The dialogue of kaido which caught my attention was “You have none of the old Kozuki dignity” so what connection does kaido has to kozuki or wano and he specifically says old kozuki

But in this chapter, Oden is clearly using both swords. This is a small hole that could prove my theory that it wasn't the sword that cut Kaido, it was Oden. Not to say that Zoro won't be able to cut him as he's a great swordsman too, but it's a "it's the swordsman, not the sword" situation.
That could actually end up meaning a lot since the person who gave Zoro the sword as well as many other people thought that it was the sword that caused the scar. When it might actually just be Oden.if that the case then we could end up seeing a future failed attempt where they rely on Enma with in the plan. I could either see this going two ways. One is that no one knew it was Oden own power that caused the scar Or two. The person that gave Zoro Enma knew full well that it Oden that caused the scar and gave Zoro Enma in order to get Zoro sword.
think its a bit of both. feel that the user is more important since johnny or yosaku from east blue wouldnt be able to do shit to kaido with any of the twelve great grade swords. however, not entirely sure either if mihawk could do any significant damage with some super run of the mill crap sword. obviously mihawk (or any great swordsman) would win in that scenario against someone like yosaku with a vastly vastly inferior sword which is why i said the swordsman is more important but again, i feel like its more of both
This thing about enma has been misinterpreted by everyone i see..Hiyori stated: !! there's no line in the manga saying enma is the ONLY sword that gave Kaido his wound..that's a totally different statement!! Lastly,enma being a sword that wounded kaido doesnt negate the fact that the swords were two actually..since ameno habakiri was meant for momonosuke and enma for hiyori it's obvious that hiyori can only speak about enma(cause it belongs to her)!!

I feel like we're about to have a major bombshell dropped on us again too towards the end of this flashback. Truth be told, this is my theory: The Acts of Wano are based off the traditional acts of Kabuki Theatre. The 3rd Act (of 5) is usually the "Tragedy" arc, detailing unfortunate circumstances of the story or characters. This is aptly seen in that we are seeing the Tragedy of Kozuki Oden, in how he grew up, how he ventured out into the world, and how he sacrificed everything for his nation and lost anyway. However, its not the ONLY tragedy that we're going to see here. The truth is, when Orochi confronts Toki, she's going to have a flashback of her home, *_The Ancient Kingdom_* and the day it was attacked by the Alliance of 20 Nations, how she escaped the devistation with her powers, and how she's been jumping through time to try and find someplace safe to live on. The Ancient kingdom was attacked out of fear by this alliance because of their construction of Pluton, a massive battleship designed to blow a hole in the Red Line. The Ancient Kingdom's goal in this was to help Poseidon, the king of Fishman Island, move his people somewhere safe above the surface of the sea, as well as unite the 4 seas into 1 sea. One Piece, as they say. This is what the One Piece was, a strategy to unite the world as one. However the alliance of 20 nations was wary and afraid of Pluton, as well as Poseidon's ability to command the sea kings. They then began a campaign of persecution against Fishmen and wiped out the Ancient Kingdom and proceded to bury any and all historical records of it. The reason the government is afraid of the Poneglyphs now is this: 1.) The Poneglyph on Laugh Tale details the entire truth of the 100 Year void, the deadly sins of the Alliance, and the true plan of the Ancient Kingdom. 2.) The Pluton is still there on Laugh Tale, and the Government believes if someone uses it now, they'll blow away Marijoa, which is a big no no for them because that's where the rich bastards live. 3.) If the truth gets out, people will rise up against the government, and they will no longer have enough power to maintain world peace and order. Thus, the Tragedy of Wano is also the Tragedy of the Ancient Kingdom.
my own theory is, by opening/destroying wano border (miniature of 'red line' surrounding wano), the chaotic current around the island will flown into calm belt, makes ancient beast (like zunisha?) that trapped on florian triangle getting free. Momonosuke is the uranus, ancient weapon that commands land monsters. The TWO kings from the Neptunians prophecy were Momonosuke and Shirahoshi.

