Sooo much lessons we can learn from this. One that the evil eye is real, if the messengers sons can be envious of their sibling, anyone can, we also learn that we need pure patience and tawakkul in Allah and to neevr give up hope, we learn that dua is beyond powerful. We learn that Allah doesn't let any good deed and patience go to waste, he rewards whom he wills. His father losing his eyesight and remembering the smell of Yusuf brought tears to my eyes! Yusuf must have been beyond handsome if a woman cuts her hand instead of food, such beauty left them in awe. Yusuf is a true believing man, choosing prison over zina and we also learn he didn't complain once when trials and calamities came, he accepted them as a true believer through patience and pure trust! Many more!

Abdullah bin Amr narrated that the Messenger of Allah said :
"The companion who is the best to Allah is the one who is best to his companion. And the neighbor that is the best to Allah is the one that is best to his neighbor."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ حَيْوَةَ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ، عَنْ شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " خَيْرُ الأَصْحَابِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ خَيْرُهُمْ لِصَاحِبِهِ وَخَيْرُ الْجِيرَانِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ خَيْرُهُمْ لِجَارِهِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ . وَأَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيُّ اسْمُهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ .
Grade: Sahih (Darussalam)
Abdullah bin Amr narrated that:
The Prophet said: "The Lord's pleasure is in the parent's pleasure, and the Lord's anger is in the parent's anger." (Hasan)
