With 40 dollars I will buy a AAA game from epic or steam... 10 to 15 dollars should be the price for this... It's just outrages... Don't know what happened with supercell. After Darian left, COC is just like greedy AF.

I think any "legendary" sceneries should definitely cost way more than a typical scenery, but I think $33 is probably too much. There's a threshold where the price is too steep that no matter how cool it is, people just won't be able to afford to buy it. I think future legendary sceneries should cost slightly less, maybe something like $20-25 where it's still significantly more expensive but not out of budget for almost every player.
I'm Okey if they get money from skin's (as primary money maker) as long they improve things elsewhere like heros and so one but SC is owned by tencent
My thoughts exactly. As a good marketer, you have to know the economy, the pockets of the people you are targeting, and the people themselves. If they (SC) are only targeting the Whales, creators, and pros for this skin, then they made the decision to lose a lot of money making the price so outrageous, 90% of the games players either can’t afford or refuse to spend. SC clearly went this way, bc they could’ve/would’ve sold WAY MORE pricing this scenery at $19.99. I would’ve bought it for that price (I do realize that that is a high price as well, but considering that this looks to be an extremely rare item, I think 2.5 the original price is warranted), now I’ll pass, as will over 90% of its player base. Too bad to, it is really cool.
@@c_vincent_pI don’t think they’re targeting the whales, I think majority of their income is due to their global size player base. And I would hazard a guess that discount potions etc and gold pass are best sellers, then skins and sceneries. I think they’re just trying things out for instance the cosmetic in gold pass replacement was a test and failed miserably, now they try this scenery.
Personally SC being multi billion dollar company has more than enough money to pump out better updates, it’s obvious they’re prioritising revenue over game quality. But we’ll see

I agree. I get that it’s cosmetic but still. This is a similar thing to what happened in warframe when they tried to sell heirloom skins for 90$. This scenery isn’t quite as outrageous as 90$, but it’s still way too steep for a single cosmetic scenery.

I’m ngl RR + valk is pretty bad now. It’s quite difficult to 3 star in LL with it, especially if your equipment is underlevelled.
Not happy been playing for 10 years almost max base..spent money though out the years...now someone can start and by next update of cc be max with very little money spent...what happened is all the long timers are getting fffffffffed not fair at all...how long will I play now. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Supercell is out of their minds for charging that much. If it's about money they should have charged less to sold more
It’s a company, everything is about money. They set the price at whatever they think will make them the most money and I bet they have a lot better idea of how many people are likely to buy it than we do.
They want it more exclusive. In order to do that they can do two things. Limit quantity available or increase the price.
I think the scenery could have way cheaper and a lot more people would have bought it. Like imagine if it was only 15$+tax, I'm sure more than double the people would have bought it and they would have made more money. But I guess they want to make this scenery exclusive...
That exclusive nature makes it that more people will want it in relative terms (Those that want to get cosmetics).
So I think it might even increase the sell count.
I assume that you can only buy this scenery in limited time and never get it using gems later on.
We finally got a scenery which is at the level of chinese version of Coc
I think this shoukd be permanant in the shop.
My biggest problem is that the amount of ore and therefore time needed to get each piece of equipment to good levels is insane. You almost feel incentivized to pick one attack and stick with it so you can optimally use your very limited ore. I wish they weren’t so time gated
Rocket spear and shield on RC for super witch attacks are very powerful. I'm frequently getting perfect or near-perfect LL days with that combo. The difference is, you use the RC to funnel the SWs, or to protect their flank by removing defenses on their side (and following up with a baby drag, minions, or wizards to clean the trash buildings). So you use the RC and her abilities earlier in the attack. With the fox, she still often lasts until the end of the hit. And even when she doesn't, you still have at least 2 SWs and some bears still alive, plus your queen or king to finish off the base, usually in about 2 minutes.
Appreciate the fireball/earthquake chart Itzu! It's nice to know the supercharged equipment doesn't change things at the key fireball levels!

Supercell learnt something from Clash of Clans Chinese version. Just my guess. Chinese Clash of Clans version first dropped the legendary scenery, which inspired SC that this could make tons of money.

Not sure why they make changes to the strength of troops and heroes while CWL is still in process instead of waiting until all clans are done. But with what I’ve seen in recent years from this new group at Supercell it doesn’t surprise me.