The interesting part is Jack and beast pirates knew that Raizo was in Zou even after 20 years. In my personal opinion, I would say kanjuro is the traitor as he has been everywhere. Even he was one of the scabbards who went to future and kanjuro was also in dressrosa and in meantime, jack went to Zou searching for Raizo. Only the minks, kinemon, kanjuro and momo were the ones who knew that Raizo was in Zou.
2 or 3 episodes? You, sir, have little understanding in the power of still-shot filler that is being used recently. Toei can easily stretch this chapter out to at least 4 or 5 episodes.
I think it would be a whole year of episodes with random storylines in between. Well, actually i would like to have those old fillers back, like the one with the moria pirates in cool outfits. But toei likes to just stretch out the manga material til its no longer enjoyable. Wano still has some very strong moments tho
We've known Oden isn'y Yonko level for a while now. He was knocked back, injured, from a clash with Rodger yet Whitebeard was able to match Rodger. I'm still going for Toki as the traitor; 1. She got sick just before Laugh Tale like Buggy. In my mind she triggered the illness in order to try and infect Shanks and thus prevent the Straw Hat from reaching Laugh Tale just yet. Rodger was laughing because the final secret of Laugh Tale needed his old Straw Hat and by passing it to Shanks and Buggy getting ill the hat he'd had for so long didn't make the final journey. 2. Her wound was none fatal and distinctive. The none fatal aspect could be a lucky break but it seems unusual for someone who has been constantly avoiding danger for centuries. The distinctive nature means she is still alive so couldn't have been surprised by Kaido. 3. She is the person who has the best access to Momonosuke As for her reasons, I believe she was given a mission to ensure the final secret of Laugh Tale was unlocked by the right person and the best way to do that was to protect the Poneglyph in Wano (Zou's protects itself and the Fishmen used to protect the other.) , something that would be far harder to do with Oden (and his open border policy) than it would be under Kaido (sealed border)
That doesn't at all prove he isn't yonko level, he literally clashed with Whitebeard several years before that when he was younger and weaker which you conveniently left out. Are you telling me Roger can't injure a yonko? He got hit by a named attack by the strongest pirate in one piece and he bounced back immediately with only minor injuries
Hey Grandline, did you notice how at the end of the chapter, after showing Toki, the chapter cuts to a courtesan? To me it felt reminiscent of when Komurasaki was cut down and the chapter jumped over to Hiyori. I feel like Oda is purposely messing with us
For me this chapter cleared Shinobu's name. But this just opens the huge possibly that the traitor is one of the Nine Red Scabbards. I think that Toki really intended to die right at that moment, but she learned about the traitor being really close; so she decided to follow in the future (maybe before Kin'emon and the others arrived) and took Hiyori to protect her. Also making her own moves in the shadows.
I believe Oda has given us the answer to why Oden made the deal. 1. When Kaido says we have a spy among you, Oden doesn’t bat an eyes as if he already knows because someone (orichi) already told him prior. 2. The old lady turned into odens father and was able to turn into momo and they probably showed and explained to Oden how the fruit works. 3. Orochi displays how easily they can order an assassination from their castle meaning they can kill momo or family at anytime. 4. Orochi has obviously told Oden that kaido and his crew were shipwrecked on wano and to appease them they would make them ships so they don’t “harm the people”

I just wanted to point out the amusement I got from the comment "I guarantee this 1 chapter will play out over at least 2 or 3 episodes" when it was really only like half an episode. Kaido being wounded even if 20 years ago also shows that the Beast Pirates have not lost thier arrogance. ´With a confirmed traitor now I just wish Oda would say who it is. I dont expect any big reavel on Toki, Oda had a chance to reveal her ancient past but did not.

Thank you for having some logic, I've been in a debate on who the traitor could be and I just don't see any of the scabbards being the traitor up to this point they've either helped too much or shown too much loyalty or sacrificed for them to be a traitor imo. At this point I'm leaning towards no actual traitor and it was all just the old woman getting intel and maybe even making vivre cards from some of the Scabbards.

Read this theory where oden makes a deal with kaido to translate the ponyglyphs to save the nine red scabbards and himself so kaido makes the old lady with Mr 2's fruit to take odens shape and be executed instead. If this takes place it would be amazing

Wouldn't they be expected to be stronger in the modern day? I mean Sengoku said they both have only gotten stronger over time. 20 years is a chunk of time, i don't imagine they decided to stay stagnant complacent with their abilities over 20 years, that just wouldn't make sense.
I get the feeling that Toki either knows what the outcome of all of this is or has been sent here/ came here, to this time for this purpose. Sort of like a "fulfill your destiny" type of deal. And that's the reason she's so calm even with all this shit going down. Hope that made sense.

