectly
4:23 we had a led sign outside of the cinema I used to work at and that exact same power supply was just sitting there on the table in the projectionists breakroom, connected to the sign outside.
It's a very common generic part
2 mins in and Linus already gets a write up, exactly what I expected… LOVE IT 😂😂
Linus: "I think it's a giant neon rabbit, and tastefulness was in the rear-view mirror a long time ago."
LOL, facts.
Linus' jokes are so funny that HR wanted to hear them in person
Spending the day with Linus would be my "Make a wish" wish... Don't know why he really seems so nice and wholesome...
Linus dropped a Red Green Show line. Amazing. Just made my week.
I’m not Canadian, but are we talking about those two nerds looking like they are going fishing
23:47 Thats so typical man. It hurts like hell, but you just keep going, because you're almost done anyways. 😂😂😂
This was one of the best ETTs. It had everything.
Costumes. Linus jokes. Elijah almost dying multiple times. Ariana is super nice. Bunnies. The gorgeous greenhouse.
I swear, Linus hired Elijah, just so that he isn't the clumsy one anymore. 🤣
omg so glad that they brought up red green. I just commented how they needed to turn part of their workshop into a possum lodge style for their "this shouldn't work, but we will find a way!" type projects. The ones where alex has fun jerry-rigging odd contraptions.
I couldn't agree more! This is an amazing idea
funny you reply when you did. I just learned yesterday that Roku has a free 24/7 Red Green channel. Which is now going to be my go-to for when nothing good is on TV. Didn't realize that show went on for 15 seasons. I wonder what LTT could use for lodge's motto (like possum lodge's 'man's prayer' of "i'm a man. But i can change. if i have to. I guess"). Can only imagine the fun they could have with a spinoff series or new channel doing that sort of redneck tech-engineering. Would JBweld be their duct tape?
LTT is the place I come to learn about the various dangers of home renovations.
the costume, the people, this episode is by far the most fun to watch ultimate tech upgrade throughout the whole series 🤩🤩🤩🤩
i love that elijah almost dying 3 separate times was in a video related to HR 💀