I dont mind if they add a rare cosmetic and charge like 500 dollar for it. Just keep the normal cosmetics "cheap". Its already quite expensive if you want a hero set and maybe the map to fit a theme. You can buy entire games for that price lol!

I think charging money from the cosmetics is the best way to keep game relatively balanced between
spenders and F2Ps as there are always people who want cosmetics regardless of the price.
And the larger the percentage of total revenue comes from cosmetics the better it is for F2Ps.

But supercell making money off cosmetics means they don’t need to cash grab elsewhere, especially if it affects gameplay so I’m fine with that. We've been trying the Dragon strat in my clan. I think there needs to be flexibility in the CC because quite often the balloons + 3 clones only manage to get the lone TH.
- if the TH is either isolated or very well guarded, supergobs are best: it's OK to buy them they help a lot with farming too, and it saves 3 spells. There's more randomness in case of bombs, but that happens rarely.
- yetibomb frees up some spells too, it requires only EQ+rage+freeze. That's for if the TH is *NOT* too well defended, and there are no heroes a bit further away to lure the yetis too far. It's OK if the heroes are right next to the TH.
I feel these 2 CCs on average work better than the cloned loons, but that's very base-dependent, especially traps but also defs and layout. Or maybe we're just bad with loons, I'm struggling to get people to really spread the clones widely.

I'd also like to ask you to analyze the earthquake boots and overgrowth radius. Earthquake boots got a 2 tile increase, and I barely noticed a difference. Overgrowth got a 1 tile reduction, and I noticed a MAJOR MAJOR difference. Something just seems off on these chages like as if they are not actually accurate.

As much as I agree the scenery is overpriced it will make it very exclusive which was the point by supercell considering they labeled it legendary.
I think $15-20 would be the right price for this. It would be nice if we had rarities for sceneries. Common-older sceneries would be $5. Rare sceneries would be $10. And these new legendary sceneries should be $15.

There are a lot of complaints about the skin being too expensive. We should be happy if Supercell can make a lot of money with expensive skins! The more money they make from skins, the less they need to implement P2W mechanics to incentivize purchasing. You can simply choose not to purchase the cosmetics and enjoy a high-quality, free game!

It's a good looking scenery, but the price is ridiculous. I'd rather just buy a basic scenery that looks just as good for a quarter of the cost.
I think Hog puppet will get effected after Nerve As Low Lvl Hogs gets spawned gaint bomb can more easily get rid of the hogs

Chinese apparently. I’ve seen comments asking why we don’t have the stuff the chinese server has, if we want chinese level items we’re gonna have to pay the prices they do.
Wonder what their sceneries cost over there. Wonder if all of their sceneries cost $35 as well (for one like this)? By pricing it at such an extreme rate/price, they just lost money. Makes no sense whatsoever, business sense wise. So it must be that they only want certain players to own it. 90%+ players in this game cannot afford, or justify (in these economic times) the spending of nearly $40 for JUST a scenery.

Hi itzu, for the magic mirror under active ability at max there should be 891 hp recovery on the queen but this isnt happening, is this a bug still or am i reading the ability incorrectly?

Anyone notice a bug with super witches now? Big boy used to spawn immediately after dying, now it take almost 20 seconds to respawn. You can see it here in iTzu's video.

I must not be maximizing my King’s potential, but I feel like Vampstache is underrated. With a Druid or two, my king almost always survives an entire raid.. (I’ve been using Vamp/Gauntlet as of late)
Now we know where they put the income they were expecting form the Warden Skin...they didn't add it to the gold pass out of pure good will.

I don't know about everyone else but many people in my clan said they will be taking breaks after CWL. COC is getting way too greedy, and this last update is extremely underwhelming and forcing people to be slaves to the game IMO. I feel for the first time in over ten years of playing this game that it is truly dying. I know a lot of "gung ho" clashers who are fed up. We really need Darian back. These new guys are making the game unplayable.

I have every scenery except for the cwl medal one. For that price, there's no way I'm getting this one. I'm one of the ones who's considered to be a whale in this game.
ItZu if supercell really care about new players to catch up it was a better solution to give all TH 1-5 3000% speedboost building/research and resources bonus. And TH 6-10 2000% speedboost/research and TH 11-16 1000% something like that. Supercell earn enough money to give us a update with a new TH. Thanks for your video's big support to you!
