This brings back so many memories of sitting in front of the TV on Sunday Morning. Forgot how cartoonish these intros were, but that was the "Fox Style" at the time. It's a tad more subdued now. Interesting to see them talking about the Falcons since this was the year they went to the Super Bowl.
That NFC West was something wasnt it in the late 90s☆A different division winner every year☆96 it was the Panthers, 97 it was the 49ers, 98 it was the Falcons, 99 it was the Rams and in 2000 it was the Saints☆
Terrible year in Chicago, leading to the drafting of QB Cade McNown and even worse days ahead. It was nice seeing the Vikings get bounced though. 15-1 don't mean a thing without the ring.
This was back when Arizona & Indianapolis were in Eastern Divisions; Jacksonville, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Cleveland, & Tampa Bay were in Central Divisions; and New Orleans, Carolina, & Atlanta were in the NFC West. More than 20 years later, Dallas & Miami are still in Eastern Divisions and Indianapolis is now in a Southern Division. Let all of what I just said sink in.
Atlanta 21 St.Louis 10 New Orleans 10 Miami 30 Carolina 21 NY Jets 48 Arizona 24 Kansas City 34 Tampa Bay 31 Chicago 17 Philadelphia 16 Green Bay 24 Washington 29 Oakland 19
The Raiders getting smacked at home continued another late season slide out of the playoffs back in Oakland. They were beset by injuries (DONALD HOLLAS was staring at QB), but they went from 6-2 and 7-3 to 8-8 and missed the postseason four the fifth straight season, which was their longest drought since their inception in the AFL in 1960 to 1967 when they made their first Super Bowl
Do you believe it NFL on FOX studio host Curt Menefee's biggest mistake that he would've become a father instead of Master's Degree in Public Policy Administration at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, the suburb of Chicago.
Those 1998 Steelers would not win another game. The Falcons would go to the Super Bowl. The Broncos would repeat. The Pack DO get it back, but lose to San Francisco. Arizona reaches the playoffs and upsets Dallas in the Wildcard round.
Broncos-Falcons played in Super Bowl 33 and the Broncos won back-to-back Super Bowl titles be4 Denver went back to the SB which is Super Bowl 48 and completely got destroyed by the Seattle Seahawks 43-8
do you know what's the best thing about this? In 1998, the Patriots weren't in the AFC East hunt, gosh I hate em, wouldn't mind them being terrible again
The AFC East was still strong. Once the Colts left to join the AFC South the division became crap, paving the way for Brady and Belichick to control the division for the next 14 years and possibly counting.
guys calm down you look these guys are cool James Brown, Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long and Cris Collinsworth and really there was a terrible coin toss during thanksgiving that a crazy coin toss when the referee said a after the coin toss he can't say a after the coin toss that is not cool
The Falcons went on to Super Bowl 33 but lost to the Denver Broncos 34-19. This was Denver's 2nd straight Super Bowl win; they beat Green Bay 31-24 in Super Bowl 32 in the year prior. This has been Atlanta's lone Super Bowl appearance in Franchise history while Denver went on to two more Super Bowl appearances. Denver lost to Seattle in Super Bowl 48, 43-8. Denver came back two years later and won Super Bowl 50 against Carolina, 24-10. Von Miller joined Terrell Davis (Super Bowl 32) and John Elway (Super Bowl 33), as the third Super Bowl MVP in Broncos history.
these were the good days James Brown and Howie Jimmy Terry and then you had Colinsworth with the smug look on his face you could hit a guy as hard as you wanted...
I hope this uploader has more because I'm dying for more.

BRONCO JEDI absolutely we were the best that year. Fuck the overrated overachieved 15-1 Viqueens.
Terrible year in Chicago, leading to the drafting of QB Cade McNown and even worse days ahead. It was nice seeing the Vikings get bounced though. 15-1 don't mean a thing without the ring.

Keyshawn was super jealous of Chrebet! If not jealous definitely insecure!
I still don’t understand the hype for him coming out of college
Keyshawn was highly overrated, and only his mouth kept him in the spotlight.
