I do that too, I don't understand why anyone would want to waste money bringing the buy-able gobble gums and risk loosing them unless they were working on a calling card or something or just trying to help out the team by bringing gobble gums that restock ammo or help get them points. it's so frustrating when you're playing with 4 people and 5 minutes into the game 2 people have left because they didn't get the gobble gum they wanted and then maybe 10 minutes later the other guy leaves because he went down with perkaholic and doesn't want to loose it.

BO3: host leaves, connection interrupted, game ends, lost connection to host (supposedly an upgrade?).
BO3 with the megas also encourages people to leave game when they down to save their gum. Harder to make it to round 15+ in pubs with all the players you started with than previous games. You almost have to leave a game before it starts if you see a bunch of high tier megas.

Knifed until I had enough points to buy ammo for the m14 and get enough points to hit the box again. And I GET THE CROSSBOW! After that, I went back to Griffin Station to just be there, and the cosmonaut steals my only limited perk, quick revive. And then I uninstalled the rezerection dlc for bo1 and never played moon again

I feel like "in plain sight" is an extremely overlooked gobblegum. It gives you 2 uses and it's ability states "You remain unseen by zombies for 10 seconds."
you DONT have to farm for liquid divinium. AKA no praying to god that you get it in dr. Monty's factory. you also have an INFINITE supply of them. It's great for beginners and experienced players, it's DISGUSTINGLY GOOD in co-op zombies (letting you revive your teammates quickly), great for when you are cornered, and it's an overall great tool for almost everything in zombies. Nuff said

Why couldn't they at least just make it last one round? Why four haha. And Perkaholic... Part of the reason for doing the Easter eggs was because it'd give you all the perks! The Lucario Project I agree. For me, most of the time I run useless gobblegums like the one that make the zombies fly after they die. I honestly never even use the gobblegum machine in a full game. Just buy perks, pack-a-punch, a gun, and you're set.

I usually grab Perkaholic, Immolation Liquidation to get my guns, and then Self Medication. After either Self Medication is gone or the rounds are just more difficult, I'll get Near Death Experience.

Completely agree with this! The worst is when people combine them. On the Chronicles maps: someone pops a shopping free, opens the map. Then a Perkaholic and a Immolation Liquidation. All perks, map opened, wonder weapon all on round 1-3. It's not fun. And I just can't convince my friends so no I gotta play solo again :(

Joe John if you play a fighting game and in the newest version an overpowered mechanic becomes the dominant metagame tool, but it's far easier than it was before and ruins the old style of play, should you be blamed for having complaints about how the new game works and still playing it to the best of your ability? I don't think that's hypocritical, I think he's using his voice in the community to give treyarch an idea of whether or not the gobblegums system is appreciated by the community and how far it has changed it.

Sorry pat, but not many share your thoughts on gobblegums. To you, Gobblegums are just a normal, and essential part of a zombies game. To most of us, it's those little drops of amazement that you get so often, that you hold on to, not using until the time is right. Also, I personally find it pretty stupid that you pay money for something that:
1. You don't need to be good or have fun. Ever.
2. You think takes away from the game.

This is very true, however this video is more relevant to Zombies TH-camrs who have spent thousands of dollars, pounds, ect, over the course of BO3, that allows them to have so many gobblegums! For the average player, they are cautious with their gobblegum usage.
Yes Newtons cookbook has allowed players to obtain the rarer gobblegums easier, however you still need a lot of gobblegums for that to be super efficient.

The only two gobblegums I use are Anywhere but here and Alchemical antithesis
pat can u do a part two of this. I feel like alchemical should be on it. pop it and you pretty much have unlimited ammo for a full minute with two uses. stupidly overpowered with the staffs or bows

oisin O'Connor Alchemical is only good late game/later rounds, if you use it in the early rounds it stops you getting points which is a big issue early on, the majority of the busted gobblegums are busted no matter the situation
I TOTALLY agree with this guy, he is the first major zombies TH-camr that has acknowledged this problem for how easy it makes zombies and how it takes out the challenge of it, I'm glad he made this video and I hope that gobble gum isn't in the next zombies game.

I've never quit out of a game if I go down with a perkaholic. Never been my style. I also play nearly exclusively solo unless I'm with friends. Alchemical is pretty good for yourself but I think self-medication is incredulously busted and got overlooked as well.

Today I played a casual high round game of Shangri la remastered, no perkaholics, no shopping frees, no immolations, no mega gobblegums. Just me earning points and grinding through rounds, and to be completely honest, it was one of the enjoyable games that I have played in Black Ops 3.