I really want to say that Oden is yonkou level, because he was probably going to end Kaidou right there, but I'm afraid that Zoro is going to also cut Kaidou in the present, and that would make Zoro and that doesn't feel right yet
dealing damage and actually being able to defeat someone r two different things. could sanji land a blow/do some damage to katakuri for example? sure why not, but is he defeating the guy? nope hes not. same thing here. could zoro deal some damage? yeah possibly, but hes not defeating kaido. and the way oda illustrated the sequence was clearly to show that without the distraction, oden wouldve won.

Why would oden not be Yonko level. That literally goes against his entire clash with whitebeard, being able to take hits from Roger, being Whitebeards #2 (similar to Rayleigh and Roger who was Yonko level in his prime) and being able to overwhelm kaido.

I know this is kinda out there but... I think it may have to do with queen and his poison making ability. In the prisoner mine he shot a few prisoners and it spread by contact. So what if the arrow that was shot was some kind of precursor to the poison used in the prison. Something like an uncontrollable spreading disease would seem to be a good reason.
Sadly odens saga will end with his demise. This story is following the path of the 47 Ronin. And the whole thing kicks off after a feudal Lord attempted to kill another one out of spite but failed. The Lord of was stripped of his title for attempted murder and executed via Seppuku. Oden won't be so lucky I'm afraid.
Oden vs Kaido, the battle of the ages! At least, it will be that in the anime. The manga version had them take the bullet train to the next story segment instead. This fight just cements home even more just how little Oda wants to flesh out fights in the series. i am not even asking for like 2 chapters. He is montaging through a chapter titled " Kaido vs Oden. This should have been an easy 10 outta 10. Instead, what is there just lacked a lot of impact because Oda did not want us to see even an iota of what kaido is capable of , probably until the present day battle. Even then, I kinda fear a lot of offscreening for what will probably be some of the most battle heavy chapters post timeskip. Imagine if we did see few attacks from Kaido and it devastated the land but Oden deflected that and in the present day, The Sh crew and the alliance have to deal with an upgraded version of that attack. But it is all up to speculation as to how strong Oden really was.
Yes, I know one-piece is no longer a battle heavy shounen, but it would have been nice to see an extended clash of oden and KaIdo. The mere 3 to 4 pages doesn't feel right.
Weird theory, but I think it would make great narrative impact if Raizo was revealed as the traitor. Just imagine, an entire civilisation fought to protect him. Also, maybe that's why Jack was specifically looking for him at Zou.

With this wave of devil fruit users that we already seen his follower user helping luffy and co I have a theory to propose. To me Oden is the green admiral, but how can he be knowing wano state? What if the previous user o Pudim akuma no mi erased his mind? It's another fruit that helped luffy and explains how oden can be that guy.
It actually cracks my mind on how has no one so far suspected Toki.... she's the perfect candidate, no one knows anything about her motives and she is really the driving force of all this. Even the fact that her scar was the motive for Oden to dash in the palace makes it even more suspicious. I will not even mention about her son being used for the mane-mane no mi scum. She's the closest person to mononosuke and she would be the perfect ally for all this. As for her motives... We could do the math after we see her back story.
I think the reason the fight was so rushed was because it’s a flashback. I don’t remember any full, big battle actually happening in any other flashback in One Piece.

Shes a Celestial dragon born 800 years ago, when Oden met her she was calling the pirates that surrounded her slavers. The only link to 800 years ago was mentioned by the Gorosei saying Vivis family are from 800 years ago and are considered betrayers of the Gorosei/Celestials.

Hi! I have the feelling that the lie Orochi told Oden, was about ancestral weapon Urano. I have a theory that Urano is in Wano, it is a place linked to the ancient kingdom like Gyoyin island an Arabasta, and there aren't much more important places to visit, despite maybe Elbaf. So i think Orochi told Oden that Kaido has found Urano, and as Oden should have read the poneglyph about Urano being in Wano, he thought it was truth. I don't think Oden sacrifice his own people for a selfish reason, like his family being threatened.

