I spoke with someone at the company about how to mix with a pump sprayer
You need to pour in this order. They stressed that.
    - 1 gallon of water
    - 13 oz of surfactant. I used diesel
    - 4-6 oz of Brushtox. I used 6.
Worked like a charm. Good luck

If you don't have diesel, would a dish soap like Dawn work?

I use crossbow (32% 2,4-d + 16% Triclopyr) and 2-3 oz per gallon works well. Its my understanding that Brushtox and other similar products you can use 3-oz per gallon and double it for bark applications to trees or stumps. If you spray ester herbicide in hot weather, 1-oz of automotive antifreeze will prevent crystals from forming and improve the effectiveness.

@@heavymechanic2 wait anti freeze? I thought I could use oil? But doesn't that kill grass? Anti freeze?

@@MG-cd9ek Surfactant is a soap/oil mixture used to penetrate woody material. Small amounts of antifreeze is effective as a surfactant, you get better burn-down in hot weather.

      @@heavymechanic2 hey thanks for responding.
Listen, I had 80 percent creeping Charlie AND weeds. I literally mean 80 percent of my front and back yard.
I had no choice but to cover it all. Took me 3 hours. I used dawn with the brush tox.,. I'm in pa zone 4-5 and I did it Friday after work. Use 3 oz brush T to a gallon water. I literally just did the entire yard, no one maintained this property for years. I also did some areas on my neighbors property that met mine because my yard was causing them problems too. They have beautiful lawns. Anyway, I'm so worried I'm gonna kill the grass now. I didn't drench it but I did do two treatments,
Do you think I have a big concern here? I'm literally a nervous wreck waiting for this to start to work, they say it takes about 10-14 days in this region to see results in August. I've been sick with worry. Will the grass be dying you think sir?
Any comment would really help so I know what to expect. Ugh afraid my neighbors are going to flip if their grass dies.

@@MG-cd9ek The Triclopyr in BrushTox is really hard on trees and shrubs, it destroys hard to kill weeds in your lawn such as violets. I would not worry about killing the grass unless you used the entire bottle on a small yard. Weed killer can be tough on grass in hot humid weather, another consideration. Just remember the amount used across an area such as 500 sq ft is important and one gallon of spray should cover that much area when the grass is dry. I hope this helps and the label can be confusing.

I've even contacted the company, and no one there could tell me the ratio for mixing with a gallon of water. Works well on kudzu and I usually mix three ounces to a gallon
