The tailoring mixed with elements of sportwear and outerwear, the layers, the sheer fabrics over heavier fabrics. The colours, the streetwear UGH it's just too good! I believe the stylist is Kim Youngjin and I stan!

NCT nails streetwear with an edge like no one else. Yuta’s open skirt, and Mark’s black jacket with the sheer overlay are my favorites. Jaehyun keeps it simple with the black and red; his hair is a really pretty shade of red too. The song is about not conforming to “rules of normality” and being true to yourself, and I think it’s expressed nicely through the fashion. Can’t wait for your next reactions!
Honestly! Every time I watch them, the streetwear is DOWN! Sheer layers over heavier items is such a great look, I love it! Yeah I agree with you, the fashion defo expresses the message of the song! Thank you so much for watching ✌
the fashion in this was extremely slept on, and alot of people even hate on it but it's literally one my favorite mv styling from nct! i really wonder how'd you feel about firetruck, i'm alternative so i love the styling especially the hairstyles but again, alot of people disagree ++ the fandom has a joke about forgetting nct's styling choices, firetruck included and im just there absolutely loving it😭

They had edgy and different styling, very unconventional and very out there which I like. A lot of boy groups have outfits that you would see in certain spheres whether it's hype beast or runway or even casual wear. I feel like Simon Says had even more unconventional styling than you'd expect in any the spheres I mentioned, especially runway. It was tailored and made specifically to emphasise their uniqueness and distinct appeal which goes well with the message of the song
Also, Johnny just released another JCC episode where him and Yuta went to go get their nails done!!!

My two friends and me are really starting to follow Yuta’s fashion (one of them doesn’t even really know him, just think he’s cool). Like the nails, the clothing the hair...everything is so cool and we take a lot of inspiration from him ✨

I don't wanna sound cocky or anything like that but this is the only way for me to rant about the hatred that NCT got over their wardrobe choices but..... you need to have a certain level of taste & understanding of fashion, couture & art for you to understand what they're doing. Like if people think Gucci, they will think about the monogram shit.. but NCT think Gucci in a Alessandro Michele kind of way.
Personally for me I think it soooo refreshing to see an idol group that have no limit when it comes to their musicality and their looks. Because the possibilities are endless when you're just being creative and experimental, rather than focusing on looking "good" and "appropriate"!

Thank you! I also studied fashion design and specialised in menswear and then I worked in the fashion industry in production and buying so I wanted to talk about what I love and know. Everyone can have their opinion, we all have different tastes at the end of the day BUT the fashion in this video needs to be appreciated!
@@georgehollins yeah for sure personal preference is fine and opinions and all but sometimes the styling is impeccable or has a reason to why it’s the way it is and they’re like omgggg who would wear that??? Like ITS CONCEPTUAL AND ITS HIGH FASHION 😩😩😩 its not supposed to be normal street wear for regular people. It just breaks my heart because I know how much work goes behind conceptualizing outfits. Granted sometimes styling can be awful, not everything is good but when it’s GOOD and it gets dissed I’m just like ☠️☠️ hahahha
What's so strange about this K-pop mv is, that they stayed with their main clothing for like 80% of the MV..... They usually distribute their 3-4 outfits per member evenly but this one is differemt

I'm not even an NCT stan and the fashion in this video made me weep, I live for the creepy cool. I hadn't even noticed the laces until you mentioned them, it's interesting to see how stylists for large groups are able to use details like that to unify the outfits!

I love Yuta and Heachan outfit. They look so weird at first impression but I started to get more into them. I believe yuta have a really good sense of fashion. He can still look fit and possible with the weirdest outfits.

I think you would love 'work it' by nct u, I don't know much about fashion but those outfits-
I think Simon Says has my favorite fashion in all NCT videos. The gray outfit are the most cohesive while being entirely unique on each member.
Anyways this is so cool, hope you can react to NCT Dream videos too (particularly Boom and Riding).
SM sometimes collab with Esteem, Fashion and Model agency (SM sub agency).
Just like Red Velvet colorful ombre and F(x) first ombre in Kpop (trendsetter).
Also SM always make their own outfit with some pro fashion designer (you can watch JCC about punch outfit).
SM also always keep & show off their outfit at SM Coex Museum and exhibition (I wish I can go there 😭). You can find all of SM group and soloist outfits from Kangta, BoA, Super junior, TVXQ, Shinee, F(x), EXO, Red Velvet, to NCT (idk about Aespa because they're still new group).

Hi, the reason why you didn't catch Winwin's outfits (black jacket with white details, red sweatshirt, bellissima sash) during the choreo scenes is that he didn't participated in the dance for that comeback.
Winwin didn't have so much exposure in this MV but you just acknowledging him in the bare moments he was given made me so happy 💚

I just found out about you! Omg! I love this reaction! I love you. Yes, the outfit was Winwin's and it was my favorite, too. For the other one it wasn't Haechan's but Yuta's.
I appreciate your effort in researching the member's names and examining the video carefully. Nowadays, the market for reaction videos is really saturated and I feel like everyone is milking the hell out of it, considering how much K-Pop fans feel the need to be validated by the opinions of others. It's cringy when people just give the same fake reactions without really diving deep into who they are watching and what the video is about, I feel like research is really the least a reactor could do (unless of course, they don't do reactions for a living which is understandable.) It's really a breath of fresh air that you want to put a name to their faces because most people don't make an effort unless it's BTS or Blackpink. I hope you keep up with this passion.