Ok one thing I kinda want to clear up, Oden tied with white beard in his prime when he was stronger, in that one clash of course, sure if the fight lasted a little longer i'm pretty sure White beard would had won since he's comparable to the king of the pirates and we all know how that went. Hello, I want to start reading the manga, However I started the anime first and I'm in way too deep to start reading the manga from the beginning, so which chapter/page lines with episode 920?
The traitor has to be Toki because she knew about Wano before it was even created and for some reason coincidentally ran into Oden and had his kid. When Oden went with Roger, Toki was ill and couldn't go with him but she made it to Wano a year before Oden returned. To me I feel like her devil fruit isn't what she claims it to be. If she can only go to the future then how is it that she had future information such as Wano even the country wasn't a thing in her time. I believe she was sent by someone in order to create a weakness for Oden because remember, Oden didn't care for anything to the point where he left Wano
Imagine if Kanjuro is the traitor and at the same time he is a really good artist but he lied about his skills and kept drawing shitty animals so he could sabotage the Straw Hats. This probably is not the case but I am just gonna throw it out there.
I think the series can work as it is friendly with times. If you think about it... it is very diverse and very accepting Usop is African... Zorro is Japanese... Robin is Spanish... Nami is Swedish... Luffy is Brazilian... Sanji is friend... chopper is Canadian. All these character's can work... Sanji can be like Bernie Simpson form how I met your mother and even played by a gay person... manga luffy will work... Zorro will work... nami will work... usop will work... Robin will work... chopper will need to be altered slightly or since he's a child he will work... but the rest of I mentioned can work fine. The real one piece failed is not only because of the 4kids dubbed... or the fact the funimation dubbed is so far behind... it's because, It's because of the East Blue SAGA. Edited: As for the female characters... just don't over sexualize them on less it is important to the character... like Boa Hancock. I can't write all my ideas here I wrote all of them in the comment section of Steven Maede's post on Insargram about one piece... Please check it out because there is a lot to consider and follow Steven Meada because he needs followers. I believe this series can work easily with the right talent and a wise use of there budget.
To be fair even though Oden could’ve won 5 years ago Kaido could have easily used his dragon form to fly around Wano and set the several villages and capitals on Fire, resulting in the death of thousands of civilians.

On top of that he could also kill Toki, Momo, and Hiyori in the chaos as well, so not only would Oden have to bare with the fact that his actions caused the deaths of hundreds of innocent people but his family as well.

If you look at the panels Kanjuro is looking to the left. Anyone who is looking to the left is lying. I learned that through body language in Naruto when neji fought Hinata in the manga. Kanjuro was also in the story for a good amount of time. I don't rewatch arcs too much but from my knowledge Kanjuro could be a spy. I'm huh sayin

I feel like we're about to have a major bombshell dropped on us again too towards the end of this flashback. Truth be told, this is my theory:
The Acts of Wano are based off the traditional acts of Kabuki Theatre. The 3rd Act (of 5) is usually the "Tragedy" arc, detailing unfortunate circumstances of the story or characters. This is aptly seen in that we are seeing the Tragedy of Kozuki Oden, in how he grew up, how he ventured out into the world, and how he sacrificed everything for his nation and lost anyway. However, its not the ONLY tragedy that we're going to see here.
The truth is, when Orochi confronts Toki, she's going to have a flashback of her home, *_The Ancient Kingdom_* and the day it was attacked by the Alliance of 20 Nations, how she escaped the devistation with her powers, and how she's been jumping through time to try and find someplace safe to live on. The Ancient kingdom was attacked out of fear by this alliance because of their construction of Pluton, a massive battleship designed to blow a hole in the Red Line. The Ancient Kingdom's goal in this was to help Poseidon, the king of Fishman Island, move his people somewhere safe above the surface of the sea, as well as unite the 4 seas into 1 sea. One Piece, as they say. This is what the One Piece was, a strategy to unite the world as one. However the alliance of 20 nations was wary and afraid of Pluton, as well as Poseidon's ability to command the sea kings. They then began a campaign of persecution against Fishmen and wiped out the Ancient Kingdom and proceded to bury any and all historical records of it. The reason the government is afraid of the Poneglyphs now is this:
1.) The Poneglyph on Laugh Tale details the entire truth of the 100 Year void, the deadly sins of the Alliance, and the true plan of the Ancient Kingdom.
2.) The Pluton is still there on Laugh Tale, and the Government believes if someone uses it now, they'll blow away Marijoa, which is a big no no for them because that's where the rich bastards live.
3.) If the truth gets out, people will rise up against the government, and they will no longer have enough power to maintain world peace and order.
Thus, the Tragedy of Wano is also the Tragedy of the Ancient Kingdom.

my own theory is, by opening/destroying wano border (miniature of 'red line' surrounding wano), the chaotic current around the island will flown into calm belt, makes ancient beast (like zunisha?) that trapped on florian triangle getting free. Momonosuke is the uranus, ancient weapon that commands land monsters. The TWO kings from the Neptunians prophecy were Momonosuke and Shirahoshi.

