@@ElYahvecinLang I hope the Broncos have something with the shade of blue used in these clips in the pipeline considering the one-helmet rule was rescinded. Their current Color Rush unis have their current color scheme.
I really like this format. Also enjoy the “ Hip to be Square” bits in between. That was a bad year for me. Breaking up with my girlfriend and watching my Chiefs getting beat in the wild card round by the Jets.
No fluke teams. These were The Best Of The Best, and deserved to be there. Giants hit a stride and they could do no wrong. I remember the 49er game at Giants Stadium. Total domination by New York, punctuated by Jim Burt knocking Montana unconscious. They were, in that way, like the 1985 Bears: they were on a roll late in the year and would not be stopped.
Jets might’ve been the 2nd best team out there after the Giants. If they went to Denver I don’t doubt they beat Denver and then get blown out by the Giants in the SB

Thanks so much for these videos I've been waiting some time for these it's really appreciated. The voice of Pat Summerall and John Madden brings back great memories for me 🤔🏈
I remember in 1986 how Seattle got hot down the stretch and won 5 straight to end the season at 10-6, The Seahawks were a team nobody wanted to play had they got in, They also handed the Giants one of their two losses that season.
And that was only when there were 2 wildcard spots available at the time in both conferences. The Seahawks finished strong but it wasn't enough at the time to earn a playoff spot. Much like the Denver Broncos the season before who finished 11-5 but MISSED the playoffs due to a tiebreaker.
5 times the Browns were a game away from a Super Bowl in 1968, 1969, 1986, 1987, 1989, lost all 5. The Giants also were a game away 5 times in 1986, 1990, 2000, 2007, 2011, won them all.
2000? Uh, No I am sorry but they got absolutely destroyed by the Baltimore Ravens (who’s defense coincidentally played with extreme veracity like the ‘86 Giants)
If Gastineau doesn't get called for the hit on Kosar, we have a Jets / Giants Super Bowl. The Jet defense was back in stride at this point similar to when they were 10-1 earlier in the season and scraped the Broncos on Monday Night.
The two teams met twice in the playoffs, each won two games. The 49ers had the regular season edge. The Giants did win the NFC championship game in 1990.
The Giants practically won the Super Bowl this season when they CRUSHED the Niners in the Divisional Round. Beating the Redskins & then the Broncos was pretty much the cherry on top. THIS was perhaps THE greatest Giants team of all time. 14-2 in the regular season and then just TORE through their 3 opponents in the playoffs & Super Bowl with relative ease( yeah, they trailed in the 1st half of the Super Bowl but really woke up in the 2nd half & never looked back after that ).🙂
I've said that my entire life. It's certainly close. The ref said it went directly over the upright which is considered good. Maybe from his point of view. from the camera it looked a bit outside.
Yes I agree it's all about themselves today. No class left in society. I could remember a time when Walter Payton, Barry Sanders, guys like that would had the ball to the referee after scoring a TD.
I loved the old New York Giants helmets please bring them back , and the Denver Broncos uniforms too😁🏈
Both teams wear those uniforms as color rush uniforms

Oh goodness thank you for this! The NFC was loaded. The AFC was crazy with the Browns games both going to the wire or even beyond.
Those were good playoffs
Yes it was either Niners (my fave), Giants, or Redskins with one year of Bears

Great video. My GIANTS of 86 were dominate and I'd put them up against any team in NFL history and they would have a chance because of LT
Lawrance Taylor one of the greatests
These are great! Do more!
1987 video is already uploading, I´m having several issues with copyright
I remember little Joe Morris and after that year I never anything from him again. I'm not saying he didn't keep playing he was just unheard of lol
I never heard of him before have to say
woooow congratulations!!! i wait the all NFL seasons!!
Sure, they´re coming
When both jets and browns had good teams, unlike today
Definitively, the Browns were getting better and they missed the road somehow

It may have been a New York super bowl
Redskins lost 5 games that year…. 4 of them to the 2 super bowl teams…. NFC was awesome this year!!
Definitively
Can't believe a Joe Montana 49ers team got blown out like that, I remembered watching the Super Bowl that year, there was a blizzard, as I recall.
I can´t believe that too
Buen video crack
En verdad muchas gracias
The 80’s Giants were the 80’s 49ers kryptonite

I still say that kick that sent the Broncos to the Super Bowl was no good.
Wow I wasn´t the only one to think that

Bears were one hit wonders
Agree with you
Can you imagine if elway stayed in baltimore, elway never drives to beat browns
Or maybe the Colts could have stayed in Baltimore
It was a disappointment that the Bears and Giants didn’t play.
Why?
Make a video of the 58's world cup
It´s already on the making, thank you very much for supporting the channel
Any idea when you will get 87 done? Anxiously waiting
It´s already uploading, sorry for the wait, I´m having copyright issues
Good times
The Bears were 14-2 and should've repeated as Superbowl Champions, but Jim McMahon was injured on a cheapshot during the season.
That´s the importance of a QB, even with that Bears defense
Tim Harris Correct ? I was 8 and remember that like yesterday.
it was the giants year
Go Giants
Thank you so much for watching
Much fun NFL in those days, now this stupid players get a first down and celebrate even when they're getting crushed by 30 points.
