your video gives inspiration to a lot of youngsters who have just started in life. One always climb the success ladder gradually thru consistent hard-work and perseveance. This is very difficult to understand in todays generation of instant gratification and social media. I feel the 90s and 2000s people can relate with you more.

My CTC after 13+ years with bonus became 40 LPA. I dont have kids. I could not buy an apartment in Bangalore because whatever I liked was above 2 crore. I came back to my hometown Kolkata and bought an apartment for 1 crore (including furniture and interiors). If you want to buy a good apartment in Bangalore we need 3 lakhs per month as salary after tax. I am talking about good living and not merely existing. Well back in 2011 my CTC was 3LPA.

I recall my initial days started in Delhi with 12K in hand. With experience, now I am at 45L, working with an MNC in Bangalore. You will grow high with learning, experience, initiatives and of course right choices. Yes, its upto you, what lifestyle you maintain and your expenses will be like that. And with family, it will grow. In a decent locality in Blr like HRBR, Kasturi Nagar, for 2BHK the deposit amount is 1-1.5LPA. I found this city expensive compared to Delhi.

It only takes a disease and hospitalization to put you and your family into hell. Make sure you have family health insurance and term insurance because it's risky without it and 100% there will be a time when you fall sick/accident and you won't be able to go to job. So better to prepare it as you do not want your children's to suffer.

Man, when did you earn just net 40k per month? Today, I just checked numbeo site for Bengaluru, and the average monthly income in that city, is 125,000inr. So, to be an average employee in Bengaluru, you've got to be about 20LPA. And these are the employees, we are not talking about the huge number of entrepreneurs, from those owning a grocery, a restaurant or some flats to rent etc. So, in conclusion, today (25 July 2023)Bengaluru is the richest(and probably most expensive) city in India, and richer than all cities from South America and Central America, richer even than some capitals from European Union.

But we need to consider the expenses to live day to day life. Rent before 10 yrs and now is huge. And you have to give money to your family too. Please don't compare now and then and also see location.

@artie5172 Hi Artie, im absolutely aware of these as im also running my family in this era only. but reality is i've seen current freshers who dont want to use city buses for regular commuting and utilizing ola uber like normal life. spending by freshers has also gone too high and dont want to stay with 5-6 roomates in one flat. This is also reality.

    • @artie5172

@@nilrocks Yes there are some people in quora who asks like is 30lpa not enough for a fresher. Which also irritates me. But I say companies in these expensive cities should consider people's expense and allot them salary. Because I see many give just 2lpa for bangalore like city because they are fresher. If they want high talent then they could hire right why do they hire fresher and give him low salary. That's the reason I said.

Looking at current scenario & with rising inflation, one should have to be money minded cz at the end everything boils down to money. The golden era of livelihood gone long back like one u used to survive happily with 20k-25k, 10-12 years back. But the era has so much chaged in past 10 years

Market abhi thoda unstable hai. Keep trying. Look for refferal. Reach out directly to HRs on LinkedIn. Look for internships. To be frank, even if I start applying I won't get call since the market is in recovery mode.

@@adee6467how many companies give that much? What's in hand salary? How much is the work pressure? What's the job security? Govt job gives you a lot of extra things like known people in govt and important govt departments. Many people leave high paying corporate jobs for govt/PSU jobs. I've never seen anyone leaving good govt job and joining private jobs.

@@adee6467Another delusional person. How many companies offer 50 lakh? Like seriously???
Even the companies that offer this much money, offer this money only "once". The shares are paid only "once", joining or retention bonus is paid only "once". And most of this money is in the form of a bonus for which you have to work 12 hr+ everyday to have a reasonable shot at it. These people don't live a happy family life. Cheating on their partners is very common in metro cities. Have you ever looked at this problem?
What is the earning potential of an IT engineer? How many age 40+ IT engineers are there in the country? You will be jobless once you cross age 40. Whereas in other professions you will continue to earn more and more until your retirement at age 60-65.

Bro the condition of govt. quarters is pathetic to say the least & waiting period is more than 4-5 years even in group B 4600/4800 grade pay jobs.
Moreover, many of my friends who passed from decent NITs or did MTech from IIT are easily getting placed at 50+ LPA with good work life balance (Only college phase & GATE exam preparation phase was like an ‘Agyaatwaas’.
Govt. services are only good if your aim is to crack UPSC and get top group A services.
Most high paying PSUs are like sugarcane juice machine. Needless to explain further.
