I recently found Dan's channel and I'm blown away watching what he does to people's hair. I could watch him for hours cutting and styling hair. What he does with scissors is an art and what he does with his right hand with is amazing. Plus, he's so handsome!
He is a beautiful man 😉 His hair looks incredible... the gray is just gorgeous. But, funny thing is, when I watch him work, I don't really focus on his looks because I'm so enthralled with his skill and artistry.

When someone truly cares, and is passionate about what they're doing, you can see it and how it comes across to the client. No matter what profession it is.
He's the best barber I've ever seen or watched. I love how he describes what he's going to do as he does it. Also, he listens to what his clients wants but he is honest if he thinks it's not what they need or won't work with their face shape or hair texture. Love you Dan. ❤️
@@baut_4451 haircut was great to be fair. He rebooked to go again in late May but was cancelled by Dan the day before due to a bereavement I believe? The app used takes prepayment and we struggled to rebook for another date without being asked for payment again? Reached out to Dan via several media platforms and WhatsApp and have been ignored for some reason. Have ended up going to the bank to do a charge back which wasn’t what he wanted to do, only done due to being unable to contact him directly. He has also moved to another location in Rodney street Liverpool. So the short answer is yes a great hair cut but may just want the fashionable young rather than a 61 year old retiree 🙄
A lovely lady shaved my head the day after my birthday which coincided as the night/morning after having a wonderful night with my family, I retired to bed and during normal bedtime routine I ran my hand through my hair and that’s when I broke down, as clumps of hair came out. She asked if I wanted a coffee, I said no at first. Then she told me she’d start from the back sos not to scare me, after a few sweeps with the tool to give me a buzz cut, I stopped her and asked for the coffee. I’d just had my second chemo, the hairdresser was so very conscious of me that at the time I didn’t really realize it. Nearly 20yrs later I still remember her, thank you. He’s so down to earth, so happy for his success x
A hair dresser saved me from a deep sad funk fourteen years ago... He gave me hope. I went with it. Thank g#d. I hated the way I looked, I had taken to buzzing my hair, feeling really high about it for three days or so, and then really depressed as I realized it just didn't suit me. I was hung up about hairloss, transplants, looking sh#t and I never could imagine, that I could be proud of the way i looked. One thing led to another, and I really improved.
11:58 Yep 100%. I was in recovery for PTSD and suicidal depression and my barbers were basically my lifeline throughout the whole thing without realising. I would not have made it through the process without them

I started watching Dan because he was so damned good looking! But, I used to cut hair for my husband and kids. I divorced him, kids grew up and moved away. But it's still fascinating to watch and learn.

During COVID I started cutting my own hair-usually a buzz or shaved. ( I’m really bald except the fringe on the side). I got really tired of that look and prefer the short hair or bald look much more. It was a real eye-opener and it gave me a much deeper appreciation of your calling. I started growing my beard fall and it’s grown in quite well. I do see a barber now, especially for the beard. I’ve had too many “accidents” on my own. I do appreciate your videos!

What dan is explaining at 18:40 is called impostor syndrome. It's quite common, to some degree. It's a good quality to have, in my opinion....edit: ok, the host just explained that it's impostor syndrome, too funny.
