Is it advised to pay for a private inspector for all the different phases of construction or just one inspection at the end? I know the contractors have to have the house inspected for all phases. I am wondering if a separate and privately paid inspector is advised for the buyer.
I just bought the same exact home chocolate cabinets and I didn’t get the floor upgrade so I have carpet in the living room and in the office I didn’t get the kitchen upgrade with appliances but the same exact house

No major issues, so far. Just nail pops and squeaky floor. But they've come out and fixed things we needed done. Pretty solid build.

The countertops were an upgrade, but the tile in the bathrooms were standard.