This has been a great flashback, but I think I'm ready to head back to the present.
We've known Oden isn'y Yonko level for a while now. He was knocked back, injured, from a clash with Rodger yet Whitebeard was able to match Rodger.
I'm still going for Toki as the traitor;
1. She got sick just before Laugh Tale like Buggy. In my mind she triggered the illness in order to try and infect Shanks and thus prevent the Straw Hat from reaching Laugh Tale just yet. Rodger was laughing because the final secret of Laugh Tale needed his old Straw Hat and by passing it to Shanks and Buggy getting ill the hat he'd had for so long didn't make the final journey.
2. Her wound was none fatal and distinctive. The none fatal aspect could be a lucky break but it seems unusual for someone who has been constantly avoiding danger for centuries. The distinctive nature means she is still alive so couldn't have been surprised by Kaido.
3. She is the person who has the best access to Momonosuke
As for her reasons, I believe she was given a mission to ensure the final secret of Laugh Tale was unlocked by the right person and the best way to do that was to protect the Poneglyph in Wano (Zou's protects itself and the Fishmen used to protect the other.) , something that would be far harder to do with Oden (and his open border policy) than it would be under Kaido (sealed border)
That doesn't at all prove he isn't yonko level, he literally clashed with Whitebeard several years before that when he was younger and weaker which you conveniently left out. Are you telling me Roger can't injure a yonko? He got hit by a named attack by the strongest pirate in one piece and he bounced back immediately with only minor injuries
Hey Grandline, did you notice how at the end of the chapter, after showing Toki, the chapter cuts to a courtesan? To me it felt reminiscent of when Komurasaki was cut down and the chapter jumped over to Hiyori. I feel like Oda is purposely messing with us
For me this chapter cleared Shinobu's name. But this just opens the huge possibly that the traitor is one of the Nine Red Scabbards.
I think that Toki really intended to die right at that moment, but she learned about the traitor being really close; so she decided to follow in the future (maybe before Kin'emon and the others arrived) and took Hiyori to protect her. Also making her own moves in the shadows.
The traitor was Condoriano.

I believe Oda has given us the answer to why Oden made the deal.
1. When Kaido says we have a spy among you, Oden doesn’t bat an eyes as if he already knows because someone (orichi) already told him prior.
2. The old lady turned into odens father and was able to turn into momo and they probably showed and explained to Oden how the fruit works.
3. Orochi displays how easily they can order an assassination from their castle meaning they can kill momo or family at anytime.
4. Orochi has obviously told Oden that kaido and his crew were shipwrecked on wano and to appease them they would make them ships so they don’t “harm the people”
the old saying is true, "if you fool me once shame on you, if you fool me twice shame on me!".
Catching up with this channel while I also catch up to the anime. I just wanted to point out the amusement I got from the comment "I guarantee this 1 chapter will play out over at least 2 or 3 episodes" when it was really only like half an episode. Thank you for having some logic, I've been in a debate on who the traitor could be and I just don't see any of the scabbards being the traitor up to this point they've either helped too much or shown too much loyalty or sacrificed for them to be a traitor imo. At this point I'm leaning towards no actual traitor and it was all just the old woman getting intel and maybe even making vivre cards from some of the Scabbards.
The Old Woman in the present day is likely dead, since her powers now belong to Bon-Clay.

Raizou as a traitor is a nice idea. After all, he was at Zou when Jack arrived.
But he arrived at Zou by pure accident, the plan was for the 4 do them to arrive together, yet Jack came looking for Raizo specifically. So the traitor must be someone with that info.

Why would oden not be Yonko level. That literally goes against his entire clash with whitebeard, being able to take hits from Roger, being Whitebeards #2 (similar to Rayleigh and Roger who was Yonko level in his prime) and being able to overwhelm kaido.

I know this is kinda out there but... I think it may have to do with queen and his poison making ability. In the prisoner mine he shot a few prisoners and it spread by contact. So what if the arrow that was shot was some kind of precursor to the poison used in the prison. Something like an uncontrollable spreading disease would seem to be a good reason.
Sadly odens saga will end with his demise.
This story is following the path of the 47 Ronin. And the whole thing kicks off after a feudal Lord attempted to kill another one out of spite but failed. The Lord of was stripped of his title for attempted murder and executed via Seppuku.

Kaido hitting oden from behind actually broke my heart. I thought oh him as an honorable man but I was wrong.
Oden vs Kaido, the battle of the ages! At least, it will be that in the anime. The manga version had them take the bullet train to the next story segment instead. This fight just cements home even more just how little Oda wants to flesh out fights in the series. i am not even asking for like 2 chapters. He is montaging through a chapter titled " Kaido vs Oden. This should have been an easy 10 outta 10. Instead, what is there just lacked a lot of impact because Oda did not want us to see even an iota of what kaido is capable of , probably until the present day battle. Even then, I kinda fear a lot of offscreening for what will probably be some of the most battle heavy chapters post timeskip.
Imagine if we did see few attacks from Kaido and it devastated the land but Oden deflected that and in the present day, The Sh crew and the alliance have to deal with an upgraded version of that attack. But it is all up to speculation as to how strong Oden really was.
Yes, I know one-piece is no longer a battle heavy shounen, but it would have been nice to see an extended clash of oden and KaIdo. The mere 3 to 4 pages doesn't feel right.
Weird theory, but I think it would make great narrative impact if Raizo was revealed as the traitor. Just imagine, an entire civilisation fought to protect him. Also, maybe that's why Jack was specifically looking for him at Zou.

It actually cracks my mind on how has no one so far suspected Toki.... she's the perfect candidate, no one knows anything about her motives and she is really the driving force of all this. Even the fact that her scar was the motive for Oden to dash in the palace makes it even more suspicious. I will not even mention about her son being used for the mane-mane no mi scum. She's the closest person to mononosuke and she would be the perfect ally for all this. As for her motives... We could do the math after we see her back story.

I think the reason the fight was so rushed was because it’s a flashback. I don’t remember any full, big battle actually happening in any other flashback in One Piece.
All that chapter did was tell us everything we already know, and it got us nowhere further ahead in the story of Oden.

Toki's attitude was so weird, it looked like she was in some kind of denial, I would like to know why , probably she behaved like that to keep their kids relaxed, or maybe something else happened.
Shes a Celestial dragon born 800 years ago, when Oden met her she was calling the pirates that surrounded her slavers. The only link to 800 years ago was mentioned by the Gorosei saying Vivis family are from 800 years ago and are considered betrayers of the Gorosei/Celestials.

Hi! I have the feelling that the lie Orochi told Oden, was about ancestral weapon Urano. I have a theory that Urano is in Wano, it is a place linked to the ancient kingdom like Gyoyin island an Arabasta, and there aren't much more important places to visit, despite maybe Elbaf. So i think Orochi told Oden that Kaido has found Urano, and as Oden should have read the poneglyph about Urano being in Wano, he thought it was truth. I don't think Oden sacrifice his own people for a selfish reason, like his family being threatened.

The traitor has to be Toki because she knew about Wano before it was even created and for some reason coincidentally ran into Oden and had his kid. When Oden went with Roger, Toki was ill and couldn't go with him but she made it to Wano a year before Oden returned. To me I feel like her devil fruit isn't what she claims it to be. If she can only go to the future then how is it that she had future information such as Wano even the country wasn't a thing in her time. I believe she was sent by someone in order to create a weakness for Oden because remember, Oden didn't care for anything to the point where he left Wano
So Oden might be the reason for the scar on invincible Kaido

I think the series can work as it is friendly with times. If you think about it... it is very diverse and very accepting Usop is African... Zorro is Japanese... Robin is Spanish... Nami is Swedish... Luffy is Brazilian... Sanji is friend... chopper is Canadian. All these character's can work... Sanji can be like Bernie Simpson form how I met your mother and even played by a gay person... manga luffy will work... Zorro will work... nami will work... usop will work... Robin will work... chopper will need to be altered slightly or since he's a child he will work... but the rest of I mentioned can work fine. The real one piece failed is not only because of the 4kids dubbed... or the fact the funimation dubbed is so far behind... it's because, It's because of the East Blue SAGA.
Edited: As for the female characters... just don't over sexualize them on less it is important to the character... like Boa Hancock. I can't write all my ideas here I wrote all of them in the comment section of Steven Maede's post on Insargram about one piece... Please check it out because there is a lot to consider and follow Steven Meada because he needs followers. I believe this series can work easily with the right talent and a wise use of there budget.
To be fair even though Oden could’ve won 5 years ago Kaido could have easily used his dragon form to fly around Wano and set the several villages and capitals on Fire, resulting in the death of thousands of civilians.
